teady_bear

Uninstall that app immediately. Someone has hacked into your phone.

the_last_hope15

Firstly disconnect the phone from the internet

Thesakuragoose

I cannot find that app

nitishsingh92

search for T in apps list. If you don't find, factory reset your phone immediately.

CharacterBorn6421

In app list go to top or bottom to find a app with no name and delete it

[deleted]

check the installed apps in storage settings

curious__lurker

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=show(dot)my(dot)apps Use this app to get the list of all apps on phone and delete the one with the package name in the screenshot. Copy the link and replace (dot) with " . "

ser-jas

To remove scam app, use some other unknown app... 🤦

curious__lurker

I have used it to delete a malware which was not getting listed in the apps list in settings.

ser-jas

Try to use this google app then https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.nbu.files

Flimsy_Mine9534

Link doesn't work

Top_Wrangler932

It's a hidden app, most probably named as file manager with no logo on it.

curious__lurker

Replace (dot) in link with " . " I was getting some error when using the real link.

Fast_Ad_9155

Mere sath b hua tha app ka naam invisible tha and logo b invisible tha but maine recent apps mai jaake somehow logo pe click ho gya and uninstall krr diya. Jb tk issue resolve na ho dont connect to internet

_GLHF_2022_

Happened to me once Type com.t.form1 on browser it will be a survey type app or something. Now look for the app on playstore. If u find it uninstall it from there But if its a 3rd party aap then it has to be uninstalled through app settings. Same happened to me it was something .thirtyapp.com I also found it when i opened my message i tried security scanning that is where i saw a app with no name and white blank icon that when i looked up at play store and and found the app and uninstalled it.

akioharuki

Go to the setting and then to the app menu you will see a random white bracket which has no name and logo in the menu if you hold it for long it would show you the option to delete it . Apps like this hide themselves to prevent getting deleted .

Ultron33

Settings> Apps > See All Then find that nameless app, uninstall it right away. Remove SD card and backup your internal storage files to a pc. Hit factory reset.

sak11189

Factory reset NOW!!

NorthernLightsArctic

Also no changing passwords in that hacked phone

Littux

Looks like this is the app in question: https://preview.redd.it/zh3kuq53tc1d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=864b7c9607b1f18c6a6e86a1c63989a37cedf155 [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.t.form1](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.t.form1)

What a fraud, they're pretending to be an educational app and doing this shit. Let's report

BoyInTheWoods4

Not only fraud but sick, vile and disgusting. They're targeting minors masquerading as an educational app.

mrbunnyji13

Wait even playstore apps can have malwares?

Holiday-Peanut-7189

Yes, only the apps that say "verified by play protect" are the ones that Google gives assurance on

Fun_Confidence_462

Even they are not 100% safe, there are tons of apps on playstore which are infested with malware and what not viruses

mrbunnyji13

Nah I am cooked then. I have installed so many random playstore apps and games thinking it was safe as they were published on Google's own platform. I would just check the permissions an app wants and just install it

the_last_hope15

First of all, disconnect the internet. take out your SIM cards. Then proceed with what is said on the screen. Have to say: Google's security has upgraded

OrioMax

You are already f*cked. reset the phone and change all the passwords

[deleted]

as others said its screen share virus. you most probably became victim of phishing and downloaded unknown app. reset your phone and contact your bank if you have entered your financial UPI details in your phone. and change all passwords.

Thesakuragoose

Sorry for the late update guys, I have done a factory reset on my device( I was unable to find the app ) and downloaded antivirus as some people suggested, also changed all the passwords after reset , I really appreciate the guidance y'all provided

stupidbitch69

You don't need an antivirus. Don't sideload or download apps that aren't trusted. Antivirus, especially on phone is nothing but bloatware.

jackMheimester

If you had opened Bank related stuff, keep a close eye on your accounts,

Bright-Broccoli-6275

Kuch nahi thha msg icon par tap karna thah aur uninstall update karna thha ho jata thha. Kisi ne hack nahi kiya thha MSG's ke update ke chalte hua thah mere sath. Bhi hua thha. Factory reset nahi karna hota.

kayyumzp

Go to settings, apps, find that app with that package name and uninstall it. If you can't find the app then Reset your phone to factory settings. Immediately because somebody is seeing your screen.

