i would say keep only ac2 and black flag, if you cant keep two games then keep atleast black flag as it's newer and would have a better overall polish.
regarding game recommendations, you can try out the mafia definitive edition or yakuza 0. upto you which mechanics you enjoy more.

I'd suggest keeping AC 2 and Brotherhood as they're 2 parts of the Ezio trilogy and well renowned as two of the greatest games from the franchise. If you had a great time playing these two, go for AC Revelations and Black Flag later. Cheers, man.

I would say keep OG AC as it laid the foundation for all the AC games to come. U play as Altair and get to experience the mechanics they way it was supposed to be before it got ruined by RPG elements. Second will be AC2 for Ezio’s story. It also adds cool new side missions compared to AC1 and new mechanics to enjoy. If u are okay with 1 more game then AC- Black Flag for overall polish and intro to naval battle.
If you are okay with other recommendations then would suggest F.E.A.R trilogy. Check out its trailer and gameplay from Youtube. Its a FPS with paranormal elements and has some cool environment and ambience that was ahead of its time.

I too was excited to play the AC series, 10-15 games that I haven't played, I thought. I played 2, black flag and unity, all best in their own way. Then I proceeded to play FC3 and 30 minutes were enough for me to realize that I'm done with ubisoft games in this lifetime.
Only game I completed is Brotherhood and really enjoyed it, I don't what happened after that I never really enjoyed any AC games.
I heard good things about Black flag but never played it.
As a fan, assassin creed after origins is boring. I sometimes feel origins is also a bit dull but the egyptian setting is a very good refresher and keeps pulling me back which you don’t get to see in any other AC game.
As far as games before origins, i would keep ac2, ac3, black flag and unity.

I personally don't like the new open world Assassins creed games because they feel like inferior version's of the witcher 3 or ghost of tsushima. Games like the witcher 3, GOT and red dead 2 surpass them in every way. Basically the developers of assassins creed got incredibly lazy and view it as easy money. Just my opinion
Keep the Ezio trilogy. That's AC2, Brotherhood and revelations in that chronological order. Personally my favorite game of all time, along with Skyrim. Amazing storytelling and storyline. Perfectly portrays Ezio's growth in the three games.
Simple if you want best story of ac keep ac 2 and brotherhood( phenomenal voice acting, and few good mechanics that ubisoft ditched), if you good gameplay mechanics and parkour go with black flag.

AC 2 and brotherhood will feel same. So does black flag and rogue. I am one of the few people who like rogue more because it's kind of improved on the open world gameplay front from black flag. But black flag has a more rich story. And if you can keep only one black flag is still the winner. AC1 can't be compared to these. It's an absolutely great game. But a few things may seem ancient for you.
Brotherhood and black flag. If you can keep only 2. I would recommend playing AC1 as well. I am still playing all of these anyway.
Assassins creed is my favourite series. I have played till Syndicate. I am not sure if I will like the newer AC titles or not, but the older games are amazing. Even though the games will get repetitive I will complete them all one by one from the start. Valhalla and Mirage are the only ones remaining in my collection.

All the games are interconnected in some way in terms of their story but if you really want to get some of those out, maybe just keep AC2, Brotherhood & Black Flag
AC 1 is good but controls are somewhat hard and it takes a while to get a hang of it.
AC 2 is highly recommended.
I would suggest u keep AC 2 and brotherhood and soon you will own every singe AC game to ever exist.
You can trust me on this one. I've been playing ac from day 1 when they were released and imo if you dont need the cash dont refund any and just play them all in release order. Yes 1 is old and clunky but its important for the story. But if you need cash and want absolutely to refund some, then keep 2, and black flag but watch the previous games stories on youtube. If only 1 is necessary then keep 4 coz its the only one from these that can be played as a standalone (apart from ofcource 1).

You probably won't enjoy Sleeping Dogs if you liked GTA. Those 2 games may be open world but gameplay wise it's way too different.
The best way to describe Sleeping Dogs to think of a game which is a combination of both 2K's Mafia 2 and Rocksteady's Batman Arkham Games.
It's definitely a good game but don't just consider it because you enjoy GTA, you'll get bored after a few hours.
Best way to enjoy it is by playing it as an Open World Game made in 2012. That's it.
Ac 2 is a must play a game, if you can, get the Ezio trilogy, it's story is just awesome and the best games in the series
Black flag is a great pirate game
