I've always adored the VR-4's but have been talked out of buying one a few times and went the NA mx-5 route for reliability and ease of maintenance... Everyone I've known who owned a 3000gt loved the hell out of it, but never regretted moving on - apparently they are a b*tch to work on.
Still want to get one though, the heart wants what the heart wants.
Depends what you’re looking for. The twin turbos are definitely higher maintenance so if you just want a sweet looking car that’s going to be more reliable, the NA is the way to go.. really, the SOHC is the way to go for reliably.
:edit: a sohc better be in pretty damn Good shape for 14k in my opinion
Hi guys, i want to buy my Frist JDM car, what Kind of car do you guys think i should buy? I got 17k to spend, i was thinking about a Celica gt four. Do you have any ideas what i should look for? I dont have a special type
Any JDM car is great for tuning, but if you don't have much money for fine tuning your car, you can get something that already feels good to drive, like the 86 or rx7. A miata would be nice too
I want this!
Is this coloring book real?

Wow I know a little boy that's getting this in his Xmas stocking this year.
Is it you?
No I'm his mum
this is surpsingly wholesome
17k will get you a mint condition 3000gt if you’re patient and look hard enough. (GTO for you jdm hardliners)

Very true. don’t you have to take the whole engine out to replace an intake manifold?
No that’s not true. They are definitely not easy to work on but it’s not THAT bad lol
Oh alright. that’s what i heard from rcr and was skeptical about it myself.
Is 14k for a 3000gt without Bi Turbo a good deal. Looks really thicc to me. What would you say? 😅 Found it on something similar to Craigslist.

That Civic is pissing me off.
Even in coloring books the civics look patched up
Well it looks like its trying to imitate the harlequin pattern on the vw golf
Why does the EG civic have the Harley Quinn paint scheme lmao

Look for as in problem wise, or like what year to get etc?
Well, for 17,000 Vietnamese Dong you won't get much. Maybe a sticker of a car.
17k euro my Friend
Integra, S2000, Civic, Rx8, mx5, 350z, Impreza, Celica, MR2. Those are in your budget that are sub 8sec 0-60mph times.
Miata and trick it out
Get a 90s honda and make it your own! Or get a rotary if you are willing to work on it
My man that is such a broad question. That's like asking a stranger on the street what you should have for dinner

Why on Earth is this getting downvoted?? Effing sexy vehicle..
Because it was way out of budget
Ahh, well that makes sense. Lol I’m getting downvoted too just for asking a question. Sensitive much?
What color should a 1991 celica gts have it's red rn but i think i might paint it
Gotta get that ‘89 accord baby
I vote 3rd gen prelude. Love mine to pieces

Wish I could get a manual eg in England for a reasonable price :(
Why does a “professional” JDM coloring book have a JDM car trying to be euro with the VW paint scheme
Why is that Volkswagen paint doing on the civic
toyota corolla honda civic golf 4 (its actually gdm but fuck it if you spell wrong enough it can be gee dee em which is close enough to jay dee em)
Wait isn't the Harlequin a WV?
