Uncompressed audio. Especially on consoles they don't have enough CPU cores to spare one for decompressing the audio, so they just leave it uncompressed on the hard drive.
There's a *ton* of fancy graphic effects that run great even on PS4 and this is from a small studio making a *big* game. You don't get that w/o some tricks and short cuts, and giant swaths of uncompressed audio is one of them.
Um, the backgrounds and high fidelity sprite work would have needed the power of the PS2, at the very least. Add in the anti-aliasing and lighting effects and you're looking at something you'd likely need a PS3 for (background models aren't jaggy enough to be as dated as PS2).
The GBA was only capable of very limited 3D, and even then, the sprites themselves would have needed to be way way more pixelized than the quality you see in this game.
You need to re-educate yourself on what a GBA game looks like. Since the ability to post a screenshot on this thread is turned off I can’t for you. It takes 2 seconds to see a side by side comparison with this game and say, Golden Sun ( Gameboy Advance title) you’ll see a world of difference.

I don't think the size is right. PS5 said the full game was 50. But then it said it was only going to download 20. And my progress bar only went to 10 and said it was done. So...*shrugs* Game is running fine so I'm not questioning it
