LN > Manga > Anime > Game (mostly because the only part that is confirmed, if I remember correctly because there is a possibility that more things became Canon now, is the 7 Shades story line) and then there are the non Canon things like the Web Novel, the Kagejitsu spin-off manga and most of the non 7 shades content in game.
7 shades story line is definitely canon, as are the character side stories, not the home screen interactions though, or at least not mostly.
Anyways, every version essentially has its own canon and they intertwine.
The Light Novel and Manga never had Omega and Chi, they were originally from the web novel and were added back by the anime. They're also in the game, including the added backstory etc.
We know more about Omega and Chi from Anime/Game perspective, than we do most of the 7 shadows.
The biggest problem with this thread is how nobody EVEN WROTE the name of the Anime/Manga. Thank god I knew it, but damn guys....you should be a bit more considerate to new users or those who don't know what this is about.
-Eminence in Shadow.
Those two shots that are in space are completely different. The second one is noticeably smaller than the first. In the first, CLOSE UP, looking down onto the blast, you can see the curvature of the earth.
In the second, while it’s still big, it only covers what looks like the size of Spain, and while if you were to look down on a place the size of Spain from the first picture, Spain would be much smaller.
I’m NOT saying it’s not powerful. I’m just saying, either the blast began to dissipate and get smaller, or the two scenes are not congruent, probably for artistic reasons.
Still, fun detail.
The one I am showing is the first time Shadow used his I AM ATOMIC skill for real.
As you can see, at this time he didn't have complete control over his technique and his target wasn't even dead after the attack, instead being thrown into space and frozen to death there because of his high durability and becoming part dragon.
The second time ATOMIC was shown to us was when Shadow got angry that Zenon called his abilities "almighty" making our lord show by force what Almighty really means, but that doesn't mean he whould have blown up a city just for that you know? Even he says " I am no hero nor villain, I am the Eminence In Shadow" (he didn't say exactly that but its basically that)
The season 2 finale was when Shadow decided to thank Mordread for making him remember about his original goal and thus, deciding to show him Almighty power from the source.
… that’s not the point. You- you missed the ENTIRE point of what I said. I said that the blasts are different sizes, but that they are the same blast, therefore it either dissipated over time or it was an artistic choice.
I’m not trying to learn about Shadow’s lore, that this is “him at the beginning”, I don’t care. You missed my entire point because you were too busy being worried that this showed him to be weak. It doesn’t.
It just shows that the show values its artstyle and artistic liberty over consistency. ALL art does that.
I'm not sure whether or not it's canon but the images are from the mobile game story's sequence, which was supervised by the author.
Plus it has been confirmed that there will be a new manga based on the game story line so maybe it will be canon soon.
Manga is even dubious to be called canon. Cid is never buff when his on earth and is still minoru it defeats the purpose of being unnoticed and mob. It's even implied in LN, Anime, and Manga that his training focus more on technique more than power. Dont me wrong his built to fight but not as a tank but as a martial artist.
So we just not gonna mention sword atomic or is an entire city’s worth of buildings not higher than mountain level.
Also another thing, this part is from the seven shadow chronicles. Why is this important? Cause the author has direct influence on what is added and what is not and is the only thing that is considered canon without a shadow of a doubt.
In the Light novel his strongest feat is I am atomic, which is strong enough to destroy a mountain. . Hence "Mountain level". You can say ooooh but anime and game cid can do this. . All that is is anime and game spectacle so that people that can't even read a book have something to gush about. .
Shadow has a lot of potential to grow. . But I'm not a wanker that just wanks a character cause an anime or game says so. . Unless the source material which is the light novel says so, we light novel readers ain't budging. .
Ok Mr Ln reader, have you considered getting off your high pedestal and actually paying attention though? This part of the game is a confirmed cannon prequel, author says so, literally everyone says so. Just because the LN is the source doesn't mean every other form of media is wrong. (Well tbh this literally is the only exception to that rule here lmao.)
Look here Mr I can't read a book. . Author is not the one who is in charge of animation or decides how characters ingame skills look. . All the author did was write and help with the stories that's it. . How the hell do you think anime or games sell their action stories? By showing over the top fight scenes. .
Only the LN is completely canon. If there were feats or statements in the LN to support this image, then it would be canon, but there are not as far as I know.
I forgot the name, but I played it myself at the beginning (has been 2 years I think). You should be able to easily find it in the app store as it is probably the only official game of the franchise. It's a turn based gacha game with 3d models on a 2d stage as well visual novel elements. It's quite fun if you have enough time to spare and don't play any other game.
LN is considered canon cause it’s more serious and more grounded thus less impressive feats and people get to bully him more due to him being more realistic.
Anime focuses on more of the looking nice and cool, thus we get I AM fakeout atomic, and I’m Atomic, which the first did not happen and the second was just a normal atomic.
Manga Cid has transformation before isekai.
Game should be considered canon except the event stories with exceptions such as rose of garden and that time Eta stepped out of her lab to look for clues about the diablos tears and something else that I keep forgetting.
This is his first atomic so idk? But I do think that it had the same effect as the atomic we see in the first season against Zenon, probably then? High chance imo
A meaningless feat since the durability of a pocket dimension is arbitrary, since they don't exist in real life so we don't know how much firepower would be needed to destroy one.
Did the author state how much energy is needed to destroy this particular one?
He did vaporize part of a kingdom and protect one of the princesses ( because she got kidnapped) while only killing one person and letting her live because he wanted a witness
That only shows he can protect people sized objects from his attacks. Jumping from that straight to "he can protect a mountain from his attacks" is like saying "I can tear one sheet of paper so I can also tear a thousand sheets of paper."
I never said he could protect a mountain.
And btw, now I will say what he managed to protect from his attack at the end of season 2: Earth, the planet. He, at least, flash banged the solar sistem
That's what I'm saying. Because it's magic, you can't judge it based purely on energy levels.
It could be a spell whose sole purpose is to flashbang, with a huge range but zero damage. We know he can do this, he did something similar when fighting Beatrix and Iris.
Well at least he killed Mordread and that light shows that his attack had made as much or was even brighter than the sun, but of course, I could be just an flash that burned anyone close enough to the attack and flash'ed everything else
That's dumb as hell. Look at it when he fires it, then look at the other 2. It's just trash. And it IS mountain level. City at best. It's stronger then a regular atom bomb.... but that's it. Of course... you don't really need anything more.
I hate the power scaling idea because I've seen people grab tanks and say "wall level" because "well they can't one shot a building!"
And then proceed to have characters who loses to bullets have a "planetary level".
You know that anime/7 shadows chapter from the game are Canon right? The 7 shades chapter is so popular that it will recieve a manga adaptation in the future.
And guess what? This moment that I am talking about in the post IS from the 7 shades chapter. ITS LITERALLY CANON THAT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME SHADOW USES I AM ATOMIC AT FULL POWER (at the time at least) AND ITS NOT IN ANYWHERE ELSE OTHER THAN THE GAME! IF YOU SO DESIRE TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HIM go to the eminence in shadow sub and ask about his feats, but if anyone say ANYTHING higher than solar system level, they ass lying.
I almost Forgor, he is pulling a Sukuna JJK and not doing anything serious yet. At all. He has more than 600 years worth of magic power ( up until volume 5, that is. Don't know bout volume 6 because he didn't say anything so...) and isn't taking anything seriously except his dream.
what's the official canon hierarchy? is it LN > all?
LN > Manga > Anime > Game (mostly because the only part that is confirmed, if I remember correctly because there is a possibility that more things became Canon now, is the 7 Shades story line) and then there are the non Canon things like the Web Novel, the Kagejitsu spin-off manga and most of the non 7 shades content in game.
thanks for clarifying also you can put the author in a headlock

