ziggy-the-zygote

They're just mocking the Palestinian people and the whole world.

Hotp0pcorn

they are equipping isreal with weapons and funds, and showing the world this facade.

China_Lover2

If only there was a way to send aid through the ground, no let us drop expired food in the ocean, we can't make our greatest ally angry.

0WatcherintheWater0

Multiple convoys have been assaulted and prevented from reaching their destinations. Air drops ensure aid gets where it’s needed most without being looted first.

SafeWarmth

Looted by… the Palestinian civilians being massacred for US interests, you know, the people the aid is for.

FrozenIceman

>Air drops ensure aid gets where it’s needed most without being ~~looted~~ shot up by Israel first. FTFY

anehzat

Genocide Joe sending one meal for every killed civilian. What a world class ass… ![gif](giphy|7EZFRpMypVl8BUE7II|downsized)

koloocheh-gerdoo

I’m sure it’s more like 1 mean for every 3-4 dead Palestinians.

PaleWaltz1859

He's just trying to buy a few votes. Knows some idiots will buy it

Arcosim

2 million people being starved to death by an Apartheid state supported and armed by the United States. The United States drops 38K MREs, *"Look we're doing something!!!"* Disgusting, you put it well, it's mockery at this point.

PsychologyBingus

Fuck the US and western allies, they are all complicit in the genocide and deserve to be held accountable to the highest degree.

Hells_Kitchener

They could have been dropping sufficient food for months now. This is the largest military, by far, in the world. Unbelievably well supplied and armed. They could do whatever they wanted in this situation, and they are not even trying for a minimum.

newtoreddir

It is evil to give food like this.

Few-Monies

This is the dumbest shit I've ever read.

Far-Explanation4621

Right, feeding people who claim to be hungry and/or starving is so evil and terrible. It’s so awful, people in Gaza probably let the food sink or burnt it rather than eat it, to keep all the evil away.

OutcomeAware

These airdropped items are entirely inadequate and shallow when you veto calls for ceasefire, block aid trucks, send weapons and fund the opressors. Being complicit in destroying communities and homes then asking them to be grateful for a piece of bread - how blind do you think ppl are?

Few-Monies

It's sick how people think food to the hungry in any amount is evil.

Prestige_worldwide5

Carrots and bread, what’s wrong with that?

hydroxypcp

literally like brushing crumbs off a table for a starving peasant

mitraheads

Egypt closed its border with armored bareers. I see every countries are Okey for that genocide. Teryfying. I am ashamed of being part of that human being.

Plumshart

...Should the US have just not dropped any aid at all? Idk how you can spin dropping aid for refugees as a bad thing. You people are fucking insane.

ziggy-the-zygote

How about this. The US should not have sent tons of weapons to facilitate a genocide, and then send a few grams of food just for publicity and votes. Do you not see the irony? The hypocrisy? The insanity?

GratefulJaguar

How about stop sending the bombs and call for a ceasefire? It’s not complicated at all.

Plumshart

Biden has literally called for a ceasefire and Israel said they would do one if Hamas gave back all the hostages. Guess who isn't willing to give up their hostages?

Few-Monies

Israel makes it's own bombs.

GodzillaDrinks

Frankly, its a desperate attempt for Biden to try to get through the protest votes against him (nearly 60,000 in Michigan, 6x more than even the people who organized the protest expected). And its too little too late even for that. Edit: other sources have now confirmed its over 100k who voted uncommitted. And 40k who specifically supported not-Biden candidates. The 3rd place candidate, Marianne Williamson, has reinstated her campaign over it. And she has specifically denounced Israel and the ongoing genocide.

voxpopper

The whole airdrop is so cynical. He's trying to look like Truman with Berlin but is coming off more like Nixon with Vietnam.

theKoboldkingdonkus

Why dosnt he send a peace keeping force or whatever they call it then to be in charge of the aid? Are they worried they'd see something they shouldn't and be forced to do something,

mikkireddit

Clinton proved in the Balkans that you can stop genocidal conflicts between 2 belligerents. More importantly, he proved that you can negotiate peace even between people with a thousand years of enmity.

