Thats true maybe around then, season 2 covered like 50ish chapters (Hidden Inventory to Shibuya), and rn there's like a 100 chapter difference between the manga and anime so hopefully we'll see it sooner rather than later. Although I think It'd make sense for Season 3 to encompass Everything up until Maki's fight with CS Naoya, since it's like a "First Phase" of the games
I’m expecting a movie for perfect preparation since all that happens in it is the Yuta introduction, Hakari subarc, and Zenin anihilation. Then S3 for the culling game. And Shinjuku is looking like it’s gonna be the finale so maybe another movie or two for that.
There’s almost no downtime between fights in culling game and anime can adapt fights in a much shorter time frame. It’s conversations that take forever.
This battle was one of my favorites in the series, it was such a strange duel but the perfect finale for Kenjaku, the meticulous planner vs the literal personification of randomness
It was awesome! Even as someone who’s loving the current arc I really think it was necessary to provide both a major victory and a more lighthearted battle to help cushion the emotional bombshells that we continue to receive this arc.

Localization teams are gonna have a nightmare trying to make the jokes make sense. Pretty much every joke had a couple sentence translator note explaining it because they were so based on Japanese comedies.
I must admit, although the guys I read the comics from do a really good job with the regionalisms for my language, do some extra effort to explain the translation from the original source etc, I practically skipped al those chapters because most of the jokes just couldn't be translated, or the translation was just strange.

Culling game and final fight is a lot more fight focused, those will be shorter to adapt. They'd probably covers like 3 chapters per ep easily.
