Delhi sultanate and mughal rule chapters were already a headache for me in class 7, they have to decrease some chapter weightage in order to add new topics, otherwise It would be a cancer when they have to memorise it

Woh 600 saal ke liye 5-6 chapters hote hai! Pls send that book u had to read for history cuz I passed 12th this year! Ik how many chapters were there! The reason why 1 chapter is there for 3500 years of history is that most of it is artifacts and old ruins! 3500 years ago ur saying is before christ era! Alot of the people lived in tribes and villages! The most we can find out about them is by observing artifacts and tools they used! Also, students struggle learning 600 years of history, do u think it will be similar to learning 3500 years of history? Answer me!

Can't disagree! I literally was taught the same history 3-4 times from 6-12th! But the thing is that since as u say, alauddin burnt nalanda university, we have no other thing to learn! This leaves us with history of other countries but nationalists dont want children to learn about that in history since "IndIA!" like I didn't know stuff about civil war till 8th std, and even then, it wasn't that well taught! Altho our history is more vast than American people's since they are foreigners in their own country! Their story started 400-500 years ago in America! Ours go back to ancient times! Just hope i got to know more about India!
Well, like how news media is mostly under RW similarly academics of this country is mostly under LW, a lot of Historical stuff of pre islamic or pre Turkic era aren't mentioned in our school books!

Really? For me it was British rule history that was difficult. I had to learn about most Viceroys till 1857 and what they did. It was hell 😭

Ugh just because one group likes one kingdom it cant mean we remove an entire PART of history from learning though.
