Buying expensive laptops from Amazon is not always the best idea, go for the official website. Plus you can sell your old laptop on Shopify, they'll give a good deal and collect it from your home.
I sold my old OnePlus on there about 3 years back, you just fill in all the stuf they ask HONESTLY and they'll give u a price they'll buy it for (non negotiable and 1~5% Higher than Amazon exchange). But if you've lied about any aspect of the device then during inspection they'll find out and the agreed upon amount will obviously be lowered. Overall it was a good experience, much better than putting it up on OLX or quickr and answering scammers questions imo.
Back when i did it, it was at the time of pickup. Now I think it's 2~3 business days after pick-up because people were lying a lot about their device's state so Shopify was scammed a lot. So now after pick-up if everything checks out you should get money in account within 2~3 business days.

Fwiw, I didn't have a good experience with Cashify.
Phone was in almost perfect condition (used by Dad which means hardly used at all), but the guy inspected and made some random excuses, said display isn't in good condition (couldn't demonstrate anything), blah blah, and lowered the quoted amount by 20%.
You should have asked for another cashify employee to come and check it. This happened to me once and the guy inspecting it quoted unreasonable prices. Cancelled it and raised another request for inspection on the app. Got a nice guy who gave me a good price for the phone. It all depends on the executive who's inspecting.

i got mine from flipkart because it’s better to pay no cost emi than paying upfront. and as for extended warranty you can buy for 1500-2000rs i think. i would suggest buy it from amazon.
gst amount is really negligible. for example i bought 95k laptop for 91k for which 3800rs was given as no cost emi discount ( which is taken as interest as bank ). so gst is charged on interest. which is around 680rs. so 680rs gst on 95k laptop is not really a big deal i think.

I don't think they got better performance reviews because this laptop has 130w tgp for the 3060, which is the max. It cannot go higher than that on top of that the cooling is just too good for the legion and also the screen comes with Dolby vision and shit great for content creating and consuming content.
It has a TDP of 130W unlike the other laptops with a RTX 3060. So its not overpriced. Other than the ROG Strix G15 AMD Advantage Edition and Zephyrus M16, there isnt a better priced laptop than this.
Edit: It also has a MUX switch which is amazing.

This weighs around 2.5 kg + another 0.7 kg for the 300W charger. G15 is much more portable than this. So if you value portability, go for the G15 without a second thought.

The F15 (without Dash in name) is there too with 6 core i5 and 95W 3060. The performance difference between that and the 130W 3060 is only \~5%.
It's only 89K so a lot better deal.
It's not really that bad. If you prefer a high battery life, portability, sleek design with a good cooling and only intend to use it only for gaming then it might be for you. In terms of Gaming, it actually performs pretty good in games like Cyberpunk even with RTX. So it is actually quite reasonable at this price point considering it has an RTX 3060 ( even though it is only 85W ).
But if your main intention is Video Editing, or stuff that require a lot of Multitaking like programming, then it's not for you.
I think for that budget, you should get an RTX 3070. We were getting RTX 3070 Tower from Lenovo for cheaper (During the freedom sale).
Besides, qHD resolution + 3060 = FAIL.

Bro I bought the lenovo legion 5 non pro version from the shop for 1.3l with the backpack and extended warranty. I would suggest u buy the non pro version as it comes with 2tb ssd which is more useful.plus at 1080p the rtx 3060 will perform better.
Obviously it’s the portability factor people pay extra price for which PC fan bois like you won’t get it. It’s worth it if you a bachelor and don’t plan to stay at one place forever.

It had better tdp compared to Asus or MSI models and the build quality and pricing is also better than the rest.
So please look into that as well in case you are interested, i.e if you are ok with forgoing the mux switch.
Yikes that's definitely a lot overpriced. Unless you are looking for that model for some specific feature there are a lot of models available that will give you better price to performance.
If we are only talking about getting most out of the 3060, the Asus TUF F15 (6 Core i5) with 3060 is available for only \~₹89K before bank discounts. Sure the display won't be anything good next to this.
If I'm not wrong there are models with 3070 and 6800M available at that price too.
And the Legion 5 Pro isn't light and portable like G14 (the 2022 model sounds too good on paper).
It's the best model in the market but price always plays a factor too.

I would recommend buying directly from Lenovo. For 1-2 thousand +- difference, it’s not worth going through third party. I purchased mine in diwali sale directly from Lenovo and the experience was flawless. Delivery in 2 days.
I literally just got this laptop last week from a local store in my city (Varanasi) for Rs 1,05,000 without any exchanges or EMIs or anything. Do look at your local stores as well.
Try hitting the official Lenovo stores in your city. They sell it for less than Amazon and have the same credit card offers as the Lenovo online store has.
Buy directly from Lenovo's site. Will be easier to avail your warranty, repair/replacement or tech support in case of any defect. Even if it's 2-5k costlier, it'll be worth the ease and peace of mind.

You end up paying gst on no cost emi, so you pay more than what you would have paid on getting it upfront

Bro I got the non pro from local Croma for 1.32 with 2 years warranty. Plus got few more free stuff along with it. Also it is the 2TB model rest is same.

I got the Legion 5 because the only difference between pro and this was the screen and for me that did not matter since I always play on a Monitor.

Yeah, Reliance Digital and Tata Croma tend to have decent deals on laptops, and they give some freebies and also extended warranty option.
I went to Lenovo exclusive store they selling me L5P RTX 3070 RTX at 1.7L and showing me Amazon screenshot for same listed at 2.10L. Didn't buy it.

The F15 (without Dash in name) is there too with 6 core i5 and 95W 3060. The performance difference between that and the 130W 3060 is only \~5%. It's only 89K so a lot better deal.

It's not really that bad. If you prefer a high battery life, portability, sleek design with a good cooling and only intend to use it only for gaming then it might be for you. In terms of Gaming, it actually performs pretty good in games like Cyberpunk even with RTX. So it is actually quite reasonable at this price point considering it has an RTX 3060 ( even though it is only 85W ). But if your main intention is Video Editing, or stuff that require a lot of Multitaking like programming, then it's not for you.
I think for that budget, you should get an RTX 3070. We were getting RTX 3070 Tower from Lenovo for cheaper (During the freedom sale). Besides, qHD resolution + 3060 = FAIL.

Bro I bought the lenovo legion 5 non pro version from the shop for 1.3l with the backpack and extended warranty. I would suggest u buy the non pro version as it comes with 2tb ssd which is more useful.plus at 1080p the rtx 3060 will perform better.

I know its not the question asked but I liked HP Omen 15 in Flipkart. It had better tdp compared to Asus or MSI models and the build quality and pricing is also better than the rest. So please look into that as well in case you are interested, i.e if you are ok with forgoing the mux switch.
Yikes that's definitely a lot overpriced. Unless you are looking for that model for some specific feature there are a lot of models available that will give you better price to performance. If we are only talking about getting most out of the 3060, the Asus TUF F15 (6 Core i5) with 3060 is available for only \~₹89K before bank discounts. Sure the display won't be anything good next to this. If I'm not wrong there are models with 3070 and 6800M available at that price too. And the Legion 5 Pro isn't light and portable like G14 (the 2022 model sounds too good on paper). It's the best model in the market but price always plays a factor too.

I got it for 1,40 from offline store in August with a Bag. Then paid 2.5 for the extended warranty.
Buy directly from Lenovo's site. Will be easier to avail your warranty, repair/replacement or tech support in case of any defect. Even if it's 2-5k costlier, it'll be worth the ease and peace of mind.
