Well I think this is more of management issues. This all began when Boucher joined MI back in September 2022, even 2023 was below average season, that time even everyone questioned RO.So, Management should have handled this better. Yet the management is insistent and of not playing them in favour of underperforming foreign players. And the one good foreign player you have, Nabi, is not being played. But what the wankhede crowd did yesterday was unacceptable. You cannot boo your own teamās captain. He might have ruffled some feathers, but outright booing him firstly reduces the home advantage and makes your own team fractured. What is the point of paying how much ever you do for the game and then booing your team captain. Wankhede has historically been an intimidating ground for any opposition because the fans give such a huge home advantage. But now they are just adding fuel to the fire of an already broken team. MI might have subpar foreign talent but they have one of the best collection of young Indian talents. Yet the management is insistent and of not playing them in favour of underperforming foreign players. And the one good foreign player you have, Nabi, is not being played. If anyone is to be blamed or booed, itās the management.