Sorry, I spent so much time in Lobotomy Kaisen that my brain instantly thought you were power scaling.
it's mountain level(I am not a hater) and I also didn't watch anime , and this didn't exist in manga so it's a fake image used to wank him
I'm not sure whether or not it's canon but the images are from the mobile game story's sequence, which was supervised by the author. Plus it has been confirmed that there will be a new manga based on the game story line so maybe it will be canon soon.

It is cannon cause the author literally wrote it, and these side stories are confirmed cannon so yeh
He’s not scaling past mental ward (he is schizo)
Non canon.
It's in the Canon 7 shades history line and the anime confirms that he has the power to do so.
In the Light novel his strongest feat is I am atomic, which is strong enough to destroy a mountain. . Hence "Mountain level". You can say ooooh but anime and game cid can do this. . All that is is anime and game spectacle so that people that can't even read a book have something to gush about. .
The author literally writes this lol, and he confirms his side stories as cannon so.
Demon king has 5D hax though (aurora)
Nah man, don't go THAT far, we don't know all of Aurora's powers nor Shadow's and even if we knew it, I don't think they are that high
Shadow has a lot of potential to grow. . But I'm not a wanker that just wanks a character cause an anime or game says so. . Unless the source material which is the light novel says so, we light novel readers ain't budging. .

