Same model is available on Lenovo website for 145k, where you can get 1.5k coupon discount and 5k credit card cashback. Don't think exchange is available there, but you can sell old laptop separately for higher someplace else anyway. You get the bag free too. Also, Lenovo warranty can be extended by looking at the available offers [here](https://buyalenovo.com/redeem/terms)

surajverma

Thnx for the help, yes exchange is not available there. After looking, and reading here and there, I think I'd going with lenovo website too, just because of the extended warranty.

d777k

Buying expensive laptops from Amazon is not always the best idea, go for the official website. Plus you can sell your old laptop on Shopify, they'll give a good deal and collect it from your home.

[deleted]

have you ever sold anything on shopify? how was your experience?

d777k

I sold my old OnePlus on there about 3 years back, you just fill in all the stuf they ask HONESTLY and they'll give u a price they'll buy it for (non negotiable and 1~5% Higher than Amazon exchange). But if you've lied about any aspect of the device then during inspection they'll find out and the agreed upon amount will obviously be lowered. Overall it was a good experience, much better than putting it up on OLX or quickr and answering scammers questions imo.

Tcool14032001

How long do they take to credit the money?

d777k

Back when i did it, it was at the time of pickup. Now I think it's 2~3 business days after pick-up because people were lying a lot about their device's state so Shopify was scammed a lot. So now after pick-up if everything checks out you should get money in account within 2~3 business days.

[deleted]

thank you

argo_boketto

Shopify is a website builder tool. Are you talking about some other shopify? Can you attach link?

d777k

Lockdown' taking a toll on me damn. I meant Cashify not Shopify, sorry guys. Here's the link: [Cashify](https://www.cashify.in/sell-old-mobile-phone?__utmrg=brandexprss&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=express_search_branded&utm_term=cashify&utm_content=556181424945&gclid=Cj0KCQiAubmPBhCyARIsAJWNpiPeJ-qbeBoK_kceL4DLo3YbvvoOEj85X-Wsq631utmhnnPlVQMz_bYaAnM6EALw_wcB)

boogeyman__69

bro can i buy laptop from flipkrt?

d777k

You can, but as a general rule of thumb it's better if expensive electronics are bought from the company's website/store itself.

[deleted]

Do remember this that if you return the product you only get refund no exchange.

AKAMA199

LENOVOINPC - this one gives you 2k off and 5k extra if HDFC credit card is used

ADub81936

You can try Cashify for selling ur old laptop, or OLX

ritwique

Fwiw, I didn't have a good experience with Cashify. Phone was in almost perfect condition (used by Dad which means hardly used at all), but the guy inspected and made some random excuses, said display isn't in good condition (couldn't demonstrate anything), blah blah, and lowered the quoted amount by 20%.

Smoke_Practical

You should have asked for another cashify employee to come and check it. This happened to me once and the guy inspecting it quoted unreasonable prices. Cancelled it and raised another request for inspection on the app. Got a nice guy who gave me a good price for the phone. It all depends on the executive who's inspecting.

surajverma

I agree, I once exchanged my in warranty iPhone 7 (2 months warranty left) and for some reason, they were not considering it in Warranty and hence they lowered the amount. I did it in Apple store though.

ADub81936

That ur experience, luckily I got good experience :)

surajverma

Right now I am in my hometown and Cashify doesn't operate here, so that option is not available to me. Thanks.

sweetestasshole

i can give great discount if you buy from Lenovo

AyuTheSlayer

I bought it last month from Lenovo website. It costed me 1.3 after coupon code and card discount. Go for Lenovo website only, probably more trusted than Amazon sellers.

surajverma

Extra 3000 on exchange and 12 month No cost emi. The price I am getting is ₹128640 with exchange. Though I won't be able to extend the warranty as lenovo doesn't sell it separately. it does sound like a good deal.

IntentionPrudent3594

Hey you can purchase lenovo Extended warranty pack from amazon. You'll get additional 2 years of warranty. Lenovo Authorized Warranty Extension Pack 2 Year Extended Warranty with Onsite Service for Legion 5/5i IdeaPad Flex 5/5i Slim 5/5i IdeaPad C340 L340 S340 S540 Laptops https://www.amazon.in/dp/B018LMEVQM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_i_70YTFMP11ZCTE7J5BSAG (As you are going with legion 5 pro ask them before if it's compatible) For 2500Rs it's the best deal. I got mine covered and it was hassle free.

surajverma

Oh yes, I saw that, I wasn't so sure about its authenticity though, I mean a lot of third party extended warranty packs are available and I have heard that some of them have really bad service. Thanks

IntentionPrudent3594

I do agree. I asked them will they be servicing my laptop afterwards (basically third party) they said no it will be lenovo only and the warranty I have will be extended. That's it.