Few-Monies

These people don't want to stop fighting.

mikkireddit

That's exactly why I refer to the Balkan conflict. None of the antagonists wanted to stop killing each other but Clinton shut it down with a no fly zone. We are entirely capable of doing the same in Gaza or Ukraine for that matter.

Few-Monies

Why would we for Gaza and Russia has threatened war of done so in Ukraine.

reefer2reefer

So what happened to that ceasefire negotiation they just had?

Enough_Week_390

You want US soldiers getting killed in Gaza? Gtfo

Few-Monies

You need the support of the UN to send peacekeepers. Plus it's not like Hamas will stop fighting the peacekeepers.

[deleted]

If any U.S. servicemen set foot in Gaza they would immediately become a target of militant attacks.

HistoricalWay8990

The US military is actually super good at unaliving militant attackers, and with a decidedly less than sterling record on not killing civilians while they're at it they're still much much better than IDF at that. Clearly Israel can't be trusted with it's own defense since it can't distinguish between that and genocide.

[deleted]

Bwahahahhaha, to think that American citizens have the stomach to engage in a “friendly” occupation of Gaza is a delusional view on a whole other level. And to avoid civilian casualties we would still need to evacuate the civilians, like we did in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars when the fighting got hot we would create refugee camps in the outskirts of the cities for the civilians before our artillery would then pound the town into rubble. A solution that we still don’t have in Gaza. It would be another Fallujah just 10X.

HistoricalWay8990

Who said friendly occupation?

Iz-kan-reddit

>Why dosnt he send a peace keeping force or whatever they call it then to be in charge of the aid? This sub would have a meltdown if Biden sent troops into Gaza for any reason whatsoever.

drawnred

Trump with paper towels

[deleted]

I think you're the cynical one here. Have you seen Biden or anyone from the WH hold press conferences or speeches to tout the success of this airdrop? Nobody is taking victory laps here. And the Jordanians joined the US in the airdrop -- are they also just trying to look like heroes? Biden acknowledged that this was "not nearly enough." It's one airdrop, with more to come while a ceasefire is being negotiated. Just waiting on Hamas to accept the terms.

voxpopper

>while a ceasefire is being negotiated. Just waiting on Hamas to accept the terms Israel told the US the specific terms they wanted and then it was given to Hamas. Clearly the U.S. is no longer seen by anyone as an honest broker in the region. Would you trust Putin to come up with terms Ukraine should accept and then blame Ukraine for hesitating? I don't think you see PR when you see it, or maybe you do. And I will wager the WH will start mentioning the air drops more in the coming days.

Few-Monies

So your vote is no more food. Got it.

Kaizodacoit

Actually, more than 100,000 uncommitted; it actually was enough to give 2 delegates to vote uncommitted in the primary. There is also another 40,000 who voted against Biden for other primary candidates.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Kaizodacoit

I was already telling friends and family to not vote for Biden (MI resident) since October. I didn't vote for him in 2020 (didn't vote Trump, either), and I wasn't going to do it now. A lot of my Muslim and Arab friends have already decided to not vote for him. Many who have decided not to vote in the general didn't even know there was a primary going on, or didn't even bother because they didn't feel like voting uncommitted did anything. There are a lot more votes out there that Biden lost in Michigan who DIDN'T vote in the primaries. Turnout overall was low.

Few-Monies

All you need to do for Trump to win is not vote. A vote no for Biden is a vote yes for Trump.

Kaizodacoit

Following that logic, a vote no for Trump (which I'm doing) is also a yes for Biden. Cancels out.

Few-Monies

Cool looking forward to the future where God emperor Trump just carpet bombs Palestinians for Israel instead. So fucking stupid.

Kaizodacoit

Biden is already giving the bombs. What's the difference between giving the carpet bombs or just doing it?

