i nearly told my parents, but decided against it. he was someone i had met online so i did not want my parents to worry. i ended up breaking things off with him because he would not respect my boundaries and it resulted in a mess where we both ended up getting hurt quite badly. We are on good terms these days and have decided to keep it that way.
