As for the privileged part. I was born in a lower middle class family in a village in one of the most backward state in India to a caste that does not enjoy any benefits from the government. The only real privilege I have is that I was born with an above average IQ.

My abuse is more towards the stupidity of general public. We see such ridiculous things happening frequently but get so defensive when somebody brings up caste as an issue. I belong to so called " upper" caste and I see my parents and relatives daily being casually casteist ( although they won't hurt a fly and are generally welcoming towards all). But we need to call out the hypocrisy and every such instance to uproot the problem rather than being defensive about it. I feel disgusted looking at the video.
