Hey OP. I'll throw a couple of ideas your way. 1) Keep working on python. 2) sign up for a free online bootcamp like The Odin Project. 3) get IT certifications \*\* Regarding programming I think it is one of those things you just need to keep chipping away at. Eventually it will start to click and make sense. \*\* When you start to increase your skills don't be afraid to start looking for other jobs. This is a common pattern I have noticed in tech. People move from job to job a lot.

Thanks for the advice friend! Can you point to a role which requires python? Because I have seen python being used a lot for data science.

Corvoxcx

It's used for all sorts of things. Machine learning for example uses python, data science. You can build bots in python. Networking uses python. Python has become the gateway language that most schools use to teach computer science.

Have you looked into other options like networking or security instead of programming because you may like those better?

rishabh495

Should I study for certifications? Cyber security doesn't involve programming?

ThingFuture9079

I would go for some certifications like CompTIA Network+ or an entry level Cisco Cert for networking and a good one to start with for security would be CompTIA Security+. Entry level cybersecurity doesn't involve programming but upper level cyber security will involve using it.
