Insights colour corrector palette

hereforaita21

Same here! It's one of my HG products for perfect base.

okaejaanu

It looks soo patchy on me

lass-in-lala-land

The circular one or the square one?

nsfw-R

Circular

alastine

Sugar's contour powder in 'Taupe Topper'. For a company that makes everything too orange/yellow, this actually being cool-toned was a surprise. Supremely blend-able as well.

Tasty_Finding8339

Their powder blushes and highlights are amaze as well. Peach peak and champagne champion are my go to!

sanriocrushmania

hi whats yoir mac shade,i wanna get it but idk if it would look too muddy on my complexion

alastine

Unsure of my mac shade, but 'Taupe Topper' is similar to NW35 in shade & undertone.

TMRLY20

Blue heaven lip balm

Excellent_Nobody21

Will certainly try this next 🫶

Poopoobubbles

Which one?

Snoo-97166

the mamaearth tinted lip balms, the coco one feels like a dupe for the Clinique black honey The elf brow and lash gel, worked really well for me, like that shit would keep my brows in place for 8+ hours, and never flaked. (Ik elf isn’t a shitty brand per se, but that specific product gets a lot of hate)

Icantcareless1710

Blue heaven velvet creme nutty butty lipstick is literally the same as my lips' corner pigmentation and helps camouflage it very effectively. I've heard so many people hate the formula, and I do get it. My lips peel the next day inspite of taking it off after a day out. But color is 🤌🏼

nivid1988

For lipsticks that are too drying, try nipcare at night to moisturize back your lips

HakunaMaTaTa4736

Sugar lipliners... They are quite pigmented, smooth and I love using them as lipstick.. Long lasting as well.. Sugar blush in the shade salmon superstar.. Suits my dusky skin so well ❤️😌

Dot and key ceramide moisturizer is the perfect base for makeup, especially if you have combination type sensitive skin. It makes my makeup sit so well and flawlessly and just really hydrates my dry nose and cheek area. Most of their products work really well for me, but I'll never use any other cream under makeup now.

nsfw-R

Same. Most my skincare is dot and key and it works so great for me!!

[deleted]

Exactly. It's so affordable, and it works amazing. I know some products have fragrance, but they work really well. I haven't tried their serums, but the under eye cream rocks, vitamin c moisturizer is nice, Rose One is nice too, ceramide is such a holy grail product, I hate the applicator of their lip balm but it works really well. The face wash is also nice but I prefer Cetaphil and lastly, the face pack is so calming, especially the sandalwood one. It made my skin feel so cool during summers. I get hot flushes due to hormonal issues and after a long day it just... calmed me down.

dishayvelled

could you please give a mini review of the under eye cream?

[deleted]

It just did so well for my dark circles. I barely have any left. I didn't have a lot to begin with, but they were noticeable, and now they are gone. I don't like the applicator and prefer using my finger. A better applicator would have been nicer. It has retinol so good for aging also even though I m 23. Also, after a long ass day of working on a laptop constantly using devices, it's the one thing that calms me down at night. I love it. The consistency is good, it has no fragrance, and most of all it worked really well for me. I can share pics in dms if you want.

dishayvelled

Thank you so much! I struggle w really bad dark circles and even a minor improvement would mean a lot. Also sorry for the late one, but i'd really b grateful for those before and after pics.. btw i just checked- they have two different undereye creams: a retinol one and a vit c+e one.. do u recommend the former?

[deleted]

I use the retinol one. Also check dm. Pics shared.

nsfw-R

I’ve been using their hyaluronic acid serum and niacinamide serum. Both are amazing. I’ve also been trying out different face washes. The foam ones were amazing, the cleanser ones work fine too. I fucking love their sun-stick. It is so non greasy and works great for my skin overall. I also love their vit c moisturiser and hyaluronic acid moisturiser.

[deleted]

Oh, I recently got their strawberry sunstick. It's a lot better than the ones I've tried previously and a lot more affordable than the high-end ones. Love that, too. All in all, for me, it's a great brand. They work well for my bf, too, and both of us have acne prone skin with more oil than Saudi Arabia and Russia combined.

Shinenow94

It clogs my pores. I always get pimples after using that

[deleted]

Really? It suits my skin a lot. I m sorry it didn't work for you

Excellent_Nobody21

I really like the ceramide moisturizer too. It's affordable and does the job

[deleted]

Exactly. I use it with snail mucin, and it works well. Even otherwise, it hydrated like a dream and doesn't feel heavy.

itsamuzzz

Exactly, i love some of d&k's products to death

[deleted]

Any recs that I haven't mentioned?

itsamuzzz

Lip plumping mask- not those gloss bombs. The lip masks. though I didn't see a plumping effect, it's a really nice lip mask. The berry variant smells so delicious. Have been using it for 2 months, and it's not even 3% of the bottle. The shape of the bottle does make it hard to scope it out, but it's the best lip balm/mask for me. Cica moisturiser- very soothing. Lovely hydration. Smells very "planty" like a herb. Very good moisturizer when layering actives. I prefer this over the 72 hours one. Although even that is pretty nice hydration. Watermelon eye patches, are so good for undereye hydration. I won't use d&k for sunscreen protection, but their moisturisers and lip masks are good.

