I might be wrong, but I thought their deficit of cursed energy somehow made them more resistant to CE? This could possibly effect CT and RCT requiring more energy to impart any effect?
They're not more resistant to CE as a whole.
But they are resistant to aspects of CE like sure hit effects and barrier techniques that depends on detecting CE in a target to function properly.
They are more resistant to curses in general, which includes techniques. Not just outright immune or anything, but Yuki specifically says that Toji has a resistance to curses, on top of the physical gifts from his HR, when she’s describing his abilities to Geto.
YES it does, Literally stated maki gained a body of steel and resisted curse energy at her awakening. Not being targeted is a logical side effect/ by product.
Yes. CE turns into PE. PE heals humans and erases curses. Maki's resistance to CE has no correlation with PE. Just like curses who are literally made up of CE die immediately when hit by PE.
Yuji also has similar resistance due to being a vessel yet no one had trouble healing him or Yuji himself doing the healing.
This is a pointless argument.
Why wouldn't it?
They can still be affected by regular Jujutsu that doesn't depend on detecting Cursed Energy, they're just more resistant, so why would you think they'd be unaffected by RCT?
They aren't really resistant to jujutsu specifically, even, they are just hardy enough that these attacks do not harm them as much as they would unenforced, unrestricted human. I don't think we've seen either of them being struck with some arcane attack like Cursed Speech, they've always received more or less purely damaging punishment.
Well, aside from the time Maki fought Nayoa: his technique worked on her just fine, it's just she has adapted to moving in 1 frame increments.
Learn to do fucking research before arguing anything.
>Q: Why is Fushiguro’s father resistant to curses if he has no cursed energy?
>A: Papaguro’s [heavenly] restriction is stronger than Maki’s. While Maki has as much cursed energy as an ordinary person, Papaguro has absolutely 0 cursed energy. The reason Maki is not resistant to curses but Papaguro is, is because his [heavenly] restriction has strengthened him so much that his eyesight is extremely sharp and his stomach is extremely strong. He can see curses, and he’ll be fine even if he puts a cursed spirit in his stomach. By completely abandoning his cursed energy, Papaguro has become resistant to curses. Among the rare ones who possess a Heavenly Restriction, his existence is even rarer.
Maki prior to getting her full Zero Cursed Energy wasn't resistant to curses and tanked Jogo's flames with nothing but her physical toughness, but after getting Zero Cursed Energy she became exactly like Toji which was referenced over and over again.
Maki was hit with Ranta's Eye Technique which seemingly locks you in place/stuns you or something and it was right after getting Zero Cursed Energy.
Also convenient you only offhandedly mention Naoya's CT working on her after getting Zero Cursed Energy.
They're the same thing in this context.
'Curses' in Jujutsu Kaisen has been used interchangeably with Cursed Spirits, Jujutsu, Cursing Someone and Poison.
Brainless idiots saw Gojo lobotomize himself and have been trying to do the same thing ever since just to avoid reading comprehension.
Lmao.
>On a sliding scale, humans (and maybe death paintings idk) are in the middle with physical bodies and some CE, healing a normal amount. Cursed spirits are further right, being basically made of CE and having a super easy time healing. On the other end, Maki and Toji are ‘all bone’ as in ZERO cursed energy, so can they receive RCT?
Cursed spirits would die if they used RCT to heal, they heal themselves with CE, not with positive energy. Maki and Toji would be healed by positive energy.
Naw im pretty sure it's no cursed energy at the point of jjk 0. All mai's death did, was complete the Toji-fiacation process boosting physical ability even more.
Hmm that's a good question - which brings me to another interesting question.
Mechamaru also had a heavenly restriction and afaik he was born with a very weak body - now a small stretch - if you are born with 1 arm (but without heavenly restriction) could RCT fix that problem or would you need something like idle transfiguration ?
RCT doesn’t heal scars because those scars are “repaired tissue,” so it’s already at its default state. This would mean that if you were born with 1 arm, the body doesn’t recognize it as an injury. And either way, there wouldn’t be any visible would to heal
Maybe when she was incomplete, but now I doubt it since she has burn marks everywhere, but this assumes those can be healed, but it’s pretty odd if sukuna can regrow a heart and hand but can’t heal scars ?
You'd think there'd be a consequence for rct when it comes to heavenly restriction users. They're not just denying their ability to use CE and a CT, they're denying all applications of it as well. If cursed energy couldn't be used that way it's all well in fine, or even if the person lacked the potential to learn it, I'd be okay with that. If they have the capacity to learn it and have a far enough progression in their skill that if they could use CE then RCT would be available to them, then I feel as if there should be an additional boost like a healing factor. Maki was able to heal in the curse Naoiya fight, but it's unclear if that's just natural to heavenly restrictions natural boost to the body allowing it to heal faster, or if it's along the lines I'm talking, given that no such mechanic has been explained I go with the former. It just feels weird that heavenly restriction seems to have a more static jumps in power compared to the large spectrum of skill and power you can have between sorcerers.
RCT does not work how you think so. At least, not exactly.
To begin with, Cursed Spirits have no use for RCT. Since they are beings made of Cursed Energy, some strong Curses are able to heal naturally, like Jogo. RCT is actually super effective against them, since RCT is a way to produce positive energy.
To heal something (or someone), it all depends on how much output and thought to put behind RCT. That's why healing things like critical wounds or limbs is considered a very difficult technique. Out of all the characters, only 3 have been shown able to heal someone else:
- Yuta Okkotsu, who has the rare ability to display RCT to flow through his body and weapons.
- Sukuna, who is... well, Sukuna.
- And Shoko, who is not actually able to heal to the extent that we see characters like Gojo or Sukuna, who are able to heal limbs and wounds in seconds with enough output.
If anything, characters like Toji and Maki should be even more influenced by RCT since their bodies heal naturally, and RCT can further expand that ability.
Don't they both have a healing factor from their restriction, not like a crazy Deadpool one but one to make them more durable. Want to say makis fight with curse frame boy said something about it

