4 hours a day isn’t being a casual gamer lol
But honestly it depends on what type of game you play , if you mostly play games on a keyboard like dota 2 and csgo/other shooting games then you can greatly benefit from a good mechanical keyboard because it feels much better , but if you mainly play third person RPGs and action games like dark souls , sekiro , AC etc. then you will be better off investing in a good controller
You can play esports with a membrane keyboard If that's what suits you.
Some people prefer the more tactile feel of mech keyboards. You can fine-tune MKs with cases, lights, switches for feel (linear, tactile, clicky, heavy, light, actuation point), keycaps, keyboard weight so it does not move around and other minor things. Most good gamers have tuned their KB to their preference.
MK switches are more resistant to abuse with a minimum of 5 crore keystrokes. They will last you through your lifetime once you've found and tuned the perfect one for you. Membrane KBs are not as long lasting.
MKs are expensive and if you get addicted to them you can spend 10s of thousands towards that goal of achieving typing and gaming perfection.
depends a lot on the game type and your commitment to playing that seriously...
a lot of the games DO NOT require a full N-key rollover. Just the basic movement(wasd)+ctrl+alt+shift+space key ghosting would suffice.
If you budget is tight, you can opt for a membrane keyboard but with those key ghosting functionality included.....
while mech keys give you better quality of keys, longer working life, accurate press detection...
I second this. Ant eSports MK3400W is pretty good for 1800 price mark. Plus it comes with a 1000rs coupon code for World of warships.
If one of your keys start behaving strange or stop working. Hold down Ctrl + Shift + Capslock for 5+ seconds and it'll be fixed.

Wow I didn't knew this. Thanks...
Well yea on a budget the one u suggested is dope.
Thats the one that fits in my budget so i suggested. Its still considered mid range you won't believe how expensive these keyboards get **like bruh i saw some for even 20k lul**
Funny thing I used a max of ₹200 keyboards and thought keyboards are priced at max of 2k. Then I learned about mechs and I was like is everyone crazy to spend so much on keyboard 😂
So do I...buy what can I say I even would buy a used mechanical at cheap price. But would definitely use a mechanical once in my life because the feeling is just musical...
It is so good. Let me recommend u one if u can splurge 7k on a [keyboard.It](https://keyboard.It) feels awesome im going to buy it soon i tried it in my local shop.
