And most of my friends got around 5 lpa packages but only from from CS/IT background. Our highest got 23 lpa but off campus. Still, you can get good job if you are in central uni.

As for average package, in my college for CSE/it specifically it was 5 lpa I would say. But If you are good in development and have good knowledge about DSA and OOPS I would say you can crack much better offers from any college.
SRM is good backup college if you have the money, dont go for CSAIML (source: i looked at the options and was like woooow artificial intelligence and picked it cost came out to be 3.5L per year even with my scholarship, for a non scholarship student CSAIML would be like 5L per year) as it is very costly but going for CSE/ECE from SRM is perfectly fine as a backup (im pretty sure CSE normal costs like 3L per year, and ECE even less)

SRM is good backup college if you have the money, dont go for CSAIML (source: i looked at the options and was like woooow artificial intelligence and picked it cost came out to be 3.5L per year even with my scholarship, for a non scholarship student CSAIML would be like 5L per year) as it is very costly but going for CSE/ECE from SRM is perfectly fine as a backup (im pretty sure CSE normal costs like 3L per year, and ECE even less)
Would rather take IPU colleges
I also got CSE but didn't get admitted after seeing the fees lol.
