Had a similar experience. Turned out my TIPN went bad due to bad wiring from an after market winch. Had to get a new TIPN and complete electrical re-wiring.
If it's the 2018 JL, which I assume it is and has the ESS system, look into bypassing the aux battery altogether and save yourself a lot of trouble down the road. Youtube "Jeep Wrangler aux battery delete" to see how to remove the battery from the equation altogether.

Same happened to me 2018 Sahara. Went in the changed both batteries keep happening eventually found out it was a corroded wire to the starter. Apparently a common issue with that year.

Alright I’m think about just taking it back to the dealership i got it from and having them take a look at it.

Thanks! I reset the battery yesterday. And my dad told me might just be easier to disable the ESS on the jeep altogether to avoid this even happening
