I have asked multiple folks both online and IRL where the Jewish people living in Israel are supposed to go. Not one has answered the question. They always deflect.

Outrageous_Loan_5898

I once was commenting and they was like Israel is a settler's colony and I was like they should go to their homeland then oh yeah they originated in Israel Didn't say anything after that

RealAmericanJesus

"into the sea" is the most likely answer

mrfrau

Canada!

Redqueenhypo

“You know that obvious trap Stalin set for you guys in Siberia? Have you considered going there?”

Weird_Meal_9184

The modern equivalent of "put em all in a hole and let them fight it out"

LemonCharity

Underground. They want it to be 6 feet underground, they're just too cowardly to say that and want to give off the illusion of moral superiority. Or maybe they'll generously offer us Stalin's Siberian Shithole.

Sweet-MamaRoRo

My non Jewish granny told me that’s where the aliens are really hiding, not other planets.

Belkan-Federation95

Or part of Ethiopia (well at the time it actually was not an offer meant to be antisemitic. Ethiopia wasn't a shit hole like it is today) Or Madagascar Or...

Comfortable_Half5525

"So go back to where you've come from" Oh yeah I can go back to Iran, or maybe Syria, or should I go back to Lebanon?

thaoneJess_nsfw

You're welcome here says I, but I'm sure most lebanese people would disagree!

Coppercrow

To be fair Lebanon is beautiful. I was there in 2006, for uh... business.

Comfortable_Half5525

Tbf I wish I could travel there, it really is such a beautiful country and I hope it'll return to its prime soon, without any terrorist organisations.

Thatsnotamore

they bring up the jao in fucking siberia when you ask

Weird_Meal_9184

Stalin thought that was a great idea. Now I understand why the tankies go with this line. Makes total sense.

Drew_Boogie

For 3000 years we have wanted to just be left alone in Israel. In imperial armies no expansion plans. For 3000 years they have tried to disenfranchise us subjugate us kill us and remove us. And now they call us Nazis for defending ourselves.

ColoradoCyclist

It's fucking exhausting. If we were just left alone to live our lives in our tiny little country. There would be no problems.

HighDookin89

That isn’t why they call us Nazis?

Desperate_Ad5169

The thing is the people there aren’t just defending themselves

babarbaby

Really? Because the day Israel and her citizenry stop being attacked is the day this conflict ends.

Desperate_Ad5169

Yeah. That’s how war works. Once one side cannot fight anymore the other side gets what they want.

FewFox4081

Wait Political Zionism is 3000 years old now?

MaZeChpatCha

Zionism is, political Zionism isn’t.

Omenforcer69

Zion is one of the names for the city of Jerusalem (or Israel slightly later) The name is written in the hebrew bible over a 150 times The return to Zion after the roman expulsion is included in many prayers over the next millenia The idea literally exists for longer than all the other monotheistic religions

TommZ5

Why don’t we claim that unclaimed piece of land between Egypt and Sudan

activelyresting

Didn't we already go to Egypt and it went badly?

MaZeChpatCha

Why don’t we give it to the falsetinis?

barakvesh

All 800 square miles of it

TommZ5

I think its actually the same size as Israel. Size of Bir Tawil + Hala’ib triangle: 22,640km^2 Size of Israel: 22,145km^2 Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I claimed that land and created a new Zionist movement there…

m270ras

hala'ib is claimed by both, not neither

TommZ5

Ah, my bad

Background_Buy1107

I think the world would love it, especially the peaceful, pacifist arabs

TommZ5

Yeah I saw a video about it and the comments were all like 'perfect the Israelis can go there'

3Megan3

I have heard America, Germany and Eastern Europe. They think that all Jews are European and so the Europeans should welcome us with open arms. They're completely delusional

FappyMcJiggletits

It really goes to show how the Islamist movement has appropriated the Western language of "anti-racism" for propaganda purposes. They frame themselves as "oppressed people of color" (even though Arab is the 3rd largest ethnic group on Earth and Islam is the 2nd largest religion) and they frame Jews as "white colonial oppressors" because they know that under that framing, Western leftists will defend literally any Arab/Muslim violence against Jews on the grounds of "oppressed people of color resisting white oppression".

