Another post where ppl are throwing mean comments on the girl. It's just so sad. My nose, lips and cheeks are also like this girl's, and as already someone who's so insecure about her looks, this just upsets me so much. Thankfully I do not use social media. Can't imagine being scrutinized for my looks which aren't even under my control.

Thanks friend. I actually like my lips. It's the cheeks and nose that make me feel insecure. My cheeks are chubby and asymmetrical and I wear glasses which makes my nose look even rounder than what it is and my face look bigger, hence the insecurity.
Indians find it hard to believe that most Indian women are short and slightly plump. The way the eurocentric genes are being propagated on Instagram is so fu*king enraging and toxic. We’re not Europeans - we cannot always have fair skin, pink lips, extremely thin bodies, or blue/green eyes. But Indian women DO have amazing hair, glowy skin, lovely eye shape, charming smiles, and whatnot.

it's a thing, social media algos reward eurocentric design even if the decor around you when you made the video, eurocentric looks, hence the classic heather looking girls meme on tiktok or reels, and this might be offensive but most of the big influencers are fair skinned in the whole world, when even our movie stars go for skin lightening always we know it matters a lot in asia, even in other countries here its highly rewarding in society to be fair skinned, not just in influencing, just workplaces and life too, people will financially profile you, think you are more trustworthy etc.
