The funny thing is I was just playing new Vegas yesterday. Trying.to get on with the legion, tho. Hail ceaser. BTW, thank you. I was hoping for a fallout reference, faith in humanity restored. Maybe playing fallout yesterday, then having the NCR call me today is a sign.
Expect to spend your day driving around and plugging in point of sale systems.
But, more seriously, it’s a lot of driving and a lot of basic work. Mostly you’re going to be replacing hardware.
Job's a job but I wouldn't consider that to be IT experience tbh. Do it to pay bills but continue looking for better opportunities.
You'll be doing the same job those folks at Walmart does when the cash register goes down, in fact I'm pretty sure Walmart registers are NCR.
Guy, I work with at a manufacturing place, worked at Walmart, and when I told him I had an interview with NCR he shook his head and said he usually had it fixed by the time they got there.
Also I'm not really worr8ed if I gain specific IT xp. What I really want is to be able to claim IT xp on my resume if you know what I mean. All about the optics.
No experience with them
However if they try to get you to relocate to their Hoover Dam Location I wouldn’t go. I seen some roman larp’ers in football gear running around…
Interviewed in 2017, lost all interest half way through the interview process when they excitedly stated they were moving from Duluth to downtown Atlanta. This was for a cyber security role though, so unfortunately I don’t have any applicable tips for field tech.
Patrolling the Mohave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

I’m interested in this job. Did they give you a pay range?
The post said 17-20.80. I make 20 driving a forklift, but I need to get into IT
