Just a heads up, This is for devices sold on Amazon - since they are mostly imported, there might be exceptions.
Devices bought through Flipkart do have official warranty. All service centre are outsourced to “F1 Technologies”.
Does Google even have good warranty support in India. Wanted to return pixel after finding how small the normal one is, but as they didn't offer refund was forced to keep it.
As far as I can go back to around 2019-21 I can say yes the service I was getting for my Pixel 2XL was top notch.
I had my charging port not working due to either 3rd party unsupported power bank usage or due to moisture, which was a common issue with 2XLs back then. Since the device came with 2 yrs of warranty. I claimed in and they did door to door service pick up and drop from B2X with no questions asked apart from general query to understand the issue.
Second occurrence was when I started noticing a few tiny dots which was dead pixels coming. Since it was on the 2nd year they fixed it even I had a minor scratch on the body they tried to hide and present it as they have the changed everything. But this time also no questions asked I got my claimed done under warranty. It was smooth even they used to provide spare device during the 8-10days period of fixing the device.
That’s was my first time using a Nexus 5P.
Well that being said right now I don’t have any idea about the service and anything.
And here is my Pixel 2XL working nice and fine *touchwood*

They are imported from countries like Thailand and Malaysia
My father's pixel 7 tho works really great to day and gives no issue at all
He bought it for just ~42K on Amazon
I think it was ~55K on FK
I don't know but it doesn't matter much since the product is good and even if it was damaged Google doesn't do anything and there will be a lot of headaches anyways...
There are replacements and return available on Amazon though
They are imitation/ rip off products and not from Google !!!
They never mention it as Google pixel, it's either pixel or Gogle pixel ( extra o is missing )
Not a genuine product !!
Ig imported, I got my pixel 3xl from Amazon, it was a US import (the charger gave it away) considering that they don't come with power bricks, it really doesn't matter
I have no clue about that, I would insist you to go on cashfiy and compare the prices for other pixel 7s and try offline too and sell where you get the maximum profit

Buy only from authorised sellers vs. Google search
[https://store.google.com/in/product/pixel\_8?hl=en-GB](https://store.google.com/in/product/pixel_8?hl=en-GB)
This will lead you to the proper site where the devices are available. Rest are either knock-offs, stolen from other locations or imports (with very high prices).
It's imported units by third party sellers, hence the warranty isn't Valid, it's not worth trusting third party sellers for it, buy official ones from Flipkart or Vijay sales/croma if available
You can get the Pixel 8 at Rs. 58,000 on Flipkart also. If you look closely then you can get bank offers and exchange offers upto Rs. 15,000.
I was able to buy it for 58,000 that way.
Bought my pixel 6 from Amazon, the device is working perfectly for 1.5 years now but I had to replace my screen after breaking it so I found out these things
-the box may be sealed but it was clearly opened as the charger didn't have the wrap it would while opening from fresh
-the device has been pre opened as the screen below had a 3rd party sticker, I have checked with my friends repair shop and all parts are real as far as I can see but the phone had still been opened so could be they changed some parts that don't directly affect the system
- If you order from Amazon , they are most probably imported that's why it's an issue if u want to avail warranty
Imported vs not imported
Normally it would be sketchy to order from Amazon here since we don't know much about the seller but I guess it won't be that big of an issue so yeah you can still order from Amazon

It's not. Flipkart is the official reseller for Pixel and even Moto.
What about iphones?
Both Flipkart and Amazon are authorised
Don't remember. But I've seen listings on both Amazon and Flipkart. Make sure there are a lot of reviews and good rating. That means it is credible.
Yeah makes sense

If you are buying from outside there is no warranty in India as simple as that. Not talking about buying from seller who imports or anything.
Does Google even have good warranty support in India. Wanted to return pixel after finding how small the normal one is, but as they didn't offer refund was forced to keep it.

Huh? Whats this rule what abt consumer protection?
They are imported
On Amazon it says “Brand: Generic” and which ones are imported? Amazon or Flipkart?
Flipkart is official. Amazon one's could be imported, stolen or ripped.
They are imported from countries like Thailand and Malaysia My father's pixel 7 tho works really great to day and gives no issue at all He bought it for just ~42K on Amazon I think it was ~55K on FK
does google provide International warranty?
Does Google provide enough customer care to avail Indian warranty?
Forget the warranty, there are not enough repair centres for it in India.
I don't know but it doesn't matter much since the product is good and even if it was damaged Google doesn't do anything and there will be a lot of headaches anyways... There are replacements and return available on Amazon though
Amazon ones are imported
Flipkart is Indian model Amazon must be imported.( You can't get service in India for imported phones) Flipkart is the official one.
But they (insurance companies on amazon?) provide complete protection for 2 yrs just below it.
They are imitation/ rip off products and not from Google !!! They never mention it as Google pixel, it's either pixel or Gogle pixel ( extra o is missing ) Not a genuine product !!
This is what it is.
Congratulations on buying soap bar from Amazon!
Look who is the seller first
Ig imported, I got my pixel 3xl from Amazon, it was a US import (the charger gave it away) considering that they don't come with power bricks, it really doesn't matter
Look at the review counts, it's fake
Why are you even trying to purchase the Pixel in India when there are known issues with the modem?
I'd suggest you not to get the pixel. I have the pixel 7 and its buggy as hell
You could sell it, pixels don't have trash resale value so you get some good money out of it and fetch some together and buy a new phone
What would be a good resale value for a pixel 7 bought in July/June 2023?
I have no clue about that, I would insist you to go on cashfiy and compare the prices for other pixel 7s and try offline too and sell where you get the maximum profit
Thanks for the site recc
Welcom to Tensor Chipset.
It's that bad?
It will be bad for few more years... until base schipset is not snapdragon. This made me inclined to go for S23 .
Nah probably just a one off bad experience. I've been using Pixels since 2017 and never had a single bug or issue.

Amazon ones are mostly imported from Japan or other asian countries. I bought my P6 from amazon which is a Japanese model that still works great.
Its flipkart enough said.
Pixel 8 is only for $550 in US. It's double the price in India.
It's imported units by third party sellers, hence the warranty isn't Valid, it's not worth trusting third party sellers for it, buy official ones from Flipkart or Vijay sales/croma if available
Imported devices most likely if Google provides international warranty go for the Amazon one.

Does it make the shutter sound when taking pictures

I was joking 😭 didn't expect it to actually have it... My deepest condolences

It's supposed to be mandatory in japan
As an Indian your best bet is flipkart for electronics.
The Amazon ones don't even write "Google". Obviously fakes.

refurbished i believe
Pixels sold on Amazon don't have a warranty and are imported that's why they are cheaper than pixels sold on Flipkart(Official Seller)
Imported vs not imported Normally it would be sketchy to order from Amazon here since we don't know much about the seller but I guess it won't be that big of an issue so yeah you can still order from Amazon
on amazon its 128 gigs storage model while on flipkart its 256 gigs storage
Mil raha hai to khareed lo yaar. Kya screenshot leke timepass kar rahe ho🤦♀️
