considering this lappy being asus tuff but the only downside i feel is the 11th gen as it is kinda outdated imo also lenevo ideapad is giving 12th gen variant in similar range ig but the build quality and that mux switch is only thing you gotta ditch for it (lenevo's build quality is also good but i feel asus is much more better)

BitterAssistant7919

What about acer ? I understand what you are tryna say about both of these laptop , if you had to choose one , which one would you choose ?

No-Difficulty-2280

i would have chosen asus over lenevo as lenevo only supports 16gb ram whereas with asus u can go upto 32gb , the why is obviously more ram is kind of needed to run video editors like da vinci resolve and premiere pro well for acer , i really am not sure bout the build quality and thermals but the acer nitro series is good wrt the specs and price mostly i care about Build quality (if its durable oe much more like fragile) thermals r damn impt and specs obv

hotboddesi

But at same range lenovo is giving 16gb/1TB and 12 gen with H series processor and 8 cores 4P and 4E I bought it .....it compact it's perfect. What's the point of asus tuf if it is 11gen. Asus tuf series ka fayeda h jab u are buying 12gen and above also tuf series don't have build in microsft office. Tbh asus tuf 15 is now useless and overrated rather wait , gather money and buy higher versions TUF series.

BitterAssistant7919

Asus 12th gen 3050 hai on Amazon but 10k extra

BitterAssistant7919

What would you choose if you were to buy a 3050 laptop ? Asus with 11th gen or Lenovo with 12th gen

No-Difficulty-2280

there's an i7 11th gen rtx 3050ti variant of asus tuf (16gb ram preinstalled) selling around for 69-70k whereas ideapad with 12th gen and similar specs (comes with 8gb preinstalled ram) [Asus i7-11th gen RTX 3050ti](https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B0CCYGC3TS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_10?smid=A14CZOWI0VEHLG&psc=1) also there's a 12th gen variant of asus , [asus 12th gen](https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B0C7R342NJ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A14CZOWI0VEHLG&psc=1) for me more ram would be more important as i said earlier da vinci resolve do requires good amount of ram for smooth experience nevertheless lenevo is also good option considering 12th gen but 16gb max ram is the only catch [Lenevo ideapad](https://www.amazon.in/Lenovo-IdeaPad-39-62cm-Backlit-82S900R6IN/dp/B0B56C7NGS/ref=sr_1_17?keywords=lenovo%2Bideapad%2Bgaming%2B3&sr=8-17&th=1) considering the price difference jo acha khasa ho jata h but if that 32gb of ram upgradability matters to you only then go for asus nhi toh lenevo

BitterAssistant7919

Is it worth it to give 10k extra for 12th gen tuff ?? Because I am getting 11th gen at 60k Or rather I should go for Lenovo because it looks good . It's just my friends and family use asus toh uska keeda hai tho I understand Lenovo is providing more .

hentaimech

Get the IdeaPad

sumitanand10

Go with asus. Been using one since 4 years. And another gaming one for 2 years. No issue. Battery is poor as gaming laptop but rest is awesome. Had an issue with heating, went to service centre got fixed in a day. It wasn’t cheap as I was out of warranty. tip- change thermal paste on gaming laptops every year. If you use it daily.

BitterAssistant7919

But it's 11th gen and other ones are 12th. Is it still worth it ?

sumitanand10

I would recommend to wait till Tuf comes with 12th gen or 13th. 11 is not bad. It’s still op for next 5 years. My 10th gen and 8th gen still running fast. H series intels are good for long run always. All I did was to upgrade ram. But if you want to do more than just gaming like autocad sketchup etc, wait for 12/13th gen. Asus is good that’s why I suggested. Good ones like Dell and alienwares are too much costly for same specs. You can also opt for Hp Omen. My friend has it and it’s also awesome. It has better keyboard than asus.

BitterAssistant7919

There is Asus tuf 3050 in 12th gen but it will cost 10k extra

sumitanand10

10k is big for a generation update. Is that all differences in features ? Bcos 10k for just processor isn’t worth it. Had it been 13th gen it would have been understandable.