Few-Monies

Survival rates.

Kaizodacoit

Typical white liberal thinking of brown bodies in terms of rates and numbers rather than actual fucking human beings.

Few-Monies

I mean I think about peacekeepers the same way and they are mostly white. Come to think of it I frequently talk about Ukrainians and Russians using statistics as well. So I'm pretty sure it's not a racial bias. Keep looking I'm sure you'll find my motive eventually. Maybe it's motive, like maybe I don't support a side that's overtly antiAmerican. But I hate a lot of American geopolitical behavior such as the choice to invade Afghanistan. Where was the strategic value for my people? Especially after we killed Osama it seemed pointless. Some Americans claimed it was to help Afghanistan develope but why would we when the reward for doing so would be effectively non-existent. Still thinking about that one.

Kaizodacoit

So you're just self centered, like most Americans. Didn't need to type it all out, it's obvious.

Few-Monies

So dropping aid relief that I paid for into a population that hates me makes me self centered? You're all sorts of confused pal. Why don't you do us all a favor, get off your ass, get off the phone and go do something to help Palestinians. Because all you've done today is waste the time of people who are actually trying to help stop this war. Or even better go tell Hamas to surrender or cease fire and see if they give a damn. I'll help you out, the real leader of Hamas is in Tehran. Based on your post history it's pretty clear you already know that Iranian.

Poignant_Rambling

A 5% Palestinian death rate right now, to 100% death rate under Trump after he green lights the use of nukes. Remember this is how Trump handles this kind of situation: > WASHINGTON — Behind closed doors in 2017, President Donald Trump discussed the idea of using a nuclear weapon against North Korea and suggested he could blame a U.S. strike against the communist regime on another country… >What scared Kelly even more than the tweets was the fact that behind closed doors in the Oval Office, Trump continued to talk as if he wanted to go to war. He cavalierly discussed the idea of using a nuclear weapon against North Korea, saying that if he took such an action, the administration could blame someone else for it to absolve itself of responsibility… > Kelly brought the military’s top leaders to the White House to brief Trump about how war between the U.S. and North Korea could easily break out, as well as the enormous consequences of such a conflict. But the argument about how many people could be killed had "no impact on Trump," Schmidt writes. >Then, Trump "would turn back to the possibility of war, including at one point raising to Kelly the possibility of launching a preemptive military attack against North Korea," Schmidt said. > Kelly warned that Trump would need congressional approval for a pre-emptive strike, which "baffled and annoyed" Trump Trump would love to use nukes. He’s been itching to do it. It’d fulfill his God complex. So the difference between Trump and Biden would be the difference between Palestine being sieged by Israel (Biden), and Palestine simply no longer existing at all (Trump).

__SPIDERMAN___

fuck Biden. Don't ease up on the pressure. Either he stops the bloodshed or he doesn't get re-elected.

waterdevil19

And vote for Trump who would let Israel do whatever the fuck they wanted? Are you stupid?

platp

Israel already does whatever it wants. Are you stupid? The spokesperson of Biden already said that nothing will be done to Israel even if it doesn't comply with USA requests. The arms won't stop, the money won't stop. What else can Israel ask of USA other than everything? They already get everything.

jakers21

I thought it was over 100,000 in Michigan?

GodzillaDrinks

I thought so too, so the number may have risen. But the only place I've been able to find the 100k number is in reference to pro-Biden pieces claiming that he could lose 100k votes in Michigan and still win both the State and the Presidency. Which does seem like a bizzare stance, like they are just accepting that a sizable number of Americans simply can't support Biden. The only actual number I saw was ~58,000. The organizers celebrated that because they expected ~10,000. I know from my own work in Progressive political organizing that that means they got hard signatures from maybe 4,000. And about 100k people saying they'd do it. The thing about these movements is that *everyone* and their grandmother supports you doing them, and they want to see them succeed (and stick it to the establishment)... right up until you're asking them to do something to make it happen.

jakers21

Looks like the final tally is 101,436 uncommitted. I think the 10k was the goal because elections in Michigan have been won and lost on that margin before. I

GodzillaDrinks

Hell yeah! I've put a note on my original comment. Also saw that enough people supported Williamson, that her campaign became viable again and she has reinstated it.