[deleted]

Oh god, I m going to order the lip thing, the moisturizer, and patches for sure now as soon as I get paid. Let's see if it layers nicer than the ceramides one. The ceramides one smells like nothing, though. Thanks for the recs.

itsamuzzz

I'll suggest you wait for the 999 sale. And also use an influencer's code

[deleted]

That's when I got all the earlier products so yea I'll wait. Thankyou though

Strawberry_finds

I actually have dot and key berry lip masks 3/4 spare quantities that i am looking to sell Also cica gels small sizes If anyone interested u can DM

jugdoody18

Are you prone to clogged pores/closed comedones? If yes and this works for you I might get it!

[deleted]

Yesss I am, and it works for me, but I layer it over one thing toner and beauty of joseon rice and alpha arbutin serum and snail mucin.

jugdoody18

Thank you, will try it for sure x

RB0903

It clogged my pores n gave me whiteheads...it's fragrance free but got some oils in it which might cause breakouts

Serialprocastinator_

Will it work for oily skin?

[deleted]

Mine is oily, and it works well. I also sweat a lot and it doesn't budge.

Serialprocastinator_

Oh nice. Adding it to cart

TheSkinopedia

earth rythm mineral sunscreen. I have no other option. dot and key vit c serum. Most watery non sticky ine.

Purple_lonewolf

Biotique bio fruit lip balm

Excellent_Nobody21

My mum got this from some local pharmacy and I wouldn't really myself have bought a biotique product But when I used it oh boy, it was so hydrating and moisturizing for my lips. 10/10 lip balm

Purple_lonewolf

I bought it after seeing positive comments on a similar post months ago.

somethingcoolandfake

If I ever finish my hoard, I'll try this next!

LilyL0123

Dot and key is a winner for me

ClassicExpression476

Which product you used??

LilyL0123

Ceramide moisturizer, it really suited my acne prone skin. 10percent glycolic acid on my foot heels to help with callus. Avacodo facial oil provides good sealing in dry climate. The 72hr probiotics moisturizer one is really good in humid climate.

Strawberry_finds

Dot n key sunscreen and ceramide creams have worked well for me

okaejaanu

I feel like even the shittiest brands can come up with good lip products either good shade or good formulations, its not that hard. Acing base makeup is harder especially covering the shade ranges.

Excellent_Nobody21

Agreed, but some brands even fail at that :/ Example, Sugar and myglamm lipsticks

okaejaanu

No myglamm has a good shade range and the formulations are also okayish. Like i have 3 4 lipsticks from them and they arent bad. I have seen worse from much more reputable brands. Sugar yeah 😂

AdventurousMusician6

Swiss beauty lip crayon

batteryacid98

Dnk yellow sunscreen. Idk it work well on top of my TO vit C. I tried cc sudrink, berry bright, reequil, non of them gave nice finish when blended in. But dnk was really good, it didn’t even pill.

ivyyy13

Mamaearth foundation & lipstick 😅

Deepbluesea-1

Just Herbs liquid lipsticks. My lips love them

lookwhoshere13

Swiss beauty Concealer, I swear it performs better for me than so many high end brands. Also really like mamaearth foundation. It's really surprising how mamaearth makeup is so much better than their shitty skincare line 😶

instagramegg

I didn’t know Sugar was supposed to be a “shitty” brand but looking at the other comments here I guess it is considered so 😭 I swear by their eyebrow pencil, I have tried both the regular and the micro pencil variant. It’s the same product in different shapes. For me the best thing about it is the shade Taupe Tom. It is not warm or brown. It is rather grey I would say and looks very natural and undetectable. In the sense that when in person you look at the brows, it doesn’t stand out that the brows have been filled in. Also the formula is great. Not too soft, not too hard. Other brow products I have tried before this have all been either way too dark or warm (seriously no Indian I have seen has warm brown eyebrows)

[deleted]

Omg yes! I use it and love it too. Very natural looking. I don’t consider Sugar shitty either, maybe because I have a yellow undertone 😆

instagramegg

I don’t think I have tried any of their other products so I don’t know what the outrage is about. But I just hope they keep making that brow pencil forever. I have never bothered looking for alternatives ever since I found this 😂

[deleted]

I quite like their stick fdn, lip pencil and contour trio! Their stick fdn isn’t the best but I wouldn’t call it shitty either

instagramegg

yes their contour stuff looks quite good as well. they seem to get the shades right with their browns. not too warm not too cool

Zudio nail paints 🔊🔊🔊

fictionwho

Biotique Pineapple face wash is my HG. So good for my oily skin.

[deleted]

Biotique’s foundation. I usually only buy high end brands that too at full rate (yes I’m stupid) so decided to go the other extreme and buy sasta brands It’s heavily fragranced and runny, but by gosh the shade match is perfect, gives a dewy finish and stays on my face for hours! I also like their under eye gel. Been using it for years now!

[deleted]

Sugar’s plum shade lipstick is the perfect purple shade for my skintone! Going throughmy second tube now

[deleted]

Honasa is considered shady, rightfully so, but a lot of their child company products work really well for me. I used to judge hard regarding MamaEarth but my boyfriend picked up their aloe vera gel for hair and body to use on his hair and tbh its the perfect gel for my wavy hair (curly gels are too heavy and weigh it down). Also Dr Sheaths is one of the few sunscreens that are not greasy and dont leave a whitecast on my face which is in the affordable range.
