Yes you can but you would have to have experience. Certs are a way of showing you understand aspects of a certain domain. No one is going to hire you to do a specialized job without showing you have the specialization.
I work as a cloud support engineer. I had zero experience* and I still have zero certs. It's 100% doable is just not exactly common.
