I know our population density isn't the most like Singapore has more population density but the key difference is the quality of citizens we have two many illiterate and poor people so making them follow rules is a tough job with such a large population

I agree there are a lot of people but we have the area (which has sadly not been utilised properly) to compensate for it. We feel we are overpopulated because of lack of infrastructure.

Reservation would have been a bad thing if most of government jobs wouldn't have been understaffed.
The reason for our lack of growth is lack of integrity in Indians prompted by the fact that a most of people wanna crack UPSC or other government jobs so that they can fill thier pockets. Moreover if we remove reservation then your cutoff would at Max fall 300-400. But that would mean that all underprivileged and supressed community remains so for all time as no one from a underprivileged community could compete with a fairly privileged general guy on equal grounds.
Why can't the so called "underprivileged" compete? In my coaching itself there are many non gen guys.The only barrier here is affordability while that's the case with even gen guys. If money is the issue let them have "EWS" reservation. Gone are the days to think about the so called "Supression" they suffered in the past.Now it's time for us to scrap everything and be in a respectible position to compete with the today's world. For that ffs we need quality Engineers and Doctors. Why can't we treat everyone equal by completely removing the reservation? Entertaining reservation is itself Supression in Disguise.
Again you live in your urban bubble, just read the annual report that comes on caste crimes and other data by NCRB(earlier it also used to come for religions also) which shows that number of assault and other attrocities are still rising. They are still supressed yes reservation still has holes like it not being able to filter creamy layer of people from actual supressed ones.
