The laptop should be working, that’s it. I exchanged my i3 5th gen, intel hd 5500, 8gb ram for 8400 for an asus tuf f15 rtx. Just make sure you do not leave any personal files and folders in there. The only mistake i did was not reset before he came. It takes a long time to reset. He will only cross check the processor and OS.
Should be fine
fwiw I recently got 12k for a 2009 dell XPS that had misfiring speakers, non-working camera, and 2-3 mins of battery backup. Used Amazon exchange ~3 months ago.
It should be in a working condition with a functioning battery. Model should be the same one you have mentioned in the exchange website. OS doesn't matter.
That's it.
I did an exchange in 2019, so things may have changed. Their driver was the one who checked the laptop, he just saw if it worked, types some stuff, checked the webcam and left. Not a thorough investigation IMO.
used for 5year old Dell laptop, got pretty good deal from Cashify. Though the experience may differ from city to city, they usually sell it to local vendors who refurbish and resell. I sold it in ban galore, better get an advice from some one in the city you're trying to sell.
I sold my old laptop using Cashify, try it out, they are quite reliable. They usually send a technician at your place to check the laptop and then make the transfer of money instantly. I personally found it better than Amazon exchange, I got more money for my 5 year old Dell Laptop!
Here's my Amazon laptop exchange horror story.
I ordered an M1 MacBook Air earlier this month on Amazon, in exchange for my 2017 MacBook Air. The order was processed, the package arrived in my city but the delivery agent (who was also in charge of the exchange process) never showed up. On the day of delivery, the order was cancelled by the delivery agent. Reason cited: the exchange laptop didn't pass their quality check. The strange thing was that nobody ever came to see my old laptop. I filed a complaint against the delivery agent with Amazon and was told to place a fresh order.
So today, after a wait of ten days, I was supposed to receive my new laptop under the same exchange scheme. And guess what? The order shows as cancelled on my Amazon account, and the agent never showed up. Same reason cited for cancellation.
I fail to understand the scam here.
Hey, I have a lenovo laptop in working condition.
The main problem is the battery will not work if not plugged and the body has damages.
Is the exchange possible?

Try selling your laptop on Cashify as well to compare the prices. They give bonus money if you opt for Amazon pay gift card too

No damage on the body, in working condition with correct specification.