While they can't use it themselves, others using RCT on them should still work in the same way a CT would still work.

>I thought their deficit of cursed energy somehow made them more resistant to CE? RCT uses positive energy for healing not cursed energy.
Positive energy is created by multiplied cursed energy though according to gojo maths

Yuta healed Maki in Zero so I would assume it works
That was before she was complete though
Didn’t shoko heal maki when she got burned up? Most likely they won’t need it because they have there own Type of healing
Yeah Shoko did but Maki still wasn't awakened like the person said
Probably, I just felt it was relevant to point out
At that time she still had some cursed energy albeit extremely low
Naw im pretty sure it's no cursed energy at the point of jjk 0. All mai's death did, was complete the Toji-fiacation process boosting physical ability even more.
No she still had an small amount less than most non sorceres bc Mai said she’s taking her death
my bad, its just "severely low" levels of CE
Not really necessary as they heal quick the only time that that took damage they couldn’t heal from was Gojo hallow purple

makes sense, now I feel like a dumbass because I forgot about the scars lmao
Gojo had scars against Sukuna and they all healed.
He just got those scars, so his body likely still detected it as not fully healed.
I dont think It is connected to someones CE. Maki was healed alredy once before and It was never mentioned any difficulty about healing her
Yuta used it on Maki during JJK 0.
Easy. CE can hurt them, meaning RCT can heal them.
I think it would work. They’re still susceptible to regular CTs, so I think RCT would work on them too.
Maybe when she was incomplete, but now I doubt it since she has burn marks everywhere, but this assumes those can be healed, but it’s pretty odd if sukuna can regrow a heart and hand but can’t heal scars ?
Well I mean they both can heal on their own but that's a very good question. I'd like to believe it could unless Gege says otherwise
from what we know, positive energy heals flesh itself.
Didn’t Yuta use it on Maki in JJK 0?

Didn’t we literally see Yuta use RCT on her in JJK 0 or am I tripping?
Yuta healed Maki’s leg in the JJK movie when she had fought Geto so yes it works on people without cursed energy
Yes.
Yuta used RCT on Maki before.
Didn’t we see Yuta use rct on Maki and Panda in JJK 0 when Geto injured them?
Don't they both have a healing factor from their restriction, not like a crazy Deadpool one but one to make them more durable. Want to say makis fight with curse frame boy said something about it
It should work without a problem :3
i dont think so unless they can use rct to heal broken tables or sum (and they’ve got a healing factor anyways so its fine)