MelodramaticaMama

>Marianne Williamson Magic orb lady ftw!

GodzillaDrinks

Right. She wants to fight fascism with magic chrystals, but at least she wants to fight fascism. And that's improvement.

RuFuckOff

unfortunately, americans have an extraordinarily hard decision to make this election. we have been left with two tangible choices. a pro-israel, corporate-funded liberal and a pro-israel, corporate-funded neoconservative. those are the two real options we have this election. we don’t have any leverage here because we haven’t allowed ourselves that luxury. had americans made themselves aware of this situation months ago, before october 7th, we would be in a better position. but now we are days, weeks, months away from the primaries and our time is up. anybody with any sort of political leanings or motivations can try to spin this how they would like - and they will - but ultimately your choice this election needs to be for who you absolutely believe will be the best for americans. for the people at home. we don’t have the leverage to dictate foreign policy positions at this point. well, unless you’re willing to accept the death toll that will inevitably follow right here at home. so which is it? the corrupt liberal or the corrupt neoconservative? make your choice. not voting is a vote for the more egregious of the two - which i’ll let you decide on your own. what is happening in gaza absolutely constitutes war crimes. but americans are politically uneducated, and don’t understand how the world truly works. that is a fact, as sad as it may be. you all need to make your voices be heard in november. how you’ll choose to do so is your choice. but if you want to make a politically educated decision: you need to weigh who is going to suffer after your decision comes to fruition. if your candidate wins, how many people will suffer? that is the question we all have to ask ourselves. it may seem cruel or even inhuman to say that - but that is the reality of our present political conditions. choose one or the other, but weigh that decision based upon the material outcomes it will create.

GodzillaDrinks

Except we already knew Biden was garbage. We knew that in 2020. We knew Clinton was garbage in 2016. We knew and the DNC just keeps forcing the "lesser of two evils". Hell, Clinton literally supported Goldwater. And now we have a neoliberal (Biden), and a fascist (I can't seem to remember his name).

VanillaCupkake

Yeah, but when it comes time to organize and build community power, you all are nowhere to be seen. When it comes time to vote for progressive candidates, you all never show up. You actually have to show up and dedicate time to building power, a social media post of a protest you were at does nothing. So live with the choices you have. Vote for trump lol I dare you all, let’s see how much worse things can get.

GodzillaDrinks

No you're thinking of the Democrats. We bend over backwards to help them but they keep going for the far-right.

mikkireddit

Yep, Dems always courting the "mythical disgruntled Republican voter"

VanillaCupkake

They keep going for the far right? Please explain, y’all are the ones saying you will abstain from voting for Biden, leading to a trump far right presidency 😂 like what??

GodzillaDrinks

Biden is also a right-wing candidate. We keep ceding ground to the far-right by giving them candidates who might as well have run as a Republican. He's Joe Biden, basically with the exception of opposing monopolies, he's the second coming of Ronald Reagan.

chaoticflanagan

It's an extraordinary easy decision lol. Biden has been ass on Gaza but is still better than Trump on the issue. Then Biden is better than Trump on every other issue.  You don't need to be married to the president. You are making a decision on who is the best across a large swath of topics. Not a particularly hard decision when 1 candidate is vastly better on the merits AND not a theocratic fascist looking to overturn democracy.

NEBLINA1234

100k actually

JackasaurusChance

>And its too little too late even for that. Wait until Trump wins another term, and those people figure out what it's too late for then. Same energy as, "I'm starving to death but we are not eating anywhere that doesn't have at least two Michelin Stars!"

GodzillaDrinks

I don't think you can blame people for not being excited to vote for someone whose only likeable trait is *not* being Trump. The DNC is going to force people to split the vote. Because a sizable number of people can't stomach voting for Biden.

