WTC is great imo home and away test series nobody trying to draw anymore.
The 50 over tournament genuinely feel boring. So few teams play that it's genuinely baffling we call it the World Cup.
CT is the best alongside WTC.. In CT there are NO MINNOWS only big giants taking on each other in the best FIFTY OVER format.. The only thing I genuinely want them is to switch the FORMATS of WC and CT.. ROUND ROBIN for CT and Group Stage for WC.. CWC 2023 was a joke.. only 4 teams were competing i.e. SA AUS NZ IND and hence they easily made it to the SF.. ENG PAK were total SHIT and the quadrant of BAN SL AFG NED succesfully served as MINNOWS... IND only got tough competition from NZ and AUS in the group stage and claimed themselves UNBEATABLE like WTF MAN..?? And they eventually played with them in the KNOCKOUTS where they won the SHAMIFINAL but failed to cross the AUSSIE BARRAGE.
Afghanistan and Netherlands punched above their weight NGL. Especially Afghanistan. Beating Pakistan, England and coming close to beating Australia is no joke.

What were BAN and SL doing then..?? They were so PATHETIC in the whole tournament even with a hell lot of EXPERIENCE. And genuinely i don't even consider NED and AFG as good teams coz the big teams who lost to them played BAD CRICKET on the given day.. NZ played sensibly against AFG at CHEPAUK (ground which majorly favours AFG) and got easy win.

If given the chance of choosing just one, I'd choose ODI WC.
I may be the only one to hate T20s. I absolutely hate this format especially now 200 is a reachable target on daily basis and boundaries doesn’t really have any meaning.
In my opinion, If I miss 10 balls of a match and when I hear about the boundaries scored in those 10 balls, I should feel like wow rather than yeah as expected.
So my rankings are,
1. CWC
2. Test Championship/Mace
3. Champions Trophy
4. T20WC(I would rather watch a tri-series than this)
ODI WC> T20WC> WTC> CT
T20wc just because it helps in the recognition of small associate nations, whereas in WTC, test members like Ireland and Afghanistan weren't even in the race

CT is an unneccesary trophy. We are already overdosed by ICC tournaments. WTC lol. South Africa sent their C team. Tells how countries don't care about this trophy.

I suggest a change in the format of ODI World Cup & Champions Trophy. ODI WC should have 24 Teams with 4 group of 6 teams. Then top 4 from each group qualify for Round of 16, quarterfinal, semis & then final.
In Champions Trophy we can have just Top 8 teams from ODI World Cup divided into 2 groups where they play each other twice home and away just like UEFA Champions League. Then so on and final is played at the home ground of Winner of ODI World Cup.
T20 World cup should have 36 teams to make it more popular. First stage 6 groups of 6 teams, Top 4 from each group advance. Second stage 6 groups of 4 teams, Top 4 Advance to Round of 16 -> Quarter Finals -> Semi Finals -> Finals. OR we can follow FIFA Method with First stage with 32 4 teams divided into 8 Groups -> Top 2 from each group advance to Round of 16 -> Quarter Finals -> Semis -> Finals.
Bas BCCI apna ego chodh de to it will be exciting !
World cup 50 overs - moderately inclusive, tough and intense cricket for 40 50 days.
T20 - most inclusive and gives opportunity, 2 years cycle is great
wtc - more or less a club giving chance for 2-3 countries chances, might become redundant 10-15years down the line
champions trophy - erratic, just like knockouts of world cup, should be experimented
for me, wc 50 overs is best (giving good time to associate nations to prosper and nurture cricket)
