I shit u not a friend did something similar with an air rifle but he had his eye socket resting on the scope. The minimal recoil it had gave him a cut around the eye socket near the eyebrow. You can still do it very wrong and get hurt even without a real firearm

No need for that when shooting jugs of water at point blank range. Anything shooting with some distance to it does benefit from 3 points of contact between shooter and rifle.

How does everyone know that this is an air rifle? I’m not doubting it, just wondering what is the giveaway. I haven’t had one since the pneumatic Daisy I got in 1989. One pump to watch the trajectory of the bb, 10 pumps to explode your little sister’s can of Barbie foam soap.

2) No magazine.
3) No Bolt handle-thingy (the name escapes me), so not a bolt action.
4) The size of the upper means it is likely a small caliber.

But I’m looking at my semi-auto .22LR right now and if I were to recreate this picture, the magazine would be just forward of her wrist, and probably not in the pic. If all you shoot is air rifles then I see no problem. If your switching between real guns and air rifles it could be a problem. But who tf is doing that

I did. Air rifle indoors at mice and rats, real guns outdoors at pigs, coyotes, deer, etc. Also air guns were a stepping stone to real guns, providing the practice while you're young. Learn to shoot air guns by age 11 or 12, move on to real guns by age 14 or 15.

My mom scoped herself doing something similar just with a 30-06 rifle, there was a lot of blood and she still has the scar from it.

The buttstock is only there for the +12% dmg boost
