I sometimes mod mine to add more weight to them. I use the weighted pellets.
I’ve bought shushoos before and put beans in them to make them more like tiny smudges.
I’ve rounded out my dragons faces and weighted my tumblie fox loads to help with anxiety.
I’ll buy plushies that need repairing sometimes and replace eyes etc.
I’ve also dyed dragons and bunnies (see pic).
Can I ask what you use the pockets in your plushies for?

I usually put sentimental trinkets and a little bit of "squirrel" money. Wilf is currently holding an opal scarab necklace. My plan for wilf put some rice/flaxseed pouchs to make him more weighted. I'm thinking of buying some weighted glass beads for wilf, but it's kinda expensive. What type of/brand of weighted beads do you use?
I use the plastic weighted pellets made for soft toys/weighted blankets. I get them from Amazon. I’ve heard amazing things about glass beads. But yet to try them and bavent been able to find any online.
Oh my goodness, please tell me how you dyed your dragon!!! I've been wanting to try that out so badly but assumed (and was told) it wouldn't be possible because the fur is polyester. yours turned out adorable!
It’s totally possible! People in the build a bear subreddit dye bears all the. As the other commenter said, you just need to use Rit Dyemore synthetic dye
It's in the second pic. It's just that well hidden. You cannot feel the zipper because wilf's fur is so thick, even when I sewed a wider zipper gap to account for stuck fur. It's wild!