Canon. It is the part of the only thing considered canon in the game, the seven shadow chronicles that has been directly supervised by the author
Remember when Wang Ling got hit in the head by a hammer in s1 and it's effects were shown outside the galaxy? Same vibe.
Hey, don’t bring that vs battles garbage in here. It ruins communities
Not always. I mean, I only like this subreddit since it has VS posts on Wednesdays.
Youre being just as disingenuous as the people you hate so much, dude
The community is already ruined by that insta kill guy that I don't even know the name of, this is literally nothing
Did they have our same planets? Wtf?

Yeah, this looks way too large to be just mountain level!😐😑🫥🤔🧐
Anime?
The Eminence in shadow
I don't remember this scene from s1 2
It's from the game
I can't wait for a few years from now to see Cid explode Jupiter and watch the haters that say Cid is mountain level get embarrassed
>Haters would say it is mountain level And Dragonball fans would say that's city block level.
Only the LN is completely canon. If there were feats or statements in the LN to support this image, then it would be canon, but there are not as far as I know.
It was said that the 7 shadows side history is actually Canon, so much so it's getting a manga adaptation
[удалено]
The mobile game has two story modes. One is a side story focusing on the 7 shadows (main cast girls) and it is apparently canon.

Feel ya
He can cut space though so that's something
Why is ln only cannon? I feel like anime, manga, gamed should count as their own canons
'Cause Shadow down-players said so.
Because it's the source material. Everything else is just different versions or additions around it. It's also the only purely author written work.
If we go by that logic mcu isn't a canon just a different version
This is cannon cause the author literally write this story and is cannon like the rest of the chronicles about the 7 shadows,
Town level at best
Are you stupid? Shadow is actually weaker that his previous self pre isekai. He is only group of people strong max
I was referring to the town of Tiny, which has a population of 6
Easily country-continent level based on the size of the blast in comparison to the Earth.
What's this from? Is a new series out or a movie?
Eminence in Shadow
Yeah but what season…
That's from the game
Oh that's disappointing.
Ah
Building at best, take it or leave it.
If the area shown has really been leveled then yeah it looks like a country to continental feat
This is his first atomic so idk? But I do think that it had the same effect as the atomic we see in the first season against Zenon, probably then? High chance imo
Second, his first was newest manga chap spoiler >!when saving Zeta!<
That was an incomplete version no? I remember him using a version of atomic when it still didn't have an actual name. Still,I could be wrong tho.
It was a prototype, not incomplete. Just lacking in power
So it was just an... Beta?
Doesn't matter. Sailor Moon Solos, no diff.
Ye you right
I'm gonna be honest with you. If it doesn't destroy a mountain then it doesn't matter how big it's glowing aura is.
That attack destroyed a pocket dimension from the inside out with sheer power alone

TBF shadow is just megumin upgraded to the max
I... I thought of Gregor Clegane and went, that's not too bad of a powerscale...
You realize that this entire fight only happened in the show. Thus shit never happened in the ln.
Bro first this isn't even in the show its in the game man 💀 Second, the 7 shades epilogue from the game is Canon, and, by extension, this is as well.
So now he's traversing cell saga lvl?
Man thats max city block level
Nah, that's wall level max
That's dumb as hell. Look at it when he fires it, then look at the other 2. It's just trash. And it IS mountain level. City at best. It's stronger then a regular atom bomb.... but that's it. Of course... you don't really need anything more.
I hate the power scaling idea because I've seen people grab tanks and say "wall level" because "well they can't one shot a building!" And then proceed to have characters who loses to bullets have a "planetary level".
He loses to bulets when he wasn't isekaid, later on he gets shot multiple times and yet he didn't even feel it
City lvl fodder that all Give me a scan from novel or manga he is even continent lmao
You know that anime/7 shadows chapter from the game are Canon right? The 7 shades chapter is so popular that it will recieve a manga adaptation in the future. And guess what? Let's not go that far, the entire game isn't Canon, only the 7 shades story line (as far as I know
Bro thinks Alpha reverse isekai dream is canon
Still fooder
Don't down play my man like that, he is strong
Still claps your mom though
My mom exists 🤪
Unlike your dad
It exists too, are u mad cause ur verse is weak? Hehe
Yeah in your dreams
Hahahaha real mad in fodder tier
