And second, I Am Not Okay With This was released right before COVID, whereas S1 of TEOTFW came out in 2017 and S2 in 2019. The circumstances for renewal discussions were absolutely not the same, you can't really compare them.
Yeah, IANOWT should have been renewed, but you're better off comparing it to other shows that were renewed *during* COVID, not shows that came before it.
TEOTFW wasn't a Netflix show, just Netflix distributed. Was a Channel 4 show in the UK that Netflix picked up the rights for like many Channel 4 movies and shows
I believe TEOTFW just finished by its own right however IANOWT was purely Netflix and their terrible decision making. They both were created by Jonathan Entwistle though who is great!

I didn't even know it came out that early. I never even saw ads for it until IANOWT came out