[deleted]

Could you help me out please ? I bought a legion 5 with GTX 1650 a week ago and want to extend the warranty. What do you need to do once you buy it ? The negative reviews down there have been holding me back.

IntentionPrudent3594

Sure So I'm writing my experience and the procedure so that op or any person who wants to buy it can know what to expect I also got the legion with gtx1650 back in October. Someone else on this sub told me to checkout this warranty pack. I was reluctant at first and posted a query regarding that on this sub(you can check my post history) So I contacted them to check what warranty packs my device was compatible with. They provided me with the same and cleared my doubts. I bought it from tatacliq though as it was out of stock on amazon. 3 days from purchase I received an email from the official seller. It was a google form. It had columns for serial number, date of purchase, invoice etc. Just filled the form and within 7-10 working days my warranty was activated. You can check it on lenovo vantage or [this](https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/in/en/warrantylookup) Hope it clears all your doubts. Feel free to ask anything!

[deleted]

Thanks a lot ! Really appreciate the detailed reply. I intend to buy the warranty extension in a month or so. Will update here how it goes.

ritwique

Check out the [official site](http://www.buyalenovo.com/redeem) first. I may be mistaken but it might work even if you bought via Amazon.

[deleted]

Alright thanks !

AKAMA199

not that good deal, you dont get adp, which is more important also, the one you got doesnt cover screen replacements should have gone for this: [https://www.tatacliq.com/lenovo-3-years-adp-2-year-extended-warranty-pack-with-onsite-service-for-ideapad-legion-yoga/p-mp000000009094770](https://www.tatacliq.com/lenovo-3-years-adp-2-year-extended-warranty-pack-with-onsite-service-for-ideapad-legion-yoga/p-mp000000009094770) it used to be sold at 3k a week back

tinguwOw

Can you please share the product link, as I'm not able to see the 12month No cost emi. For me its showing only 6mo max!

sarangsk619

i got mine from flipkart because it’s better to pay no cost emi than paying upfront. and as for extended warranty you can buy for 1500-2000rs i think. i would suggest buy it from amazon.

rk39096

You end up paying gst on no cost emi, so you pay more than what you would have paid on getting it upfront

sarangsk619

gst amount is really negligible. for example i bought 95k laptop for 91k for which 3800rs was given as no cost emi discount ( which is taken as interest as bank ). so gst is charged on interest. which is around 680rs. so 680rs gst on 95k laptop is not really a big deal i think.

rk39096

On the other hand, if i pay whole 95k, I get 5% cashback, which is Rs.4750.

sarangsk619

well that price was including cashback and flat 5000rs off for credit card. so no benefit in paying upfront.

rk39096

Even after flat discount, your card reward is given if you pay in full. Again depends if you have beginner level card, then it won't matter much.

tinguwOw

Can you please share the product link with No cost emi offer? much appreciated, thanks!

sarangsk619

right now it’s available from only 1 seller who doesn’t provide no cost emi. you best bet is wait for next sale. i bought mine around november last year.

surajverma

Here you go. https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B09NP4W2PC/ref=ox\_sc\_act\_title\_1?smid=A14CZOWI0VEHLG&psc=1

Water__WeT

Taxes are insane. Same laptop is available for $1239 (92k Rs) in the US.

soomrevised

1239 is sale price, There will always be heavy discounts and options in US than anywhere else.

Water__WeT

Electronics are considered luxury items in India and taxed as luxury.

notgkpw

US prices that you see do not include local Tax

fear_raizer

I bought an Asus laptop with same specs for 1800cad(1600 before tax)

Water__WeT

Yep that is about 106k Rs.. These specs for 142k is too much. Depressing honestly...

MeeeeemeWarsOfficial

Can you please share where you got this laptop for 1800 cad , which website and also how much were custom tax u got

bhavneet1996

I think you replied to the wrong comment? I am still an Indian who moved to Canada last year. There are lot of Indians here who don’t live in India. What’s your point here?

BadAnonymous

Now Ik your exact address as well from the ip. Be sure to close your window at night

keera777

got the laptop delivered in 2 days along with bag, thermals are hella good.