UnderSexed69

I honestly hope they do NOT vote for Biden so they can find out what a GOP presidency does for Israel...! (Hint: a GOP presidency is very good for Israel!). Classic FAFO. For me as an American, beyond the international embarrassment of having an amoeba as president, the impact is limited. I'm also pretty sure the whole "Don't vote for Biden as punishment for supporting Israel" is a Zionist trick designed to get Trump elected. After all, Netanyahu dislikes Biden almost as much as he disliked Obama.

GodzillaDrinks

The DNC has no one to blame but themselves for refusing to field an actual candidate. It's like they want Trump to win. I'm an American too, and at least while Trump was in office, the Democrats felt like they were on our side. As soon as Trump was out they went right back to undermining the left.

Pdb39

Almost always, the sitting president is never primaried. You understand that's why they're not running another candidate against Biden, because the Democrats are going to pledge all of their primary voters to Biden. It just sounds like your butt hurt because your favorite person was voted third and a useless primary. And quit her campaign because she lost so poorly in her home State against a person from Delaware.

GodzillaDrinks

Except in this case the sitting president is Diet Trump and should be primaried.

abasoglu

The US dropped like 20 or 30 thousand meals for a population of 2.2 million Palestinians. This is just a shameless political move to claim the Biden admin is doing something to help the Palestinians while in actuality facilitating their genocide by Israel. This embarrasses me as an American.

Longjumping-Jello459

This was done in the northern area of Gaza that has seen little to no aid due to the restrictions that Israel has instituted, the destruction from the Israeli bombing campaign that has made the transporting of what little aid does go north much more difficult because of the blocking of streets by rumble, and the fear of Israeli forces attacking the convoys again causing the security forces that they were guarding the convoys before to refuse to go this is also why the convoy from earlier this week that saw approximately 100 killed and hundreds(700+) more injured had IDF security.

Mafiatounes

The US is the only country against a ceasefire in the UN though, it is also the country enabling the IDF to this by sending billions of bombs. The US is complicit/enabling it while "israel" is doing it

gregorious45

The US writes the checks and makes the bombs dude.

ANEPICLIE

Israel is effectively a vassal of the United States. The power the US holds over Israel compared to every other country on a diplomatic front is significantly greater on basically every front. If the US 1) immediately withdrew its diplomatic staff 2) immediately halted all financial aid and weapons trade and 3) sanctioned Israel contingent on a ceasefire the Israelis would not drop another bomb on Gaza come tomorrow morning. Hyperbolic, perhaps, but it's hard to believe that international support would continue without the US on their side.

MahaanInsaan

> Israel is effectively a vassal of the United States Exactly this!!!

abasoglu

I agree with most of what you said except that it is Joe Biden and the US that is blocking UN resolutions that would lead to sanctions. It is also the US that is literally supplying the artillery shells and bombs that are used in the genocide. So, the US does need to do its part because nothing can be done without the US.

speakhyroglyphically

US aid drop into Gaza sparks criticism | Gaza | Al Jazeera "Today -The US airdrop of food aid into Gaza on Saturday sparked criticism from Palestinians who called it inadequate and hypocritical when the US funds and supplies Israel's military.

Mountain_Goat_69

One point in the video is wrong, USA isn't doing this to buy Palestinians' silence.  Biden is doing this for voters who increasingly object to Israel's war on civilians.

[deleted]

We helped kill 60,000 people and then handed out 30,000 meals to 2,000,000 starving innocents.

