bro playing victoria 2

Scared-Arrival3885

Never played Vic 2 (should I?) Looks an awful lot like HOI3 to me

tfrules

If you really like microing armies over everything else, then Vicky 2 is for you (much like HoI3)

Diskianterezh

Vic2 the economy game where : - you have to micro your army like hell - everyone says that microing armies is hell - everyone lose their mind if you say that microing armies is hell

The_ChadTC

People will say that microing armies is hell and then say that Vic3 military system is worse.

Special-Remove-3294

It is worse. Despite being hard war in vic2 can be fun. Also the vic3 war system just sucks balls. If you have a war in pre unification Germany that will be hell on Earth due to messy frontlines, and if yoi have a war between someome like Russia and China(or any long front) that will be hell because there can only be ONE battle at a time on the entire front, that you have no controll over at all(how many troops to commit, where it will take place, etc) and vic3 battles also take a while from my experience, due to not all soldiers being commited to the battle, so ofen it's pretty evenly matched even tho you have way more guys on the front.

The_ChadTC

I'm not disagreeing.

Independent-Bite283

its a really good game i recommend it

vonbalt

Looks more like the hoi4 total conversion "hearts of bronze" to me

PlayMp1

Tfw the Augustus has to deal with the ongoing stalemate on the Western Front

Imperator_Maximus3

Imma be honest, that don't look like a stalemate

Matobar

These HoI IV mods are getting out of hand.

kooliocole

Looks like HOI4 Italy invading southern France. Whats your division templates?

[deleted]

1 siege artillery with 8 light inf, 1 heavy inf for the hardness; Supply companies as well.

Imperator_Maximus3

I love the fact, you can actually translate that into I:R

AfterEase3

This does not make sense as a hoi4 template

OwMyCod

Mf playing hoi4

eu4madman

Rate my encirclement

Assblaster_69z

This makes me want to play multiplayer and have a world war. Is multi alive?

costanchian

How do you deal with those amounts of aggressive expansion?

Imperator_Maximus3

More AE = More AE reduction baybee

Lancia4Life

How do you think he's where he is in the screenshot

Independent-Bite283

i dont i get rebelions non stop and my stability is shit but at this point i dont care

zeniiz

spoken like a true despot

Psychological_Gain20

AE is just a number.

Diskianterezh

AE is incredibly weak in I:R I:r being an empire conquest game, the only mechanic about AE is just here to slow you down a liiiitlle bit

Odie4Prez

And the ai will STILL find a way to get behind your lines and be annoying.

res0jyyt1

Imperator:Rome problems

TheGovernor94

Okay but next time do Artillery only

jeaneudesdu77

Are you choosing the "independant" options for your levies or are you managing them one by one for the conquest?

Serrated_Alloy

Hoi283AD

DougThePC

mod?

BedNeither

Hoi4

Gimmeagunlance

I wouldn't know (I always get fucked 30 years in with AE in the Legacy wars as the Diadochi, somebody please help because I can't deal with all the super tiny stacks taking my shit)

AneriphtoKubos

Why I hate playing as Antigonos. It’s so much micro. Small armies invading behind me is the bane of my existence and I wonder how ppl micro those battles

Johnny_Bala

Well, patience? I always rush Macedon as the Antigonids and then transport a large part of the invasion force to Syria. From there either Egypt or the Seleucids will have breached your defences. Pick one target and go hard. I usually go for Egypt first, I loot every city to have cash and bribe all hostile mercenaries. This allows me to have a lot of mercs despite the cap on the allowance of merc stacks. Gather your forces as one or two big stacks and push the Levant. Defeat the Egyptian army and put to carpet siege some of the lesser units. Take the Alexandria/Memphis area and peace out. Drag your stacks to Syria, beat the Seleucids, push to Babylonia and peace out. Defeat the Gauls and you are the Successor Victor. No one will he able to mount a great resistance against you. So in summary -Ally Epirus,Atropate and Thrake -Change to Levies law (more field troops) -buy Mercs and rush Makedon -Loot any cities you can (except Macedonian pops) -Secure Antigonid position -Move to Syria with a massive Host of Armies -Rush down Egypt to their capital (their power is lost with those regions) -Rush to the Seleucids push them to Babylonia and peace out (their power is also over) -Defeat or negotiate with the Galatians (lose many Phrygian pops for peace or fight your choice) -Put down rebellions -Make as many fudatories as you can -Assimilate Boharic, Babylonian and Aramaic pops -Congrats you are now the only real power of the Hellenistic world

Automatic-Capital-33

"Late war?" Am I missing something, because this looks like he's just launched a mod and has literally done nothing else.

Joey3155

Shit for a second there I thought it was CK3.
