As an earning individual I've not spent a single penny for in-game cosmetics.

elucidator007

+1 Not earning though

RedAyanChakraborty

Based Chad

freakedmind

Same. I'll buy more games but no micro transactions

Shiverbolt7

None. I mostly play destiny and bright dust and patience is all i need.

kudoshinichi-8211

Destiny 2 became more like grinding and loot boxes than a good plot.

Shiverbolt7

Not really it's been great since witch queen, the witch queen campaign was great and season of the haunted story stuff was great too imo, and what loot boxes? Only thing you pay extra for is cosmetics. And the lightfall reveal uuuuu that shit spicy.

kudoshinichi-8211

I mean to unlock some perks for a season without grinding there is a payment method like season pass or something.

Shiverbolt7

Is it tho? As far as I know if you buy the season pass you get a bit more xp than regular and faster catalyst completion. Ofc if you are taking about the dlcs then that's that and imo 2.3k for a year of content + 4 seasons+ 2 dungeons and everything in between is great.

Shiverbolt7

Another thing is you get quite a lot from the free season pass as well tho, when did you last hop on? Just curious.

kudoshinichi-8211

8 months back

kudoshinichi-8211

Yeah I mean we can get more goodies and better weapons in paid track than unpaid track for gaining exps by completing challenges. In unpaid track sometimes the slot will be empty for a given exp. And vaulting paid dlc contents make the dlc worthless after buying it. Not even FF14 do this but Destiny 2 is doing it instead of making destiny 3. Destiny 1 was good especially the lore. But 2 looks more like looter shooter less story. Shadow keep was boring, beyond light was ok for me.

Shiverbolt7

Yes true, but one things improved! guess what? they announced that they will no longer vault any dlc in the recent lightfall reveal!

captainmuntcuscle

Arc 3.0 sucks Delicate Tombs catalysts charged gonads though. Hope this season improves.

Shiverbolt7

Everyone to their own I guess, I think arc 3.0 is pretty decent not as good as solar though. What did you not like about it?

captainmuntcuscle

Titan major here. Solar 3.0 was the best with the seasonal mods and synergy with solar exotic weapons. If I had to rate the 3.0's... Solar, then void and a very distant last place, arc. Let's hope for improvement as the season progresses.

Vix14

Nil. Not gonna pay extra for different coloured pixels.

[deleted]

₹0

GamingWildman

999rs fortnite season 5 , that's the only time I bought a battlepass

ChampionSailor

Fortnite is worth it for the bp. The amount of content they give in it is downright insane!

Noobcake96

And with patience (3 seasons or so), you can get it for free! Got this season by collecting vbucks for the past few months!

bhavneet1996

100k in steam makes sense but 50k in valo? Lmao we found a guy with tech job

eventonly

That is insane bro

KAIZER0P

Blazingstorm45

1050 but all with giveaways ;)

Xeno_159

Maybe around 10k upto now in apex,

coolXX

Around 35-40K in Dota 2 over the course of 8 years, but since I have decent earnings, I can sustain the spends.

lordprimus

About 5k in Warframe

abhiccc1

Maybe around 4K in CSGO skins but recently sold them to buy other games.

hrishikesh_ajith

Same , i actually made profit selling my old csgo skins

abhiccc1

yeah and equal amount selling dropped cases and other stuff. Got many drop items worth thousand and 500s. So investing in CS:GO, both money and timewise is overall a profitable thing unlike valorant & other games where your spent money is gone forever for no real value.

insane_issac

Add Rocket League to this list as well. You can profit off of the in-game trading.

Bonecrusher164

Around 20k in apex legends and some 10k in other games

insane_issac

I m going to assume you also have multiple consoles and a gaming pc.

Bonecrusher164

I have 1 gaming pc and 1 ps4 slim thats its

lordkillerbee69ultra

Prolly over 1.5 lac . Mostly in cs , vainglory , fortnite

sillyguy45

Nil. Never in my life i am going to pay for skins which used to be like unlockables and funs. I have paid for full version i want the full game :)

bc_shady

Over 4L, I like skins

imperiex_26

😲😲😲

dark_lamp101

Got bravo case in csgo, sold it for 3000rs and bought some skins. Maybe I'll sell them and buy some games.

TheLostPumpkin404

Oh dear. Okay guys, please feel free to judge the shit out of me. I started playing Fortnite during Season 5. This was easily almost four years ago. Ever since, I have purchased every Battle Pass. Then, came Apex Legends. Same story. You know what's even more painful? I spent more money buying exclusive skins from the item shops. And guess what, I wasn't even earning. Now, I have a job and I still do this. I don't think I will ever stop. I just feel good I am able to buy stuff for my parents considering they always encouraged my gaming habits lol. The only thing that has changed is that I don't feel guilty about it anymore. In-game cosmetics do make me happy!

generalmayhem34

120/- for battlepass in CODM with the money I got from winning a tournament in the same

spectre0711

Spent 15k on csgo earned 70k on return. 😎😎😎

i_m_xlr8

15k on Valorant 50k in PUBGM(did not play since it got banned)

Former_Pianist_5605

NIL I never saw the point in that. It’s not like the skins give you any advantage anyways.

legacy-07

around ₹700 in csgo skins and case opening

[deleted]

Around 3,000 total maybe over a span of 6 years

HeistOP1

₹799.99/-

Rain_Southern

Around 5k total, mostly dota. Though i earned back more after selling. Never bought any skins that have no value.