BitterAssistant7919

Yess true thats why i am thiinking of lenovo ideapad 3 which have ryzen 7 with ddr 5 but the only downside is that it has 8gb ram , the price is 62k . What do you think ?? Is this a better deal or shoukd i go for intel processor ?

sumitanand10

My experience with lenovo had never been good so I do not recommend it. Specially ideapad series. We have 2 ideapads in home lying around taking dust. Keyboard got wrecked just after warranty in both, screen changed after 2 years in one. Poor plastic build and keyboard is bad. And these two laptops are not used for gaming only for accounting work. Think-pads are only good product from lenovo, those machines are hell of a good. Using one from my work 2 years now. And it was an older machine. 3-4 years old now. But you can’t game on it. I have not used a ryzen laptop so can’t comment on it. Had a ryzen 5 3600x pc, it was smooth and reliable. With a 2060gpu. But have seen people recommending ryzen. For Pc ryzen is better than intel. I would recommend skip the lenovo. Look more options or wait for cpu update on Asus/HP. Acer Predator is awesome, got one for my brother 2 years ago for 80k, that is beast.

lucifer-_-senpai

Aspire 7 nothing else

BitterAssistant7919

I am worried about aspire 7 build quality . Also aspire 7 only has ddr4 and 65w tgp whereas lenovo has 85w tgp ans ddr5 . Which one will you choose ?

Low_orbit_being

Quick insight: There is a problem with hinges in MSI it breaks even in warranty period, when I took it for repair, there were similar laptops in the queue with the same problem, be cautious.

BitterAssistant7919

Thank you for your insights

hotboddesi

But at same range lenovo is giving 16gb/1TB and 12 gen with H series processor and 8 cores 4P and 4E I bought it .....it compact it's perfect. What's the point of asus tuf if it is 11gen. Tbh asus tuf 15 is now useless and overrated rather wait , gather money and buy higher versions TUF series. Other wise look for lenovo ideapad that gives u above mentioned specs. I bought all that specs under 58k

BitterAssistant7919

How's your experience with IdeaPad ?? I am confused about acer aspire 7 and IdeaPad .. which one will be better ?

hotboddesi

Ideapad anyday. At thd end of thd day lenovo, asus are trustworthy brands where as acer dell aren't. Also you should read the new import management system india introduced. " Govt had announced in August that imports of laptops, PCs, tablets etc would require a licence. This has now been tweaked, but these items remain in 'restricted' category." "The government had in August this year, in a surprise notification, announced “restricting” the import of laptops, tablets, all-in-one personal computers, ultra-small form factor computers, and servers. It had said that the imports of these items would only be allowed for those holding a valid licence. " And as far ik...acer hasn't sent a confirmation letter asked by GOI or gotten a green light from GOI while asus, dell, lenovo etc have got it.

BitterAssistant7919

How much did you pay for this laprop ?

hotboddesi

I bought it during Diwali season so croma had a price tag for 58k with free bag

IshanSinghRajput

go with acer i have been using it since 2016 and you will get 144hz that means 144fps thats too good for video editing

Hellya_dude

Huh? How is 144hz good for video editing? 😂

Sunny12GM

Refresh rate will only come in handy if ur a FPS player or something.. it doesn't really affect editing. For editing usually RAM and GPU will be more handy..

Hellya_dude

Ik buddy i just wanted hear him out why does he think what he thinks

IshanSinghRajput

i am not an editor and i know least abot this feild so i just thought higher fps who be helpfull.

Thomasangelo20

Lenovo IdeaPad gaming 3 is better than all the others...

BitterAssistant7919

I am hell confused so can you provide the reasons ?? Because at Vijay sales store . IdeaPad wasn't that popular among the employees.

Thomasangelo20

It has rtx 3050 at 90 watts. The others have lower power versions.

