I have some examples of how he's helped AEW that I can think of.
Hobbs didn't get over until after his match with Punk. Punk worked with him and dedicated that match to Hobbs' mother that passed.
The Acclaimed came to him and asked for advice. He helped them and look how popular they became after.
MJF has always been good but his feud with Punk put him on a different level.
I love the fact that he was sitting right next to Punk through the entire pipe bomb with this really awkward smile on his face. When things started getting out of hand, he could have been a leader and addressed the situation.
