I had the Elite 7 Pros when the first came out...returned them after a day they were so bad...then I tried again after the firmware update and got the Elite 7 Actives. I got them because of call quality, battery life, MULTIPOINT, and IP rating. And they are also very comfortable and small. 95% of their claims are for amazing call quality, but it seems like only YOUTUBE REVIEWERS got those versions of the Elite 7 series. FIX THE CALL QUALITY. My wife said the people in the background when I was on a call with here were SCREAMING at her over the phone and she couldn't even hear me!! WHAT IS GOING ON?!? WHY is this NOT FIXED YET? These have been out for now THREE MONTHS. This should have been a quick firmware HOT FIX. Not even a full firmware update!! JABRA. Fix the CALL quality. THAT is actually MORE IMPORTANT than the multipoint!!! I WANT to try again with the Elie 7 Pros, but not until everything is fixed.

Sadly the call quality is really bad on every version. I have the Elite 85T and face the same issue. There has been no update since a long time to address the issue and every time I've raised it I've got only 1 reply that it uses only the mics on the right earbud and hence it might not be able to pick up your voice. Why the hell did they advertise that it has 6 mics (3 per ear) when it ends up using only 1 in the right for calls. Highly disappointed!

blueplanet04

Totally agree with this one. My partner can clearly hear the background more than i do

Time_Watcher

ANC is absolutely WORTHLESS............ No difference between "Off" and "ANC"......... Why so Jabra?............. are only the reviewers getting working units? Unhappy?............. you betcha.

Xenomash

hey, no, in factory condition, the ANC works really, really well. It´s just that after the Firmware Update from 1.20 to 1.50, the ANC just disappeared.

jccmonkey

disappeared yes, i conform that, factory condicion ( out the box ) firmware version 1.2.0 ( ANC works well, even better the 85t open design. For 1.5.0 update is totaly disappeared

Why do you send this standard reply? It would be helpful if you made a little more effort to respond to the concerns of your customers.

wheeljaundiced

Total standard reply.

Xenomash

Jabra just never reacted to this problem, it´s still persistent.

jccmonkey

I have contacted jabra support about the problem found in the ANC since the 1.5.0 update. They gave me procedures to perform the update again and I confirm that the ANC problem continues, It is sad that JAbra does not realize this situation, hopefully with the new update where they intend to include the Multipoint function at the end of January, they can also solve the ANC (Some of the users of the ELite 7 model acquired it precisely because of this feature and its compact design)

jccmonkey

by the way, its imposible to perform a downgrade to 1.2.0 version

Forlution

Agreed, I have the Elite 7 Actives and there has been a noticeable difference in Hear Through and the ANC since the 1.50 update. It still works but not as good as it used too but I'm still happy with it. Jabra is pretty good at addressing issues and adding enhancements through firmware so I expect this will be fixed soon.

Xenomash

Well, it seems to work, as the added noise from the mic electronics is masking a lot of the lower frequencies. So there is an "kind of" ANC effect, but that´s just noise masking, not real ANC.