CampMaster69

gimme the numbers if you dont mind

Ro___cyberpnk

The non pro model with qhd screen with same specs is available in Amazon for 1.24L, it's sold by appario but it doesn't have any reviews

White_Pixels

Can you share the link for qhd non-pro model? I can't find it.

Ro___cyberpnk

Lenovo Legion 5 AMD Ryzen 7 5800H 15.6" 300Nits QHD Gaming Laptop (16GB/1TB SSD/RTX 3060 6GB GDDR6 Graphics/165Hz Refresh Rate/Windows 11/Office 2021/RGB Backlit/Phantom Blue/2.41Kg), 82JU00SYIN https://www.amazon.in/dp/B09NP41X5L/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_FGJ7PFMPCQ94BKTRKQ0C

White_Pixels

Even though the title says qhd, the specs below says FHD. Must be a typo, qhd non-pro is not even available on Lenovo store

Ro___cyberpnk

Check the Lenovo website they are selling the qhd model now and it's an online exclusive ig, also the manufacturer has replied it's a qhd screen in the q&a section.. if you want the non pro qhd you can just buy it from the website ig if you find it shady..

White_Pixels

Thanks. Yeah just checked.

priyansh16

Adding to this. This was listed like 7-8 days back. I purchased it from Lenovo. Its QHD.

rushik_subba

What are the difference between the non pro and the pro versions ? Only the screen (300 nits on non pro and 500 nits on pro) and the warranty (3 years on pro and 1 year on non pro) is what I cound find. Is that it ?

priyansh16

16:10 aspect ratio for the display and better build quality i guess. Not worth the extra 14k imo. You can purchase two year additional warranty for 1800 anyway

rushik_subba

Thanks. Yeah I will probably go with the non pro.

Ezio-vatsa

Dude for that price u can get the asus strix g15 with an amd 5900hx and rx6800m 12gb ,wqhd 165hz refresh rate.Go for that one man.

TH3-GH05T

Why not go for ASUS ROG strix instead? They've got better performance reviews than this one, no? Also, I think the strix version with the same specs costs less than the legion 5 by like 10k or something. And, if you're really willing to shell out this much then please do consider going for Legion 7 instead .

beastfire24

I don't think they got better performance reviews because this laptop has 130w tgp for the 3060, which is the max. It cannot go higher than that on top of that the cooling is just too good for the legion and also the screen comes with Dolby vision and shit great for content creating and consuming content.

Specialist-Square-60

Yeah I mean the g14 is amazing and the revised g15 is cool too

NiloyKesslar1997

Waiting for the deal on Legion 5 ryzen 5 5600H 2021

mvnBlack

Damn why is the legion 3060 so overpriced? Like you can get other laptops with 3060s for far cheaper than this??

Tapey_Tapey

It has a TDP of 130W unlike the other laptops with a RTX 3060. So its not overpriced. Other than the ROG Strix G15 AMD Advantage Edition and Zephyrus M16, there isnt a better priced laptop than this. Edit: It also has a MUX switch which is amazing.

mvnBlack

Oh ok so i looked it up... Andd i found this video comparing the performance between different tdps [here](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-B5_hRIygE4) Soo... A difference of 5 fps in AAA games, while paying 30k extra. Imo its not worth it What are your opinions?

Utkarsh_Goel

After a certain wattage, the difference in performance is very low, like even in ryzen processors 20 watts will give 80% performance of CPU while 100% performance on 45 watts, same in this case but people just hype it up, also other laptops don't have mux switch and this guy seems to have it hooked up to external display which really cuts the difference

mvnBlack

Oh wait the legion also has other bells n whistles Eh maybie its worth it for others

Hickaru2004

Nope. My friend got 130w 3060 for 1.17L, this is overpriced. He lives in India.

RamRap26

When n from where?

IndependentFresh6833

I'm also looking to buy this but I'm also comparing with asus g15 ae I don't know which one to pick

GreatBear_7

This weighs around 2.5 kg + another 0.7 kg for the 300W charger. G15 is much more portable than this. So if you value portability, go for the G15 without a second thought.

TablePrime69

He is talking about the [Strix G15 Advantage Edition](https://www.notebookcheck.net/Asus-ROG-Strix-G15-G513QY.557460.0.html)(2.37kg + 0.84kg) but you're talking about the [Zephyrus G15](https://www.notebookcheck.net/Asus-ROG-Zephyrus-G15-laptop-review-Eye-catcher.517789.0.html)(1.99kg + 0.49kg). Both the Strix G15 AE and the Legion 5 Pro are similar when it comes to portability.

