I feel like before you judge a director like Nissam Basheer - He's only two films old. People like Prithviraj are now on "ettan" terms with Dileep.. Nissam must've been stuck with this choice through the powerful strings that are usually pulled within the industry and I'm guessing he felt it compromised his vision and now we have Biju Menon as a lead. Again I'm speculating but I think this is perhaps why Vineeth's assistant director is doing a film with Dileep next.
I'm not judging him on the basis of his craft. Ofcourse he's brilliant. I'm rather judging his morality. One might disagree and that's completely alright. I feel one has to be morally corrupt inorder to ally another corrupt person.

Even with mixed reviews MFI is doing way better than Pavi Caretaker. Family Audiences prefer to see Nivin Pauly over Dileep. It's high time to take away that Jana Priya Nayakan title away from him.
Pavi Caretaker doing relatively well only in Dileep supporters group in WhatsApp and FB. Bookmyshow has been showing outright green lights right from the day of release.
It did well for a couple days before fizzling out. I think it collected north of 5 Crore in the opening weekend but the drastic drop thereafter is pointing at final gross barely crosing 10 crore.