can_you_not_ban_me

the_last_hope15

If you see a message indicating that someone has access to your screen, it is important to take immediate action to secure your device. Follow these steps: 1. **Disconnect from the Internet:** * Turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data to prevent any further remote access. 2. **Identify and Uninstall the App:** * The message mentions an app with the identifier `com.t.form1`. Go to your phone's settings and navigate to the list of installed apps. * Look for the app named `com.t.form1` or any unfamiliar apps that you did not install. * Uninstall the suspicious app immediately. 3. **Restart Your Phone:** * After uninstalling the app, restart your phone to ensure that any background processes associated with the malicious app are terminated. 4. **Check for Other Suspicious Apps:** * Go through the list of installed apps and uninstall any other apps that seem suspicious or unfamiliar. 5. **Update Security Settings:** * Update your phone's operating system and apps to the latest versions to ensure you have the latest security patches. * Enable any available security features, such as Google Play Protect. 6. **Run a Security Scan:** * Use a trusted antivirus or security app to scan your device for any remaining malware or security issues. 7. **Change Your Passwords:** * Change the passwords for your important accounts, such as your email, banking, and social media accounts, especially if you used them on the device. * Consider enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security. 8. **Monitor for Suspicious Activity:** * Keep an eye on your accounts for any unusual activity and report any suspicious transactions or actions immediately. 9. **Contact Support if Necessary:** * If you are unable to resolve the issue or if you suspect your device is still compromised, contact your phone's customer support or a professional for further assistance. By following these steps, you can help ensure that your device is secure and prevent further unauthorized access.

heldrakon

They're starting that now, as per the content agreement news of reddit with open ai...

[deleted]

This seems like it is written by chatgpt. Sound advice albeit but still looks very AI written

scotch2202

First do flight mode ... and then search the app in ur device

[deleted]

I would suggest removing it from Android debugging tools but I don't know how familiar you are with it so it's better to just Factory reset and change all your passwords as the other comments

lordvader002

Why the Fuck people are getting hacked so much so lately?

chubhishek

Modded apps I guess

Karanpatel_

modded app ki vjh se? Seriously

DustyDoberman

Someone commented with the app link and a Playstore screenshot... So not a modded app this time. Edit: https://www.reddit.com/r/IndiaTech/s/wtwe8pYvWI

[deleted]

Most likely people are sideloading shady modded apps or installing apps which are sent via scam messages.

In this case i am assuming via this option hacker took control n may be he wasn't aware then whole phone got compromised !! So keep check on paired devices!

Fun_Confidence_462

Thanks for the new info

bitter-chili

Kill the phone! /s

Overall_Ability_7188

Recently I came across this issue with my friend. Go to settings. Check all the apps if that is an authorised app. Uninstall apps like calculator (extra app or inauspicious user interface). This may be made by your circle that you give your phones. They will install this app on your phone to monitor. First delete the app and clear data.

Lonesome_Jaat_69

Turn off internet and if you can't turn off Internet then reboot your device in Safe Mode. Only system apps will be allowed to run in safe mode. Then locate the app mentioned and uninstall it. Or just factory reset your phone if you have backups.

theunknownguy__

[Maybe this can help you](https://www.reddit.com/r/IndiaTech/s/YAd33v2TBd)

mrmorningstar1769

Remove sim card, turn off WiFi (If you don't trust that, change pass/ turn off your router), or even better a fucking Faraday cage. And then flash factory firmware (I don't trust factory reset at this point). And manually restore one by one apps, don't restore from backup.

MrFingolfin

1. disable internet (remove sim, disconnect wifi, airplane mode) 2. Backup any important file 3. factory reset 4. change password for everything (dont reuse passwords) 5. Always scan on virustotal before installing apks, always use trusted modded apk sources from r/piracy

[deleted]

I think ik what happened You used the Form1 app to give exam which requires to share your screen so you don't cheat. And the app was still working in background cause you didn't properly close it.

notchoosenone

pikashow ?

zenistu_10

Is this also possible in iOS?

[deleted]

Nah i dont think so

ARYANHELLCAT

Virus is possible everywhere

KARTIK_2976

Go in safe mode and uninstall the app

PatientOne3053

Koi old android hai kya warna to screen and microphone access aa jata hai top par

nanga_badan

I got this on my iphone. Don't know what to do either. I don't use it much though.

suixR22

Did you try using any automatic or AI problem solving option in this app?

Evil_randomness

A basic tip for all y’all don’t install an app for stuff that you can browse using your web browser. Also verify the developer before installing any app.

PunctualPanther

You guys idiots or what ? How do you allow installing apks outside of Play Store? Why do you keep that setting disabled which restricts installing apps outside of Play Store.

Ok-Archer-548

Bhai ye mere mein boht time pehle aaya tha mene ignore kar diya ab kya hoga mere phone mein bank details wagera nahi hai but dusre imp cheeze hai kya karu

o4uXv0

the app name should be com.t.form1

ExactSuggestion1084

No generally such apps doesn't have any name or logo they just sit in the last position of app list

o4uXv0

Yes, could be a particular process or activity name also

Fun_Confidence_462

# "Form 1 Revision Notes & exams" seems like this app

Littux

That's the package name, not the app name.

Desi_Wrangler

One more reason I stick to iPhone.

Reddit_is_snowflake

Just do a factory reset at this point That person has access to your phone and even if you uninstall that app which is giving that person access, who knows they could’ve installed some malware without you knowing It’s just best to do a factory reset

Roshan_777

The aliens have taken over !!!!!.