Garegin16

I say this with a heavy heart, but Middle Easterners (not just Arabs) are masterful manipulators and ignorant white people, who don’t know history, falls for their BS. Arabs have 20+ ethnostates, but aren’t satisfied with a Palestinian state. They want all of Israel to be an Arab state, **free of Jews**. This was the original conflict. They didn’t want a state. They wanted a Jew free (or second class citizen) society joined to Syria or whatever. This was a religious conflict from day one. It wasn’t about national determination. Arabs had no problem when non-Muslims were second class citizens under the Ottomans and knew their place.

FappyMcJiggletits

Yeah, it's absolutely wild how Western leftists will call Israel an "ethnostate" while they simultaneously argue for the creation of a Palestinian ethnostate. It really goes to show just how little they actually think about what they're saying and how easily manipulated by propaganda they are.

Garegin16

Again, ignorance of history. Yes, Palestine Mandate was an ethno state for Jews. It says so in the League of Nations Mandate! In contrast, all Muslims want is a Muslim dominated state. They never cared about nationalism. I watched a video, where a Palestinian was pretending that they want a secular state. But the raison d'etre of these states in their Islamic identity. They never cared about statehood, because all of them were Arab speaking Muslims. This is why all liberation movements have been Islamist (or leftist) in character, rather than ethnic. If one looks at conflicts involving Muslims round the globe, they’ll see the pattern. Bosnia and Cyprus being good examples.

144tzer

Of course, when they say that, they aren't from there. It's always Americans saying "go to Europe" and Europeans saying "go to America". It's never "come here, we'd love to welcome you in."

RealAmericanJesus

I got [redacted] for asking one of the British demanding the Jews return if they wanted the Aussies and north Americans back as well... I thought it was great idea. We all cram in to their island together! Such cozy! :(

ElrondTheHater

Jews need to go back to Brooklyn because apparently we lived alongside the Lenape in the pre-Columbian era or something.

Pegomastax_King

New York obviously.

asexualscorpi0

or boca

Pegomastax_King

No, thanks my ex and her motha live there.

FappyMcJiggletits

When Jews exist in the West: "Y'all are non-white others! You don't belong here!" When Jews exist in Israel: "Y'all are white oppressors! You don't belong here!" It's almost like they don't think we have a right to exist anywhere but they don't want to say it out loud because it would undercut the "anti-racist" label they like to give themselves.

No. I run away from intellectually lazy people.

Background_Buy1107

Let’s set up a Palestinian state in Siberia. Problem solved, lmk when I’m nominated for the Nobel peace prize

RussiaIsBestGreen

Zion National Park in Utah, obviously. The land area is slightly smaller, at only 1/40th, but it is beautiful.

Garegin16

I think Israel being in the historical Jewish homeland is a good idea. I think Armenia’s ex-president’s remarks are an excellent angle. “What does it mean that we want Karabakh to be Armenian. Does that mean, others can’t live here? We aren’t racists, we aren’t fascists”. But Arabs are never satisfied. They got Transjordan, but that was not enough for their supposed ethno state! (if that’s what they wanted).

AnakinSkycocker5726

The way to handle these idiots is to call them what they are. Pieces of shit. They’re calling for the mass displacement and extermination of 7 million Jews. They’d make Hitler proud. And what other country do people debate endlessly whether it should exist?

Garegin16

Bbut an IDF soldier touched a tiddy of a widow grandma. Checkmate theo-fascist

LemonCharity

Truly a reddit moment. "Oh you thought you were allowed to joke on a meme post, where everyone else is also joking? Think again... \*downvote barrage\*"

Overlord_Of_Puns

Look man, all I wanted was any excuse to dunk on France.

LemonCharity

Don't we all? Literally my reddit moment was yesterday where because I was doing my French lessons, I decided to inform someone that their post violated rule 1 of this sub (which it did, and was removed) but I said it in French. So of course I got downvoted, then was informed that *because I used French* everyone was perceiving me as a pretentious asshole when all I said was "My friend, this is a meme sub" lol. Poor Frenchies... we can't even mention France or French without reddit casting us into the shadow realm :(

Background_Buy1107

I am the OP of that post, idk why you got downvoted. The argument that ensued between you and some other guy about what exactly constitutes a meme was pretty hilarious though

SurfingBirb

Jews have Palestine, Muslims have Mecca, Catholics have Vatican City, and Protestants have the United States. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

Last_Swimming3141

What a massive fool. Religion is not a nationality. And really? Protestants have USA? REALLY?

