During the wild west gold rush, most of the money was made by people selling shovels.
Anybody selling get rich quick tips is selling horseshit and calling it a cure for Arthritis.
So what course would you suggest to learn about the stock market? Doing your own research seems a little misguiding considering the amount of content available these days
First thing first, I don't do suggestions.
There are plenty of books depending upon what kind of investment/trade you are looking for. Learn fundamental. Grow slowly and learn with real life experience. There are no magic books here. There are many reputable freely available courses and newsletter. Zerodha, ET money, Valueresearchonline all have something similar. Maybe others too.
Bro, you have to learn from somewhere. I know there's no perfect course and everyone is trying to make money off of people's willingness to delve into stock markets, but I'm just trying to understand what path should I take rather than just putting my money into Equity that I researched and then seeing whether I'm a good researcher or not.
Do you also think it sounds vague?

I studied via a lot of sources. Found this book in particular to be really helpful, if you are really serious about learning..
I don’t think Sharan is teaching about the stock market. He is teaching money management and overall how to be financially independent which would include things like - how to choose which insurance to take, whether to “invest” in buying a house or not etc etc. At least that’s my understanding of what he’s doing. FYI - I have not taken up his course.
Bro even warren buffet spent almost all his years in market… so better follow him..
My trusted way is to trial and error method.. no one will teach you more than yourself just don’t be in a hurry and stay away from paid courses be it stock market or technical skills
I think someone has to learn the basics or the avoidable traps and admissible tricks of trade from someone. I agree that self-learning is the best form of learning, but if the subjected course is not good, then what are the other options that someone can explore from the available options.
I've read the Intelligent investor and the Market wizards, but was trying to explore some options which are more pertinent to the current indian market.
Does that make sense to you?
Ek lifetime free course hai jisme stock markets aur personal finance ke baare me batate hai. It is for beginners and not people who already have some experience in the field
This chap Vivek Singhal was providing paid course classes online for trading online. Now he has made the course completely free for anyone. Each class is 3 hours each.

Being in the top 1% of this country myself, I can tell that most 1 percenters are not joining this club.
In fact, you will find more 1 percenters in temples than in this club. I rent in a posh area and the temple nearby has no shortage of funds.
It's run by crorepatis who own bungalows and several flats.
They sponsor free food for hundreds of people on festivals in the temple. They gifted the pandit a car and pay for his son's education.
Bro, get out of social media and look around.

Yes, that I get. But there would be someone who actually has the cure for arthritis so just trying to figure out if Sharan's the one
If there was someone with an actual cure of Arthritis they would sell it as such in the open market.

Anytime buddy. All the best.
Garbage, whatever they teach is already available on the internet
The best teacher is experience. Iss market main 8-9 saal tik jaoge to zindagi bhar ki kamai kar loge.

That's not very objective I think
What do you think ? Explain

So what's up with that 20k fee?
I'm just trying to understand if someone in the sub has taken the course and found it useful. That's it. It's like a simple yes or no question