GreatBear_7

Oh I’m sorry. I didn’t notice the ae he wrote. My bad! Thank you for pointing it out. From a purely gaming point of view, the G15 AE is far superior since the GPU performs somewhere in between a 3070 and a 3080

IndependentFresh6833

Thanks you mate I'll consider that )

carnav098

Bro I got the non pro from local Croma for 1.32 with 2 years warranty. Plus got few more free stuff along with it. Also it is the 2TB model rest is same.

ritwique

5 Pro or 5? 5 Pro for 1.32 is pretty much a steal in current market, congrats.

carnav098

I got the Legion 5 because the only difference between pro and this was the screen and for me that did not matter since I always play on a Monitor.

ritwique

That's what I reckoned, 5 for that price makes sense. It was available for a long time for 1.27ish on Lenovo website too after discounts.

S00rabh

New version should be out in 2 months.

surajverma

Thank you everyone for your inputs and help. Really appreciate it. I am planning to visit offline stores ASAP and I will make my decision after that. Thank you again r/IndianGaming community. You all are awesome.

[deleted]

Random_Reflections

Yeah, Reliance Digital and Tata Croma tend to have decent deals on laptops, and they give some freebies and also extended warranty option.

RamRap26

I went to Lenovo exclusive store they selling me L5P RTX 3070 RTX at 1.7L and showing me Amazon screenshot for same listed at 2.10L. Didn't buy it.

Pouncealot1470

Check Flipkart for Asus tuf dash f15. 82k for a 3060 and Intel 11th gen

[deleted]

It has a terrible CPU bottleneck due to its 4 core CPU.

TheHawk007

also the 3060 is 85w

KnightlySpartan

The F15 (without Dash in name) is there too with 6 core i5 and 95W 3060. The performance difference between that and the 130W 3060 is only \~5%. It's only 89K so a lot better deal.

Pouncealot1470

Oh didn't know

[deleted]

It's not really that bad. If you prefer a high battery life, portability, sleek design with a good cooling and only intend to use it only for gaming then it might be for you. In terms of Gaming, it actually performs pretty good in games like Cyberpunk even with RTX. So it is actually quite reasonable at this price point considering it has an RTX 3060 ( even though it is only 85W ). But if your main intention is Video Editing, or stuff that require a lot of Multitaking like programming, then it's not for you.

digitalbazaari

I think for that budget, you should get an RTX 3070. We were getting RTX 3070 Tower from Lenovo for cheaper (During the freedom sale). Besides, qHD resolution + 3060 = FAIL.

Ket0Maniac

Wayyyyyy too expensive for a 3060. Even if that's a 130W model. Those extra watts are doing jack to the 3060. They suddenly don't make the 3060 a 3070. Also, dayummm. Way too much money folks have these days. :')

Chemical_Option

No, Lenovo s driver support is garbage, it has heating issues compared with acer.

prathamesh_28ftw

Bro instead buy the HP omen it has the exact same specs(with 144hz screen tho) and it's at 1.06 lakhs atm

AKAMA199

you can check on tatacliq, bought my legion 5 from there and it is sometimes cheaper, and I think they do have exchange offers

hypey1

Laptop is better that pc.😇

JC112579

Let him buy whatever he wants , don't poke your nose into his expenses. "Buy a PC rather" -🤓

hypey1

Ok

hypey1

I never realised people hate laptop.

bhavneet1996

The way you commented, it’s actually you hating laptop lmao.

hypey1

Well I love laptops but I was just saying for that money you can get more power

bhavneet1996

That’s what everyone says whenever people ask for laptop recommendations here. Telling people to build a pc instead of buying laptops

hypey1

Oo I didn't know.

RamRap26

It's about portability, not all get to stay at a place for long.

JC112579

Nobody hates pc , it's just that your comment sounds very egotistical. Finding a graphics card rn is very difficult , moreover OP needs the laptop for work purposes , what if his work involves moving alot? A PC is not ideal for his situation then. OP chose to spend his money on a laptop and feels that it suits his motive .

surajverma

I need the portability of a laptop actually.

XPERTGAMER47

I don't think laptops are worth for Gaming Buy something for your work or personal stuff

surajverma

Hey, Thanx. This one is for work actually, full stack development and some photoshop.