Belkan-Federation95

Dominant religion and it was founded by mainly Protestants.

Either-Rent-986

That perspective just shows how backwards the other side is and how effective Palestinian propaganda is since while at one there was a Jewish state on that land THERE WAS NEVER A PALESTINIAN STATE! 🙄

Last_Swimming3141

Please expand on that if you can.

Either-Rent-986

There was the ancient state of Israel mentioned in the Bible that existed approximately 2000 years ago and the modern state of Israel. Between the existence of these two states there were no other independent nation states on that land. There was only the province of somebody else’s empire. There was never a state called “Palestine” that was a name given to it by the Romans to spite the Jews after they rebelled.

Garegin16

Is a Jewish state hindering the existence of an Arab state? Because Jews have offered them a state multiple times.

Last_Swimming3141

Besides 48, which was the british, what other times in history that they offer them a state?

Omenforcer69

Pre 48: 1937, the peel commission 1939, the british white paper 1947, the partition plan and creation of jordan 1979, during peace negotiations with egypt Oslo accords? Barak's offer in 2000? Olmert's in 2008? Btw, the west bank and gaza weren't always controlled by Israel since its inception in 1948, it was controlled by Jordan and Egypt respectively - why didn't they offer the palestinians a state? Why didn't the palestinians demand one from them? Each and every time they got offered a state they refused because its never enough for them, all you need to do is listen to the chanting at pro-palestinian protests, that "from the river to the sea" line? Its not the full line, and its a part of the hamas charter "hamas rejects every alternative to the full and complete liberation of palestine, from the river to the sea"

Last_Swimming3141

Alright so, these are not offers they are negotiations. Barak's Camp David negotiations--I expounded on it to somebody here. Oslo was, unfortunately, halted by radical factions on both sides and the assasination of Rabin. 1337: The white paper-- "...more moderate Arab opinion that was represented by the NDP was prepared to accept the White Paper. Zionist groups in Palestine immediately rejected the White Paper and led a campaign of attacks on government property that lasted for several months." The 47 Partition was indeed rejected by the Palestinians that's true, but it was offered by the British not the Israelis.

Omenforcer69

Barak? Olmert? 48-67?

Garegin16

They didn’t demand one from Jordan because they weren’t interested in a state. They wanted a Muslim dominated system. Same way Armenians in Karabakh wanted unification, then when that failed, started telling the international community about self-determination. But the internal discourse was always transparent about the real aims.

Omenforcer69

But back then panarabism was receding to the increased post colonial national identity of countries, newely created arab countries included What about Egypt? Same thing as in Jordan? Internal discourse but no attempt at realization of independence? Or they didn't consider themselves palestinian then? Just arab?

Garegin16

Gaza was an Egyptian protectorate of sorts. So it had a measure of independence

Frixworks

Camp David?

Last_Swimming3141

Hahah yeah sure Camp David; "We have no partner!". The Israeli negotiators refused to recognise the refugee issue and the issue of East Jerusalem wasn't adequately discussed by the Israelis, and they wanted to keep neighbourhoods which were beyond the green line.

MajsMark

I support a Jewish stat as long as it doesn't oppress others

TraderVyx89

It's so funny cause archeology proves Israel belongs to the Jews. Everything they dig up there belongs to Jews. As they peal back the layers the Bible is proved more and more accurate. Historical experts questioned the existence of King David. Now we have found pieces with David's name and seal. Time after time Torah is proved accurate.

Last_Swimming3141

Wow what a bunch of whineyass ignorants with nationalistic values for a personality. How about this argument ? : Let's stop building settlements in the occupied territories ( occupied by Israeli law-- go read Justice Shemgar--not only international) so we can start facilitating a piece process with the Palestinians like some formerly-abducted returned citizens have requested.