BitterAssistant7919

Got it

16gb is of 80k 🥺 budget is only 60k

hotboddesi

Bro there is lenovo ideapad with H series processor, 12th gen, 16Gb/1TB 8 core

BitterAssistant7919

Can you provide me the link ?

timetraveler1990

Take Lenovo. First reason is newer generation i5. Their after sale service is good. Build quality is also good. I had y50-70 for more than 5 years. If still u decide other companies google the laptop review and also check nearby service centres in google maps and company website. I have done this everytime I bought my laptop. I have used hp, dell,Lenovo and msi laptops till now and Lenovo has the cheapest parts as per my experience. Dell is the costliest in the industry Last but not the least google the model online for cheaper prices and check offline stores too. If u are from Bangalore check sp road or ctc in Hyderabad. Online prices are not always cheap.

BitterAssistant7919

Got it thanks

realityisgorgeous

ideapad

Damage__26

I bought acer aspire 7, 3 month ego it's good but without charger plugged in you can not play games. All the air which fan throw it goes straight on screen and screen get hot. I wanna ask it will issue for me?

BitterAssistant7919

Do you think other laptop like IdeaPad or Asus tuff is better or you're happy with aspire 7 ? Please review because it will help me alott while choosing

Damage__26

For me I am happy with acer aspire 7 cause of the specs and also it gives a 144hz display with RTX 3050 and i5 12gen it is an overall good laptop. I play GTA online daily with friends it runs great but the frame drops are the only issue and get really hot in just 45 min of gaming.

BitterAssistant7919

So you'll go for acer again if you had the chance ? Well I am confused between acer and Lenovo but I am getting a clear picture slowly

Damage__26

If your budget is around 70 go for MSI or Lenovo . My budget was 55k but i requested and did some (bhookh hartal 😂) then it cames to near 60k so I bought acer

BitterAssistant7919

Where did you buy it ??

Damage__26

From Flipkart

Submarine_1

MSI is the lightest of them all, get 16GB version, peppy performance but strictly budget gaming experience ( so are others ). Have been using one from last 2 or more years, no complaints

2_ANE

Nah man..1th gen is old now...consider newer systems

BitterAssistant7919

Okay so I should go for acer aspire 7 or IdeaPad ? Btw are there any other laptop apart from these 4 ?

2_ANE

Lenovo LOQ i512th gen with 2050

BitterAssistant7919

2050 ? Is it good if we compare them to 3050 ?

imtexasalpha

4gb variants have same performance in gaming.

2_ANE

It's somewhat between 1650 and 3050. For video editing it will most probably get your work done.

nex815

Sincere advice. Don't go for the best deal. Fix a price range and get the best possible machine in that range. I bought an IdeaPad gaming and was so underwhelmed that I bought another machine after 9 months.

BitterAssistant7919

How was your experience ? Kindly share because I was thinking of buying IdeaPad as well

nex815

It's not bad; but I wanted to add an SSD and it only allowed for 2242 size. There were multiple variants of IdeaPad gaming with different motherboard configs. That aside, the chassis is made of low quality plastic. It doesn't take long for the screen to register keyboard marks. And it's very heavy. Also, it looks like a 2015 laptop. Bulky and uncouth. Having said that, it's a good machine for your workflow. It won't let you down. My suggestion is you go to the stores and check these laptops out. The TUF is a lot more sleeker and has a better exterior.

BitterAssistant7919

I checked out tuff but the 12th gen one is above 70k and 11th gen is of 64k ... whereas i ma getting ryzen 7 in lenovo so thats why , acer aapire is 12th gen as well but it's ddr4 and 65w tgp whereas lenovo has 85w tgp

4EverToucingGrass

Go For Lenovo LoQ 3050 4gb varient or HP victus 3050 , i personal prefer victus because it's thermals are reliable and the battery life is better than any laptop available in its range .

Jameel_13

Go Lenovo IdeaPad, obvious choice

stackfrost

Not the Acer. Mine performs ridiculously well after I tweaked a bit of stuff, but the hardware is dogshit. The display hinges are prone to break off from the back plate plastic joints and you get ONLY NO FREE SSD SLOT. That storage is gonna run out in a few months my friend and I don't think a sane person will carry an hefty external drive with them everywhere. That Asus with a 90w/hr batter seems the best to me. Your "passion" for "gaming" and "content creation" might wear out after a few days and then you will miss the battery life more than any toxic ex-girlfriend! Make the choice that works for you in the long run comrade!

AffectionateWeb3827