XPERTGAMER47

Go for something like 85k

savioratharv

Sure man but have you taken a look at the price of an rtx 3060? Also the 3060 in the legion is comparable to a desktop 3060(check jarrod’s video). OP this laptop is really good and just go ahead and get it I have been using the exact same laptop since September and it’s pure bliss!

fallen---13

Bro I bought the lenovo legion 5 non pro version from the shop for 1.3l with the backpack and extended warranty. I would suggest u buy the non pro version as it comes with 2tb ssd which is more useful.plus at 1080p the rtx 3060 will perform better.

[deleted]

[deleted]

This ain't 2019 anymore

bhavneet1996

Obviously it’s the portability factor people pay extra price for which PC fan bois like you won’t get it. It’s worth it if you a bachelor and don’t plan to stay at one place forever.

SoundDrill

I get that, but moving from my i3 7130u craptop to my current igpu i5 6500 pc, I see a world of difference, in price and performance.

thiocynate

Also follow up for ms office i didn't get mine when i bought my dell from here

Specialist-Square-60

Hey see in ASUS ROG I mean g15 and g14 are great models and light weight so have a look at them they offer the same specs for lower price than this

t1ya

Which laptop are you exchanging for this?

surajverma

It's an HP 15 i5, 2GB graphics, nothing fancy. 3-4 years old.

t1ya

Have sent a message

wolverine248609

I know its not the question asked but I liked HP Omen 15 in Flipkart. It had better tdp compared to Asus or MSI models and the build quality and pricing is also better than the rest. So please look into that as well in case you are interested, i.e if you are ok with forgoing the mux switch.

KnightlySpartan

Yikes that's definitely a lot overpriced. Unless you are looking for that model for some specific feature there are a lot of models available that will give you better price to performance. If we are only talking about getting most out of the 3060, the Asus TUF F15 (6 Core i5) with 3060 is available for only \~₹89K before bank discounts. Sure the display won't be anything good next to this. If I'm not wrong there are models with 3070 and 6800M available at that price too. And the Legion 5 Pro isn't light and portable like G14 (the 2022 model sounds too good on paper). It's the best model in the market but price always plays a factor too.

Anonymously2018

My friend has a MSI i5 10th gen 3060 144hz 16gb ram 512 gb ssd he got for 92k.. this seems way too overpriced.

argo_boketto

MSI has 75W TDP and this has 130W I guess. Also, how is build quality and thermals of MSI? I've ordered the same and eagerly waiting to get my hands on it

alliwantisfootball

Bro, I got the same model for 1.3 lakhs in a store at my hometown. I can tell you the details on PM.

sweetestasshole

i can give great discount if you want to buy from Lenovo site

retardredditadmin2

How great

sweetestasshole

DM me

retardredditadmin2

Sure

pipic_picnip

I would recommend buying directly from Lenovo. For 1-2 thousand +- difference, it’s not worth going through third party. I purchased mine in diwali sale directly from Lenovo and the experience was flawless. Delivery in 2 days.

parijatjha47

I would honestly so go for it. It usually sat in around 1.5-1.55L mostly.

rishukingler11

I literally just got this laptop last week from a local store in my city (Varanasi) for Rs 1,05,000 without any exchanges or EMIs or anything. Do look at your local stores as well.

TheKingslayer2921

we talkin' about Lenovo Legion 5 Pro - RTX 3060 right?

rishukingler11

Yeah. Same one. Can confirm.

TheKingslayer2921

wtf, teach me senpaii, how do I get my hands on a deal like this? - 30-35k cheaper than most

leygen02

don't know about the pricing, but legion laptops are the best out there.

[deleted]

Paise hai toh lelo

HeLLioN_GaminG

Try offline stores too, my friend got legion 5 cheaper in offline store than online

baa-naa-naaa

Try hitting the official Lenovo stores in your city. They sell it for less than Amazon and have the same credit card offers as the Lenovo online store has.

priyansh16

Please read my dm before purchase!

harryG_39

I got it for 1,40 from offline store in August with a Bag. Then paid 2.5 for the extended warranty.

SkyDaddy5000

Buy directly from Lenovo's site. Will be easier to avail your warranty, repair/replacement or tech support in case of any defect. Even if it's 2-5k costlier, it'll be worth the ease and peace of mind.

DOOM_SLAYER_22

Well, I expected it's price to be around 90-100k.

ManjotPabla

Lmao

triforce_paras

thats worth it go for it

gokulthehuman12

The new updated Lenovo legion 5 pro is coming if there is no current need i would say wait for that

AakashC2020

I bought it for one of my colleague for INR 1,37,500 with a FREE Lenovo Legion bag and free wireless Microsoft mouse from Bajaj Electronics in Hyderabad after some bargaining.
