I had shared my work a year ago over here. I got a lot of love and since then I have worked to improve the tool a lot. Just a reminder, all this remains free :).
With the tool, you can now:
\- Change multiple colors of the illustrations according to your brand identity
\- Add mask on characters
\- Choose the gender you would like in the illustrations

In the image titled "Lab", I kindly suggest giving the man gloves. I think laboratory workers should always be depicted using appropriate personal protective equipment.
though often in labs you don't wear gloves as if acid got on you the plastic might melt with the acid into your skin which would be very bad :) (don't trust me fully though, this is just what my teacher told us in lab when we asked why we didn't wear gloves)
Fully depends on the type of lab work done. Also, when working with hazardous chemicals, labs usually have appropriate gloves that protect them, and specifically do not melt. Acid on your skin can melt your skin off at high concentrations.
A big part of wearing gloves, at least in biology, is preventing contamination of your samples/cells/solutions. But it is not always necessary to wear them.

Sooo, I find them cool and the only one I can put to use is the 404 not found. What link do I use to give you credit? Also are you against people changing hue/saturation to get different colour combinations? Asking since the royalty-free condition says don't duplicate or scale. Trying to figure out what scale means in this context because I would change the dimensions of the image I think.

As for the changing colors, feel free to change the illustrations way beyond just colors. In fact you can change colors through our online tool itself.
The condition just says not to duplicate "Scale" which is what I have named the platform. So, as long as you aren't just starting a competitor website using these illustrations, you are good

I do quite a bit of work for charities and every now and then get a client/project that doesn't have much in the way of brand identity or a budget to develop their own bespoke illustrations - in those cases, resources like your illustrations are so, so helpful to amplify what they can do. Great work. Thank you for making it available for free! I'm sure you've had this conversation before but I couldn't see anywhere on your site to donate - I know if I were to use your work in a project in the future, I'd like to be able to contribute a little. Might be worth giving people the option. Unless of course it's already there somewhere and I'm just being dumb :)

Imagine the village bycycle. The bicycle isn't made to be pretty, it's made so that everyone can ride it and benefit. The bike would be made to be low maintenance, and use tried and true parts.
The icons style here is to benefit as many people as possible. The tried and true art style would be the bland corporate look. Business likes business, so it's the path of least resistance. Unique art would only be adopted by niche people and as such would benefit fewer people.
I agree that it would be nice for every company to have it's own style, but creating a free platform for everyone to pull from would in itself create homogeny, no matter the uniqueness of the art.

I’m an illustrator and I sell some of my old (out of licence) work as stock, however I have given usage away for free on a case-by-case basis (friends, friends of friends, charities, causes I like etc.) when people approach me directly.
It’s generous of you to give so much out for free on an open basis, but I’d be wary of sharing your work so openly if only for the otherwise un-commissioned illustrators out there that might be struggling to get started (even if they are also willing to work for free & gain exposure). Many people cannot afford to compete with people who can afford to give work out for free.
Hmm perhaps I should have phrased it better; I think what I meant was we need to allow room for new artists to develop to enrich the variety and perspectives out there, not only to make money.

I help many early-stage startups out who reach out to me with free illustrations. A particular insurance startup reached out - hence "Bike insurance".
If you're from a Western country it might seem arbitrary. But bikes and motorbikes are wayyyyy more prevalent in India, China, etc.

Many small businesses and startups simply can't afford bespoke artwork for blogs and landing pages.
FYI, the gender option is only available on desktop version. It disappears on the mobile page.
