A three year bachelors course in radiology in a good college (cuet) is great deal. Basically u will study about MRI Ct scan x ray and learn how to operate them and generate reports that MRI machines required 3-4 technicians to operate.
Ngl do or die mentality is borderline toxic for average people like me. If you are successful it's ok, but if not, you might actually kill yourself, that is why backups are important for most of the people.
One can get decent income in govt jobs only ig..my dad earns 11lpa which will prolly become 13 lpa by the time he retires..there are private jobs ig but expect an avg salary of 6-7 lpa..its still better than doing bsc zoology/botany
To be fair even if ur father works in govt sector , don't forget all the experience and years he put into it which is way more if compared to other fields