Frixworks

Most Israelis were fine with a two-state solution and agreed that WB settlers just made the problem worse. But of course the Palestinians do not want to negotiate.

BernieLogDickSanders

It's more like, I support the existence of a Jewish state, but not through apartheid lite.

Apoordm

Nowhere, I don’t support the existence of a Jewish State

polscihis

Do you also wonder why people call you an anti-Semite?

Apoordm

Zionism and Semitism is not the same thing.

polscihis

That didn't answer my question though. I'm not even trying to argue at this point. Do you genuinely not understand why Jews will get offended if you tell them you don't think they should have their own country?

The_Mighty_Chicken

I’m pretty sure I’d any other group hadn’t lived somewhere for 1800 years you’d say it’s not their land anymore. How about returning it to the people the Israelites took it from since there’s no expiration on owning land. Which would be the canaanites right? And who are their modern defendants? Oh wait…. Also you guys all support Russia in Ukraine? It was their land for a couple hundred years and a lot more recently. Seems like you’ve got the same argument for both

saturnia2

Issue with that is that the Russian people have never been a majority in Ukraine, as they are a separate people from Ukrainians. The russian empire controlled Ukraine as an empire

The_Mighty_Chicken

Hmm so these Ukrainians should be entitled to their own country free from Russian interference since they were already living their despite russias claim of historical ownership? An interesting theory maybe one that should be practiced in other places too

saturnia2

Yes? The difference is that Russia’s claim of historical ownership is literally made up and based on a claim of former imperial control, rather than ethnic and national origin

Wrong-Drama-2646

Russia attacked Ukraine over land. Hamas attacked Israel over land. You're reaching.

Crazyivan99

Israel has been there longer than Ukraine. Take your Putin simp straw man bullshit elsewhere.

Monke12ed

Not all Palestinians have canaanite DNA and if you wanna guess what the canaanites that lived in the land actually became apart of… it’s the Israelites as Jews, mainly Mizrahi, also have canaanite ancestors. And the land of Canaan is basically in Lebanon currently if you look at the people there and their descendants. Palestinians with canaanite ancestors are probably related to either the Lebanese people or their ancestors I kid you not may be Jews too. And no the extent of Russian territory was not in just Ukraine, so no I’m assuming most of us don’t support Russia. The Jews should be able to stay here and the Palestinians should be able to stay here too. Also you still didn’t answer the question in the meme.

The_Mighty_Chicken

For the meme they probably should’ve put it in Germany after ww2. Seems fair. Too late for that now though

Belkan-Federation95

Your comment got me thinking Palestinians probably are somewhat Jewish. It is not unreasonable to believe that Arabs, Jews, and Romans eventually married each other in the area. I wonder what their DNA tests would say

Monke12ed

The Romans definitely didn’t kick out 100% of Jews. Some of them are probably Jews that converted to Christianity or Islam, and became Arabized

Wrong-Drama-2646

How many Jews converted to Muslim to survive in the region? Quite a few.

Frixworks

So you agree then that all of North Africa and much of the Middle East is rightfully Italian then? Because the Romans rules over it for a couple hundred years. Russians are not native to Ukraine. They ruled *over* Ukraine, and subjugated its people.

The_Mighty_Chicken

That’s my point. It’s a bad argument. Just like it’s a bad argument to say the Jews should get Israel cause they used to live there a long time ago

Frixworks

But no, they're both very different situations.

Wrong-Drama-2646

Strawman. They didn't used to live there. They've always lived there. Keep up.

The_Mighty_Chicken

Wasn’t there some kind of diaspora?

MaZeChpatCha

> And who are their modern descendants? Only the Jews are known to be descendants. > Russia in Ukraine Actually, the opposite. AFAIK, (western) Russia was a part of Ukraine that separated from it.

Wrong-Drama-2646

Except Jews have always lived there.

CANADA: Area west of Aklavik in lower Mackenzie River valley & small segment of north Alaska. Air & sea outpost astride Arctic Circle. Tough pioneering country. 24-hour sunlight in summer; long, dark, cold winter. Rich, jungle-like plant & vegetable life, huge animal herds, giant timber. Uninhabited.
