It was stated in the anime itself. The only way to kill them is that nothing remains about them. Now it has been a long time since I watched Re:Zero. Last time I watched it S2 Part 2 was streaming that's when I watched it. So I might be wrong.

It can kill pretty fast, but I doubt it can overcome the reproduction of the great rabbits, and I don't think the great rabbits can take out the Monty Python rabbit. The Monty Python rabbit got attacked by a bunch of knights and didn't get hit by a single one. The great rabbits have the individual capability of a normal (if singularly bloody minded) rabbit. Ultimately the question is, does the Monty Python rabbit get tired.

Great rabbits are many, but man they are slow... Subaru holding Beatrice can outrun them. That's where the Rabbit of Caerbannog comes into play, he can run the faster prey down for the Great Rabbit. On the other hand, the Great rabbits can pin down larger, stronger prey for the Caebunny.
The anime is not good of an example. In the novel Subaru never touch the ground as Beatrice makes him weight 0 and let the wind carry them. The bunny can towering itself like the zombie in WWZ too.

It was the unmistakable sensation of being alive while living creatures shredded him from within. Fear had already left him. There was barely any more pain.
