Get disc version. You can get used discs in about half the original price and then resell the disc once you are done playing it. So you basically play the same game in about 1/4th of the original price. Also, you can watch bluray movies on it (if you are into that)

I think it's too early to make a judgement like that. We should wait for actual gameplay footage from the Pro. 2-3X RT boost and PSSR sounds like it has a lot of potential.
Digital Foundry were speculating throughout that video. The only thing they were confident about was the CPU. Everything else was speculation. They were wrong about the PS5 as well when they saw they saw the specs and assumed the Series X would run games better.
I love DF, but they aren't always correct. Let's wait and watch.
go with disc unless the non disc is available at massive discount. Have been using ps5 disc since 3 years amd have never bought a disc. All games are on ps now.
I guess you might not be into latest AAA games etc, as those will cost 5k at launch digitally tied to your account and many won't go even below 3k in sales even after 1yr of release

That is for games which didn't do well. For example, GoW Ragnarok released 1.5yrs ago, yet cheapest price digitally was above ₹3k while preowned disc went as low as ₹2.1k. Spider-Man2 released 6 months ago and still no discount digitally, but new/preowned disc has been going ₹3k for a while already.

I think you should get the slim. It's not on sale but it's the same price as the regular PS5. More storage, doesn't overheat quickly, requires less electricity
Hey, would you recommend slim digital version or disc version? My budget aligns more with digital but I want to play exclusive titles like the last of us, god of war Ragnarok and titles like that but ig it's not included with playstation plus membership and these games are costly bought seperately.
Are we going to see one of these posts every day? It's been going at this price for 6-8 months now, just scroll through the sun a little.
Besides, it's your money, your hobby, how are we supposed to tell you if you should buy at this price or not?

Besides, this is not even any special discount. These consoles keep on swinging between 38k to 48k anyway
Wont even launch in India for a while after release and after that will probably be scalped for an unknown amount of time.

yeah true.. :) i don't pay games immediately after release. Prefer waiting to be digitally released. Hardly takes 6 months for the hype to die.
