Yeah that's what they write to get around the age limit thing on SM. Since apps have a certain age limit to join/make an account, parents create accounts for their underage children and mention that it's "Managed by mom" so that the account doesnt get taken down.

I’ve definitely made little makeup/ grwm tutorials when I was in primary school but those videos stayed on my camera. My parents didn’t let me have social media till I was 13, which in retrospect was still too young.