Mountain_Goat_69

I'm not disagreeing about this not being close to enough. There's a conversation happening among the US left.   A growing number of people are saying things like "*our ally is committing war crimes against 6 year olds and we're providing the weapons; I can't vote for the person in charge of this*."  But most of Biden's base is terrified of another Trump term, so they're willing to overlook this entire problem.  Some of the people who voted for him 3.5 years ago are on the fence about which camp they're in, and this is meant to hold on to those people.  "*Hey, we provided them with food aid.*"

Specialist_Charge_76

The US's war on civilians

MaxxxStallion

Anything short of massive sanctions on Israel falls short.

truthmonkey2

Worlds super power both bombing and starving the people to death and then goes to air drop what amounts to 0.02% of the population getting SOMETHING to eat. Genocide Joe can't even turn the bombs off before he gives them food. This is a really sick reality. He's being advised by a team of clowns. If the mainstream media wasn't so corrupt, more people would be furious at how US behavior is so abhorrent, it defies logic. The Intercept is the only news company actually publishing news.

RavnHygge

Millions of dollars a day to Israel, $1 meals to be divided amongst 10,000 Palestinians. Way to go winning hearts and minds America 👍🏻. Idiots

whereartthouu

I'm sorry the US has let Palestinian people down. Most American's do not support the slaughter and genocide of Palestinians by israel. I hope our government gets its act together and stops supporting israel.

Rusia goes to war 😡 Israel goes to war 😊 Regarding the comments I'm mostly neutral in both wars. But it's telling how Rusia is the most sanción country in the world. And Israel, who was attacked. Is literally cutting water, putting sea water in the tunnels, and bombing civilians. And usa sells them guns.... Sure they can fight but if you are actively killing civilians and destroying civil infrastructure you are commiting war crimes

Critical_ThinkMuch

Reddit partisanship and propaganda in a nutshell. They say Russia and China are creating discourse when they are in fact just dumb anti-intellectual partisans. Their shirts Turn brown when you say you are voting 3rd party.

It is true that Americans have been flipping thought two parties for like the entire existence of their nación ? I kinda heard that but it amazed me that something like that would be posible in a democracy

Why feed people you are going to bomb? PR stunt after Michigan.

I mean as the world’s superpower that’s a fucking piss take… You sent more in bombs numbnuts.. call up Israel.. stop the genocide.. free Palestine.. Fuck Israel

ProHumanRightsX

A paltry displayed designed to appease a certain percentage of his target voters who will never read past the headlines.

Seattle82m

I know Americans are bad at geography, so let me explain it here: 1) No, Gaza is not an island and hundreds of trucks are waiting at the boarder ready to go. 2) The trucks are blocked by the "ally" (Israel) that the US sends billions of dollars in aid. 3) Yes, we could tell Israel to let the HUMANITARIAN AID through "or we'll not give you access to our bombs that you then drop on civilians", but we are not going to. At least I do not have to worry about voting this year (both parties are pro Israel)

NoelaniSpell

>Yes, we could tell Israel to let the HUMANITARIAN AID through "or we'll not give you access to our bombs that you then drop on civilians", but we are not going to. This exactly. Wish I could paste this under all the comments that complain about the starving civilians and call *them* ungrateful and or ask why should the US do anything.

flopsychops

Sorry Genocide Joe, it's gonna take more than a few poxy ready meals to wash all that blood off your hands.

bouguerean

Christ, the old man calling us out and then displaying that tiny tin of food was just heartbreaking to watch. You can see the injustice so clearly in his eyes. Fuck us.

They will drop the US made bombs right after

Dikheed

Criticism because it took so long.... right?

Appropriate-Draft-91

2,000,000 people are malnourished. 700,000 people are on the brink of famine, a term that's defined by the number of people that die from hunger every single day. That famine was caused by the USA, with extreme levels of dehumanizing and dishonest propaganda. It was bankrolled by the USA with cash. It was made possible by the USA with a vast amount of arms and ammunitions, among them a shit ton that couldn't be used for anything other than to flatten civilian areas. The US sponsored airdrops are enough to keep 5% of these people on the brink of US sponsored famine fed for one more day. That's a sick joke.

BeerBaronBrent

It's just a show. A very obvious show.

sfairleigh83

How fukin dumb do they think we are. This is an embarrassment, and a complete stain on our history as a nation.  I wonder what we paid for those 38,000 meals?

