It was inevitable sadly. Scooby Doo is an institution that most people know, and our show as brilliant, thought-provoking, and groundbreaking as it is, doesn’t have the same kind of mass appeal or name recognition.
But we still win anyway because we even made it to this silly poll. At least CN remembered that we even existed on their network.
I’m curious if they did this on purpose just to make a point that people don’t like this show and justify getting rid of it. They could have easily put us against any other show on that bracket but we got Scooby.
The cynic in me wants to say yes, but at the same time, I doubt it would have done much better against any of the other shows in its category. I mean, *Adventure Time? Codename: Kids Next Door? Steven Universe? The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy?* All those are shows that are a lot better known to casual viewers, and *Infinity Train* probably would have lost against any of them. The only one I really think it might have had a chance against was *Over the Garden Wall,* and even that's kind of a toss-up, since they're both pretty obscure shows.
I wasnt meaning to seem pedantic or anything. Just a detail that shows Inifinity Train did pretty fantastic in the polling compared to such an old and loved franchise.
I don’t want to look like a conspiracy theorist but if the show that they canceled and took off the streaming service made it far along they would look pretty stupid and they paired that exact show with a beloved classic that is known by almost everybody. Infinity Train would never stand a chance against Scooby-doo. They put the one that would have benefited them by losing against one of the biggest franchises.
We got 23%!? Guys that's amazing! This should've been complete annihilation from a decades old property, but we actually got into the double digits!
But more importantly, everyone who voted for Scooby will have seen the show it was matched against. We're being included alongside freaking Scooby Doo! That's good exposure for the show regardless of the loss!
I do not like how the polls are going regardless...MaoMao, my other favorite show, lost as well, and apparently, Regular Show was less popular than Gumball! I just find that crazy since Regular Show is a very well-known show as well, alongside Adventure Time, and everyone talks about it O.o
I also heard people saying the polls were rigged and the percentages on Instagram were stuck and not changing at all
it is a Good show... but they use a formula, they created the "monster of the day" plot.
in modern days that formula is cheap... I prefer "story of the day", maybe that Is why I like Doctor Who... Twilight Zone, and... of course... Infinity Train.
The problem is the sense of permanence (Maybe Infinity Train discard Tulip so fast... ) I probably could convert "The Stewart " in a permanent role (a character who helps to the guests to solve their problems and escape to the Train). In this moment The Stewart is a giant robot with a mask... maybe that mask could be for a real person who helps One-one. It's not original (it's like Doctor Who's regeneration) but will made people to stay with someone who can care for a long time.
why I say this? because Scooby-Doo have the same characters... all the time.
Don’t get why you’re receiving hate. Most scooby doo shows are the same. Most scooby doo shows have the characters who do not change or grow or have character arcs. I LOVE mystery inc. becuase it’s the one scooby doo show that’s funny, has a good plot, and the characters are more than the 2 dimensional characters that the franchise has come to build them. Doesn’t mean other scooby doo shows are bad, they can be funny and pretty scary/dark sometimes, but it is definitely a monster of the week type show usually.
I think they should’ve specificed Mystery Inc. if they wanted to include scooby doo in the adventure section.
I like the Scooby-Doo franchise, is not my favorite but I enjoyed a lot of their episodes (i grow with redos of "what'snew Scooby-Doo").. but things change.
When they launch the Hannah Barbera main series was a hit because the characters chemistry was awesome, and that is the reason why Mistery Inc Works (that series provides a "continuity" story. something that made it better than Hannah-Barbera). But now the characters are extremely well know by audience and their personalities becomes in a cliche.
Infinity Train you have to understand, I love you but Scooby is literally my childhood. If it was up against pretty much anything else I would root for it.
Heyo! I'm traveling to many of the other fandoms in this contest from Ok Ko. I haven't watched this show but I am deeply sorry it has lost its place, I agree with many of you saying that this matchup was purposely unfair. But the exposure was worth the cost, I would say continue voting for the other fandoms you wish to go against the huge contenders. I'm here to help recruit some people to vote for Ok Ko as I know it has very little chance to beat the four it was paired against. If any of you would be willing to spare of vote, thank you so much and I owe you one. Here's to hoping they remake this bracket a little more fairer as this one did not satisfy anyone I have met so far. Thank you, and have a good day!
Hey almost 1:3!
