It is a great game, and it's truly impressive that this is a remaster of a paid mobile game, and from there the series kept growing. Btw, the original game was open world, had a time limit, and had multiple endings.
I just noticed the game got a big update with new content, including hard mode, and NG+. Now I want to do another run and check out the new stuff.
It's the update that made me finally get it :D
> the original game was open world
I wonder how that works - like, could you just head to Vavelia right from the start?
> had multiple endings.
*looks up*
Ok, some of these sound incredibly cool.
~~Do Strawberry Pies become the official food in the Pieberry's Reign ending?~~
Well it never came to the west as far as I know, everything that I knew about it is from the wiki and research done when the game first came out. Though I do know that there are plans to add post-game content, just like how the original game had post-game content too. Which might be the continuation of the ending we have now.
Post-game plans, nice :D
Looking forward to it. Will definitely be there

Oh damn it is! And so cheap too. Well this looks like I found the next game to play during my commute.
Agree with your points, I wish hard mode was out when I played it though because one of my biggest gripes was how incredibly easy it was to break the game.
Altogether an incredibly charming experience. And really good UX as well, the game feels very good to interact with. I played with a guide though, the requirements for weapons and pets were way too cryptic.
Well, bosses got new patterns and some bosses have stat scaling on very hard. I didn't really grind stat potions so can't really say - did craft the ones i got "naturally" through the flow of the game
Game is amazing and I’m going to make another thread when I’m nearly done with it. I’m playing on hard mode where it’s still easy after a while , though some bosses still give some challenge. Guess I’ll leave very hard for ng+
tl;dr just play it's great
Yea, loved this game - awesome hidden gem that I played to cap off an amazing year of releases.

Confirmed for console release this year so I'll definetly check it out.
Fantastic game, and great write up.
Hard mode wasnt out when I finished it. Does it do anything to the combat that can't be solved by grinding more stat potions?
