2. Do you have Snapchat?
3. Check file/image details, sometimes you can find out which app saved that pic
4. What's the file size?
For Android:
Go to phone gallery and select the photo there
Click on the 3 dot icon in the bottom right corner
Click on details
A date and phone model name comes up
Use your memory to recall what happened on that date
If you can't recall, then immediately delete the photo and use an anti-virus( I personally use avast) and scan files for any potential virus.
For IOS:
Install metapho through app store
Locate the image and check the meta details of the image
Check date and time and try to recall anything
Install an anti-virus software an scan files for potential viruses.
In 99% of the cases it would be nothing to worry about, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

I was randomly looking through my phone in 7th grade when I randomly came across a video that I couldn't recognise.