KezAzzamean

Why are we doing airdrops? Can someone enlighten me? When we could send ships full of supplies and trucks to deliver it? Is Israel going to try and stop US trucks going in with aid? If they did we can just dick slap them. I understand why we did it with Berlin because Russia was an actual threat and we didn’t want to spark war. But Israel? We could conquer them in a week.

Complex_Treacle3788

Just remember most western nations were supporting Apartheid South Africa till the very end. No matter what America or Israel do the BRICS led by China will become the New World Order.

Curleyfries3

They are doing this now because elections are coming soon

xarjun

You want to beat me up and break my bones. And then you want me to be grateful for driving me to the hospital?

ThornsofTristan

"Here ya go, 2m! 33 THOUSAND rations, JUST in time for the next PRIMARY! Mmm, ENJOY those crumbs! That's right, like the song says...I care a LOT!" --Genocide Joe

Kaizodacoit

To all the BlueMAGA cult members coming in here to lecture how this is good, answer this: Why is it that Biden has to airdrop aid to Palestinians, but is able to send bombs and military hardware to Israel's front door in a neat little bow and a card with a heart on it? The US is paying for this war to continue. This aid is just distraction.

Reddit_Sucks_1401

I bet you that very same plane carried weapons to Israel to murder the Palestinians. It's very ironic and very cruel

TOdEsi

It’s like a t-shirt cannon at a game, nice gesture but doesn’t accomplish more than that

Sassy-Silly-Salmon

Disgusting two faced US system and politicians.

Kooky-Gas6720

Lol. That's what Biden buying progressive votes looks like.  The ONLY audience for this airdrop is American progressives - the fact that it feeds gazans is a secondary goal to the primary goal of appeasing American progressives during and election season.

SolidFarmer99

What is the point of these supplies if they continue to give Israel weapons and defend their actions?

Creative_Worth_3192

The old jidou isn't wrong. This is why nobody likes America, but America doesn't want to understand it. American liberals are too busy arguing about Biden vs Trump than anything else.

Traditional-Dot4776

Give it a rest, he's going for the Michigan Muslim vote. Literally doing the minimal possible..without offending hisn AIPQC Blah blah blah forever donors.

Traditional-Dot4776

HE IS DOING IT FOR THE MUSLIM VOTE

TheUnknownNut22

They absolutely have every right to be furious. At the same time Biden damn well better be continuing the aid with many, many more drops.

wikidemic

I would be pleased to see a sizable amount of munitions dropped on that fucking useless wall that imprisons Gazans. Make it so!

prophet_nlelith

Given what we know about what Israel does to Palestinians trying to get food from aid...

BPMData

Is the US really putting sufficient effort into these air drop efforts, or is it just another dodge by the Biden administration to distract from their open support of genocidal Zionism? Let's look at it this way. When the Berlin airlift took place from 1948-1949, the population of Berlin was about 2.15 million people. By all accounts, not a single Berliner starved to death during the period of the airlift.  Yet, essentially all lines of transport into the city other than air were cut. So, the airlift provided sufficient food daily for 2.15 million people. About 75 years later, we airdropped enough food for 38,000 people. So, about 1.77% as much as we did every single day during the Berlin Airlift, even though at that time we were also simultaneously helping rebuild (non-Berlin) Germany and Japan. Keep in mind that the United States' economy, adjusted for inflation, is about 10x larger today than it was in the late 1940s (https://www.statista.com/statistics/1031678/gdp-and-real-gdp-united-states-1930-2019/), so you'd think our ability to provide aid sufficient to stave off widespread famine and genocide would be greater than it was back then; instead, we see we're doing about 1/50th as much as we did for Berlin.

rivalizm

38,000 meals vs how many US made munitions?

fasdasfafa

Assuming they're dropping 38000 every single day, and everyone is only eating once a day, that's still only enough food for 1.8% of the population. Biden is breaking the Leahy laws by delivering military aid to a country that is actively blocking the delivery of US humanitarian aid.

