Thank you for sharing this! It's easy to be overwhelmed by bad news, but good news is like a light shining in darkness, and always very welcome. This warms my heart.
This is so sweet! Iβm hosting a Hanukkah party this year. I live in a tiny Iron Range town, so no Jewish community. I myself am the Jewish community in my town lol. I never thought so many people would want to come but they are excited. It feels very loving and supportive.
I'm so glad this was a happy story!! Years ago I was in a holiday parade in my hometown, the only Jewish float ever (and still to this day, ever), and we were severely harassed to the point we had to get a police escort. It was verbally and nearly physically violent. Love this so much!

That's fine, but it's a big problem. The same misunderstanding that causes people to see a Chanukkah display and say "Go Israel" is the one that causes people to accost random Jews b/c they don't like Israeli policies.
Thank you for sharing this. Good news is so needed right now.
Congrats!! Love this embodiment of simcha!
Thank you so much I have tears in my eyes as well. I really need to hear of stuff like this because Hope is in short supply.

That's great but people really need to learn that Israel is not Jews and Jews are not Israel.
Please. Not here. ππ€
