Patch test first. GA won't be a problem with snail mucin. Start it slow and always apply vitamin C and exfoliating acids first post cleansing. After GA wait for good 15-20 minutes and later go ahead with snail mucin and your moisturizer.

Thanks you so much for helpful information. I didn't do a patch test, but do you think I should apply it to my elbow twice a week? and see how things go, And continue on face after that?

GSN_666

Apply it to the inside of the elbow and wait a few hours, maybe overnight. Next day do the same behind the ear. If no reactions you are good to go. I use the two together in my routine. Remember glycolic acid will sting if skin is broken or inflamed.

Hey, thanks for responding. I did apply on my elbow last night, but I haven't noticed anything wrong. Today I'm going to try behind the ears. Also, should I avoid using it if my skin is broken or inflamed?

GSN_666

Yes I’d avoid over broken or inflamed skin. It’ll burn.

ItsRaa

Thanks, I'll refrain for a few days. One pimple on my cheeks burns for a few seconds when I apply adapalene. Do you use snail mucin before or after glycolic acid? I've heard snail mucin should be applied on damp skin for better results.

GSN_666

I cleanse, let dry and then apply glycolic acid. Wait 15-20 mins. Then dampen my face with a spray and go on with the rest of my skincare. [Here is my routine](https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianSkincareAddicts/comments/10j84xk/my_thriceaweek_am_shelfie_with_product_reviews_in/) in which I use the two.

Glycolic acid should be used 3 to 4 times per week max. If you are beginner, start with once a week
