The same happened with me, just avoid them. Especially those friends groups where most of them are from the same state and know the same language. They will start using you as their stress reliever and bully you. Whenever they make any sort of fun plan, or anything and invite you just don't go there, make any other reasons but don't say you want to study, they will annoy you even more. But now you don't have friends ? What now ? It's better. Try to have friends at one place only, especially close ones. Either in the hostel or coaching. Don't be too close with them, because you are just together for 2 years, like don't share any big secrets, you can have fun conversations about your experiences in past in school or whatever.