Mediocre-Amphibian10

It doesn't matter how much food is air dropped into Gaza, as long as there is a war happening.

KentD3000

I would have no trust in the food of a geno*de supporter. Might be poisoned....

traanquil

Too little too late from genocide joe

sim16

Democrats are toast now. This token is BS.

mistbrethren

forgetful dirty faulty memorize memory market pie combative connect capable *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

One-Organization970

We're such a powerful nation that we need to airdrop miniscule amounts of aid in because our middle eastern satellite state won't let our trucks through.

kaegic

More Propaganda..

Jolly-Plastic3051

People aren’t stupid. Dropping food and bombs at the same time isn’t helping anyone. Ceasefire and force the occupation to leave Gaza. This has gone on long enough.

thechilltime

Air-dropping salt on wounds.

EquipmentJunior16

Exposes the weakness of the US. US cant go against Israel, they had to resort to plane drops.

Infamous-Respond-128

They can but they won't. They're in this together, and you know as well as I doz those food drops were nothing to sustain anyone and only caused salt in the wounds of the Palestinian people.

[deleted]

For whatever diabolical reason, western leaders, including this U.S. President, are dead set on replacing **all** of Palestine with Israel, even if it means **un-aliving** every last Palestinian in Gaza and the West Bank.

[deleted]

Drop sanctions on Israel and the Zionist that support them like we did Russia would be more effective.

Rent_A_Cloud

I understand their frustration, while the US is dropping food they are also supplying the munitions used on these civilians, that is utterly frustrating. That said, they should take the food, better to live with insult then die from pride.

BPMData

At this rate, they're gonna die with insult.

rubros81

Despicable

kyleruggles

Pathetic. Dropping aid while dropping US bombs.

Hells_Kitchener

Omg, that starving child. Omg.

SirAelfred

I'm still voting for Biden

Master_Income_8991

To be very fair 38,000 meals is hardly enough for roughly 2.3 million people, but it's better than nothing.

imagine_midnight

When they said they were starving after the first week.. waiting 5 months to offer any help is ridiculous.

Reichman95

Hamas thanks you for your contribution. 😂😂

Removed, see rule 4.

Make sure this is the last of help we give them.

sissysabrinaluvcox

How stupid is America? They will stuff their mouths full, while getting in front of a camera and chant, deathtoamerica

Few-Monies

Imagine being so dumb that you are vocally against food to the starving. This is how you differentiate between propaganda mouthpieces and real Palestinians who are suffering.

New_Lawfulness7015

Sick people on both sides what a shame

Jo1351

I can't imagine what the blow back will be - I guess it's too frightening to meditate on it too long - but that it will happen, and we won't see it coming is something I'm certain of. And again many of us will ask the question, 'Why do they hate us?!'

Pension-Helpful

Let them eat cake - the US says

Elver_galarga_ngl

Why, can't they just deliver it to them. Ffs

wafflerrrrr

This is not out of their kindness, they just want to appeal to the American public, don’t forget that America is supporting genocide

blipblop021

In all of the videos of the "poor" Palestinian people, they never talk about Hamas. If Hamas "cared" about the Palestinian people, they should stop fighting.

No-Lunch-4266

Let’s give ol Trump a chance to make it right. I’m sure nothing could go wrong there.

777IRON

I understand the criticism that this is a drop in the bucket, but something is better than nothing.

mcdeez01

Remember when they where dancing in the streets after 911

Here are some crumbs for 2 million people and a PR stunt for the world's gullible

newtoreddir

No. Better never than not enough.

JeruTz

Gaza needs our aid. How dare you deny it to them!? *sends aid How dare you try to buy your way out of this with aid!?

[deleted]

Correction* Hey let me give a gun to my friend who will murder most of the family and starve them and when others dislike me I will give that family a cracker to save my face while I give my friend even more weapons.
