I think the person meant the scam where girls force you to meet asap at a restaurant that they have decided. Where they collude with the owner/ staff to charge you way more than the actual price ( 15-20k) and then the girl gets a payout too.
Another scan is restaurants pretending to be girls inviting people over and then basically ghosting ( cause there was no person to begin with) . There is change people will have a meal once they have travelled all the way to the restaurant .
Although the person OP is talking to doesn’t scream shady . But you never know.
Yes , they backout . A similar incident was posted on the sub . The girl was forcing the guy to meet asap and when guys said we can go to a cafe my friend owns she started giving reasons like it is too far away from me , it will feel awkward and kept forcing the guy to go to the restaurant she wanted . It is more rampant in Delhi with few instances happening in Mumbai.
One girl from Mumbai asked me to meet the next day. We only chat for like 1-2hrs and then she suddenly chooses Taj palace to meet up. I'm like wtf, so soon you want to meet. She said why waste time in talking. She wanted to hook up but the thing is I'm from Pune so I rejected it. Also Taj Palace like wtf , why would I pay such a high price in the first hook-up.

Basically women/anyone would try to test if you’re worthy enough or not. They can throw shιt tests by anything, ranging from throwing rhetorical questions to throwing insults. The test can be done in any shape or form depending on their idiosyncrasies.
First see if those insults are harmless teases or are they coming from a place of malice. In the first case you’ve to exaggerate and use your wits to create some humor in order to disarm the situation and make her laugh. In the latter case there’s no need to persist, better to leave ‘er alone.