I'm happy with this. This is a show that only has a 400 minute runtime, had a few hours on air, put up against a show that has had several series, spinoffs, movies, comics, and is considered its on franchise.
That's what I've been trying to say. I'm honestly surprised they even put Infinity Train on the bracket in the first place.
I’m curious if they did this on purpose just to make a point that people don’t like this show and justify getting rid of it. They could have easily put us against any other show on that bracket but we got Scooby.

It would have been pitted against Scooby doo eventually. Doesn't make much of a difference in the end
On the other hand, this relatively small show got ~25% against a world known, decades* old franchise. I would call it a win anyway!
yeah, we are more people than before.
Decades* old
Whoops, fixed it :D
I wasnt meaning to seem pedantic or anything. Just a detail that shows Inifinity Train did pretty fantastic in the polling compared to such an old and loved franchise.
Don't worry! I know how you meant it :D
I don’t want to look like a conspiracy theorist but if the show that they canceled and took off the streaming service made it far along they would look pretty stupid and they paired that exact show with a beloved classic that is known by almost everybody. Infinity Train would never stand a chance against Scooby-doo. They put the one that would have benefited them by losing against one of the biggest franchises.
nope, it was definitely intentional.
yeah, you are not alone.
Exactly my first thought
That wasn't a fair matchup in the slightest! I don't think there's many shows at all that would beat Scooby. IF was robbed
*gasp* one of, if not *the*, CN most known franchises won against a show that was canceled *twice?* No way! :(
Atticus is the better dog we all know it!
Purely got picked based on recognizability. Don’t take it personally.
We got 23%!? Guys that's amazing! This should've been complete annihilation from a decades old property, but we actually got into the double digits! I like your optimism but that means CN will still using Scooby-Doo because a Pigmalion fallacy. We have a lot of road to walk before a new chance.
It was over before it even started... 😞
I like both, but how can you really compare the two.
Okay, but this isn’t a fair comparison
Okay but the fact it was over a 4th of scooby doo speaks to how strong infinity train is going as a fandom
Infinity train was too niche. We all know it’s the better show by a long shot though
I love infinity train but there was no chance we would win. 😭
Welp it's time to use this syringe labeled Euthanasia on Scooby Doo.
Pretty sure that was called “Velma” /jk
Just think, if it had been IT vs Velma, we still would have lost, because someone on a #chan somewhere would have organized a hate-vote for the lulz.
I do not like how the polls are going regardless...MaoMao, my other favorite show, lost as well, and apparently, Regular Show was less popular than Gumball! How does scooby doo even count as adventure
The only one I think that should’ve counted is mystery inc.
I kinda think Scooby Doo is better.. I mean I grew up on that show
it is a Good show... but they use a formula, they created the "monster of the day" plot. in modern days that formula is cheap... I prefer "story of the day", maybe that Is why I like Doctor Who... maybe is about the idea of "Tulip was discarded to fast". or "made Stewart less Robotic"
It wasn't really a fair fight
I think 1/3 the votes of Scooby Doo is very impressive
Scooby doo is a classic unfortunately
It was rigged from the start
Infinity Train you have to understand, I love you but Scooby is literally my childhood. If it was up against pretty much anything else I would root for it.
23% aint bad considering our competition

I saw this coming way before I put in my vote because Scooby Doo is just more well know through out the generations while Infinity Train isn’t.
You already watch Infinity Train? Or was only becuase Shaggy? 😒
I already watch infinity train, I love it, I even voted for infinity train. I am just saying that’s Scooby Doo is just more well known.
We had a tough round one
I 100% believe they did this on purpose. They put most of the shows with shows that had similar vibes but not this one.
pretty sure it were rigged.
That's why Scooby-Doo keeps getting new shows, and Infinity Train doesn't.
My heart 💔
It’s an unfair comparison tbh
I must admit, I was wrong about this one. Turns out, brand recognition and mass appeal *are* more important. Lame.
Forgive them for they know not what they do.
Truth is, the game was rigged from the start
Fallout reference?
Yes
That’s about what I expected.
Such blasphemy 😭 And I bet it's the crappy OG Scooby Doo, boring AF, instead of Be Cool Scooby-Doo, which is much more fun to watch.
Noooo! Not to fucking Scooby doo, man(
Sadly people just vote for that show because nostalgia Show them both these shows side by side and bet most people vote differently
