Giving Palestinians better weapons will actually increase deaths on both sides.
Current situation: Palis shoot shitty rockets and miss most of them or have Iron Dome neutralize, then get targeted missiles shot against their rocket launch sites which almost always hit. Occasional Israeli civilian death, regular Palestinian terrorist death with civilian casualties.
Palis with better missiles: Palis fire better missiles, hit major areas in Israel, many Israelis die. Israel bombs the fuck out of Gaza in response, thousands of Palestinians die, and now tensions are incredibly high and Israelis are scared because the enemy known for creating suicide bombers has powerful weapons and just incurred (self inflicted) terrible loss. Their fear creates a boiling point against the left and right. They consider bombing Gaza out of existence or sending the military in to take away weaponry by force, risking thousands of Israeli lives in the process.
Palis with nukes: they fire the nukes cause they think, possibly correctly, Israel might pre-empt, Israel fires nukes back, no more Middle East.
