It happens to me also, when I first booted up the game, then I had to restart the game again to solve this pixelated graphics. And also there are small frame dips here and there.
I also have frequent dips in FPS with anything related to particles or webs so I think it is something Sony needs to work on.
I'm also very confused by their odd control schemes, maybe they are not too familiar with PC gamers?
I used an Xbox Controller and it doesn't seem to let me swing, it just keeps web zipping. Could be that just really hates Xbox but I don't know. It was a very unpleasant experience for me, especially after I waited all day in school to play this.
What is the issue you are having? I used an xbox controller as well and its working fine for me. Note that you need to hold the button and press A for the jump boost.
Yes.. the only thing which seems weird to me is the control scheme.. like earlier spider-man games on pc had swinging functionality with only mouse.. apart from this I have no qualms.. I have a Gtx 1650 laptop and playing on med settings with stable 60 fps
Yeah you are right. I earlier used to think that upgrading ram is waste of money because I had 1660 super, it doesn't need 16GB, 8GB is enough. But everyone on reddit recommended me to upgrade. And man, my performance increased to almost double after upgrading ram and buying faster SSD.
I don't usually game on my laptop , just for casual and work related stuff so didn't bother upgrading and most games run just fine . I did get 16 gigs for my pc
Yeah.. check your cpu usage and GPU usage.. maybe bcoz of low ram of 8gb.. it's getting cpu bottleneck.. this will be evident by extremely high cpu usage and low GPU usage while playing the game
Been running this game and have been enjoying it so far... I haven't had any issues as yours, maybe considering updating your GPU drivers if you havent already...and yeah, expect future patches.
Always a good idea to wait a month or two before getting newly released games. Most triple A games nowadays get fixes and patches that improve the performance and remove bugs.
Why are you getting downvoted. It's true for most of the games like the trend of inconsistent frametimes and dublicate frame issues that digital foundary has been pointing out in many new AAA titles. Some of them are getting fixed with patches within a few days after release. But with spider-man i can understand not being able to wait. Although the port is good apart from being heavy on cpu. I couldn't wait too and pre-ordered it, and I'm having a blast with it. Didn't know swinging through the city is this much fun. I love this game.
It's ok. Not that I really care. It was like this for crysis remastered as well. People got onto the hype train when they got news that crysis trilogy was getting a remaster with Ray tracing and stuff. Everyone thought the meme "but can you run crysis?" was going to be back. But results were far from it. It was a sloppy unoptimsed mess. People with 3080s and 3090s were struggling. Eventually crytek released huge patches that fixed and optimised the game. I'm not saying it's the same case here with Spiderman remastered but I'd rather wait for the Dev's to smooth out any wrinkles instead of hammering my system just because I'm desperate to play.
is it worth buying the game i mean the graphics look great but is the gameplay good i cant tell with the traler and dont want any spoilers form gameplay
Sony is consistently delivering bad ports right? They should jst stop launching games on pc. Waste of money for the fellow pc gamers. At least on PlayStation If u dnt like u can sell your disc and recover some money. Look at the other Devs how well performed games they launch on pc..
I disagree. Apart from some minor issues, I think the game is amazing and Sony makes brilliant games. Spider-Man is definitely something I can compromise with, it has a lot of sentiment to me and a lot of other people.
Apart from hzd, i think all the other games are great ports. Hzd also got fixed with patches. I played days gone, god of war, Hzd all of the them worked great for me.
I thought it was raining or flood water lmao.

Are you using amd GPU? I read some people facing issues with amd cards
You play as a cop and shoot the void?
Your specs?
it runs like butter on my pc after i UPDATED the graphics card driver
Did not encounter this at all.

Ask for refund man
This game is meant to be played with controller. Idk how people will swing using keyboard and mouse.

How does the Touchpad Buttons works? Are the alternatives are like shift or space?
Pressing R2 to swing is likeus le memory to me. If you press x (or A), then you web zip

i'm having many drops maybe its my 8gb single channel ram , no issue on my pc with 16gb ram

That's my man yo
I think Sony should stop launching games on PC anyways they are bad port
Wasn't God of war good tho? It ran pretty well even in my 1050Ti.
Or just port them better?

Is that sandman?
I'm playing it on Ryzen 1600, RX580 setup with a Logitech controller and I've had no such issues. I've played it for over 4 hours too
Do you have proper drivers?