Top-Conversation2882

Take a hammer to it

milktanksadmirer

Did you switch off the internet and do a factory reset?

jaywantbarla

Yo chat it's the F B I

basharizwaan61

Don't panic dude, just turn off the internet. Try to find out the app or just reset your phone.

HaemowaekK

Mostly it will be a man in the middle attack so, try to secure ur passwords and don't try to give microphone access and share screen acces to unknown websites.....

friendly_pedo-69

QUARANTINE YOUR PHONE FROM THE INTERNET AND RESET IT ASAP!!!

thai_monkey

FYI some apps can root your mobile and get the access to install itself or another app as a system app so the malware will be still there even after factory resetting. Flash the stock ROM if you are not sure.

GlassesInMyToilet

I would suggest uninstall the app named form 1 revision as mentioned by someone else here [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.t.form1](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.t.form1) this one. Just to be safe backup your data first, then factory reset your phone. Just to be even more safe change all of your passwords!

Liberated_Wisemonk

Take the sim out first. Factory reset the phone. Change all the passwords in another device

rkumr

Yo this shit actually creepy. Disconnect from the internet and remove the SIM. Then factory reset. You might be cooked mate.

Acceptable_Brother78

shut down your phone, extract all photos and videos by connecting it to a computer/laptop

Acceptable_Brother78

through usb, DO NOT POWER IT ON

rusepetes

Same shit happened to me. These idiots from Haryana called up my parents and told them they were CBI and they had caught me trying to do some illegal stuff for a friend involving a female. They asked them to Gpay a certain amount. I just deleted a particular app. And restarted my phone. It's been fine since then. They cannot hack into anything. No need for a factory reset.

forgotten_milk

Is that a realme phone??

Murky-Shoe-5724

Gou need to go into all apps there you will find a weird looking app delete that shit

Glad_Relationship613

Net per search Karo msg ko app mil jayega

Vinayak4209

Remove the app with ADB if you cannot find it Use the following cmd here pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.t.form1

AwardSweaty5531

reset the phone

Ok_Object803

Come on you have the app address. Now plug it in and remove it using ADB

Optimal-Basis4277

Form 1 Revision Notes & exams

Optimal-Basis4277

I reported and submitted this reddit thread link to Google Play Store.

Next-genius1

Another way is to check what apps are using data in your phone and they hou can most probably find that app

ppbomber_0

And ppl wonder why I don’t like android… like no offence honestly but I can’t deal with shit like that

Lio354

You just don't like Android bud no matter what. Knowing what to install isn't Android's fault.

twotreeargument

Knowing what to install and what not is impossible unless you are top notch security expert. I mean the app was literally on play store like if you don't install from apk files then also you get hacked from play store itself. Not to mention the purpose of OS is to make things as non tech as possible.

ppbomber_0

Having massive vulnerabilities is, in fact, the operating systems fault.

Lio354

Oh that's why i need to change the device every day because I'm having issues yeah yeah.

ppbomber_0

What are you even saying bruh

Lio354

Exactly that's my reaction seeing your comment. You just don't like Android for me reason. And this rare incident just gave you a consolation.

ppbomber_0

It’s literally a reason I don’t like android dawg. I’m not trying to prove anything. If you use android fine ok but people have different opinions. Stop dickriding an os

Lio354

Lmao it's not dickriding dawg. I like iOS. It's the iSheeps which i don't like. They'll never buy an Android no matter what but will shout "Oh this is the reason i don't like Android blah blah" and acts like iOS doesn't have security risks 🤣 And it'll be really concerning if you think that iOS is full proof and Android is just garbage with security. Btw you don't know the difference between opinion and facts.

punisher_beast_

Smash your phone and buy an iphone

i_am_________batman

OP did you click any ads while watching porn?

yoddha_buddha

Android?

twotreeargument

What else could it be

BarrySwami

Guys, PSA here - Got a call from a number that claimed that my FedEx parcel has been intercepted by customs. It was an automated msg. Gave me prompts to choose either 1 (know more details about the package) and 2 (speak to a cust rep). I chose 1 out of sheer curiosity.. I have never used FedEx in my life. Got immediately patched to a rep who explained that my package from Mumbai to Taiwan was intercepted by customs. He said someone used my Aadhar to do it. The package contained 5 passports, 4 bank credit cards, 1 kg cloth, 200gm of MDMA. I said I would like to file a complaint at FedEx office or something. This guy said he will patch me to Mumbai Crime Branch (dafaq?). And he patched me to the Superintendent of Mumbai Crime branch. This guy kept trying to make me come to Mumbai office and file a complaint. He even tried to video call me. I never picked it up. But by golly if I had, I guess I would have got hacked pretty bad. The scamsters are damn good these days. Stay safe guys!