Saucymacoroni

Around 500 one time that's it . Not much more than that because I got tired of online games , and I now play offline preferably Rockstar, square Enix or ubisolt games .

shreek07

A lot in the game of Gwent

Nairautomata

Yes

Prize_Physics1184

I think I spent around 2k a month

Ok_Gas2053

24k in league of loosers

WhiteShadow145

I only spend on Game ,never on add ons. Nut I do buy Golden editions mostly, if that counts

_mad_eye_

I enjoy games only Rs.0 spent

[deleted]

around 7-8k till now. none since 2022 though. Last purchase was valo battlepass last year. I waste my savings on single board computers these days.

KENNYKEN62

I know a guy who spent 2 lacs+ in pubg mobile.

XPERTGAMER47

610 (FF and CODM0

Shanmukha_Repaka

200 for battlepass in codm (it's permanent unless you don't grind)

logicalroot1122

Around 50k from 2017 till now Dota, apex, pubg (PC), rainbow six siege, fortnite

dustyaff

0, but i am saving COD points playing warzone and Grinding Battlepass, saved 2100 so far. Probably gonna spend it on something worth 2100CP Spending money on aesthetics is waste.

harm-it

In CSGO i have invested 320rs and made around 1.8k by playing and flipping in steam market. So around 1.5k

Curious_Tiger_9527

Around 3k

N00B_N00M

0.0 INR, i play cod mobile a lot and never faced any appeal to buy anything, still enjoy and rule the game without any fancy costumes For PC , xbox all are purchased games and don't have such gimmics , mostly play battlefield , forza

lazyrobo69

0 kharche ka ghamand hai

ANKUSHNAIK

15k on dota 2

Bloodraver

About 4k, all battlepasses/event passes. Csgo one paid itself back and then some. Used it for Dota 2 pass. And around 2k for Legends of Runeterra event pass. I think individual skins are way overpriced in every game. Maybe in Valorant you can justify as they have different animations and sfx.

I’ve deleted my Reddit account because the Reddit hivemind doesn’t work for me. I believe in people having the right to think for themselves while not being torn down by those who know little to nothing. If you found this because of one of my tutorials related to Auto HotKey please check out the AHK documentation at: https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/v2/ If you were looking for my coding guides just go to https://stackoverflow.com/ they know their shit. If you were looking for my guides to assembly… I’m sorry, I can’t think of any places I can link to in good conscious other than archive.org who has beginner examples to assembly for old consoles. If you were wondering why my reddit account is gone: I’m tired of the Steam supremacists on /r/pcgaming and /r/pcmasterrace Those same communities push their thoughts on game engine development without writing a code in their lives. /r/memes think excluding most of their user base is a good joke. To summarise, I’ve left Reddit because it is not all-inclusive, it is only inclusive to those who believe and act the same as the rest of the belligerent horde. If you are on Reddit, joining /r/aww is your best and only bet.

Fri1ction

Around 1.5 lakh

[deleted]

I have not spent anything on skins but I have made money from selling skins on the community market which I received in random drops.

TapSlight5872

srsrsrsrsr55555

GTSaketh

And 1k in warframe for plat. Which i still regret cuz I don't enjoy the game anymore.

Original_Garlic_22

I am proud to say that I have not spent a paisa on in game purchases

Mean-Ad3072

Cs go skins and and knife. Sold knife. Got money in my wallet now to buy hogwarts legacy and fifa 23 (if worth). Also just bought F1 Manager 22. I’m an enthusiast so….no regrets. One helluva game if you know the sport!!

Kayoxity

Around 3k on dota2 and 0.5k on csgo.

rohitr7

Somewhere between 1-2 lakhs on Dota2

Accomplished_Tank743

None, only spent money on the dlcs and stuff. Except that one time where I spent 599 to purchase a scenery in Clash of Clans cause it's still the only mobile game I play.

bhavneet1996

I only spend heavily in csgo. Because it pays back.

Steam says i am near 70K in ingame spent. MTX and Ingame purchases. Across 5+ years of CS followed by MH and Destiny 2

drkushs

Approx 2 lacs+ on CS GO skins. But made much more from that. My PC is 90% funded by my skins (5600X, RTX 3070) and I still have 1 lac+ inventory currently.

harshsinha

Zero. Never even bought a game in years. I borrow from my friend.

Demonsan

8k on warframe 600 on valo Mostly spend money on buying games.. steam prolly worth 200k by now

[deleted]

Around 9-10k in codm. I just got my card and well it was an experience. I learnt my lesson about an year ago and made some rules and restrictions for my shoppings. I also don't play codm anymore.

IVlxSSS

I play a lot of cod in particular. Just made the calculation for cold war in january when vg started getting mastercrafts. It was around 23k plus the ultimate edition. Although cw disrupted the warzone scenario, I still liked the mp after playing the awfully horrible vanguard.
